  • This study analyzed the relationship between ESG performance and corporate value using panel data from Chinese equipment manufacturing companies spanning from 2012 to 2021, and it also examined whether ownership structure moderates this relationship. We have contributed to filling the gap in existing research. The main conclusions of this study are as follows: Firstly, similar to previous researches, ESG performance was found to have a positive and statistically significant impact on corporate value. Secondly, when the three dimensions of ESG - Environmental (E), Social (S), and Governance (G) - were analyzed separately, it was observed that E and S have a positive and statistically significant impact on corporate value, while G has a negative and statistically significant impact. Thirdly, ownership concentration emerged as a significant moderating factor in explaining the connection between ESG performance and corporate value. Lastly, when the three dimensions of ESG were analyzed separately, ownership concentration was found to serve as a positive moderating factor in the relationship between corporate value and E and S, but it did not play a statistically significant role for G.

  • In this paper, we look at the relationship between international trade and the rule of law, using the World Justice Project Rule of Law Index, which include index figures on human rights, limits on government powers, transparency and regulatory efficiency. Based on regression analyses using the rule of law index figures and international trade figures (merchandise trade, service trade, exports and imports as percentage of GDP,) international trade and basic human rights seem to have little relationship; but trade has a close positive relationship with strong order and security. Somewhat surprisingly, regulatory transparency and effective implementation seems to have little or no effect on international trade and vice versa. International trade shows a clear positive relationship with the country's criminal justice system, but the relationship with the civil justice system is not as clear as such. For regulatory implementation and civil justice, services trade positively affect these institutions, but these institutions in turn affect exports more strongly than services trade. Finally, the effect of trade on rule of law is stronger on a medium to long term (10-20 year) time horizon.

  • The purpose of this paper is to review the moderating effect of social support on the relationship between job stress responses(physiological response, psychological response, behavioral response) and occupational accidents/illness. Based on the responses from 187 employees in small & medium manufacturing industry, hierarchical regressional analysis showed that physiological response has positive relationship with accidents and illness, and psychological response has positive relationship with accident. Social support has partly moderating effect on the relationship between job stress responses and occupational accidents/illness.

  • This study explored the mediating effects of positive psychological capital on the relationship between academic grit and academic burnout perceived by high school students. This study was conducted through questionnaires of 573 second graders of high school in Daegu and analyzed by descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, structural equation modelling. The results of this study were as follows. First, academic grit had a negative effect on academic burnout. Second, positive psychological capital mediated the relationship between academic grit and academic burnout. This result implies that it is necessary to provide positive psychological capital to enhance or maintain academical grit in the context of academic burnout. In the subsequent study, it is needed to explore the mediating effects of positive psychological capital on sub-variables, the moderating effect of positive psychological capital profiles, the analysis of variance according to individual backgrounds such as gender and grade for academic grit and academic burnout, and the mediating or moderating effects of positive psychological capital on independent variables such as perfectionism, ego-resilience, and self-efficacy.

For it, a questionnaire survey is performed for 394 participants consisted of male and female living in BUSAN. Their age is from 20 to 50. Afterwards, the collected data is analyzed using the regression analysis. Positive psychological capital is significantly positive to the job engagement. Meanwhile, positive psychological capital is significantly negative to the turnover intention. Likewise, job engagement is significantly negative to the level of turnover intention. Also, job engagement partially mediated relationship between positive psychological capital and turnover intention. Therefore, this study suggests that it will be developed the mediation program that improves both work environment and positive psychological capital to increase job engagement as well as reduce turnover intention in the event worker.

It was examined whether there was a mediating effect of positive thinking on emotional expression and presentation anxiety. In the second stage, emotional expressivity showed a significant effect on presentation anxiety. In stage 3, emotional expressivity was not statistically significant in presentation anxiety, and positive thinking was statistically significant in presentation anxiety. Positive thinking had a total mediating effect(z=-4.57, p<.001) in the relationship between emotional expressivity and public speaking anxiety. For this study, 307 collegians in Ulsan, Yangsan are participated in this study. The data was subjected to confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling with SPSS 18.0, AMOS 18.0. In conclusion, we obtained the next results. First, positive illusions has a statistically significant with oral health promotion in correlation analysis(p<0.05). Second, Structural equation modeling fit index was well fitted as $X^2$=100, df=112, P=0.893, RMR=0.021, GFI=0.969, AGFI=0.943. Only positive self-perception and exaggerated sense of control has a statistically significant(P<0.05). Third, the group of the highest positive illusions has a statistically significant in all factors(P<0.05), the other hand, the group of the lowest positive illusions has not statistically significant in all factors(P>0.05). So, as this results we concluded that the self-confident or activated persons were very well performed in oral health promotion behaviors.
