저소득 가정의 부모자원 및 양육스트레스가 양육효능감에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Causal Study of Parenting Efficacy based on the effect of Parental Resources and Parenting Stress in Low income family)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of parental resources and parenting stress on parenting efficacy in low-income families Furthermore, in order to verify whether parental resources function as a resilience factor, a structural model was established to assess the suitability and influence of the variables. A total of 603 parents of children and adolescents between the ages of 9-18 were selected from the data from Children and Adolescents Comprehensive Status Research (2009) by the Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs. For the analyses, SPSS WIN 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 were utilized. The major results were as follows: First, the suitability of the model was confirmed with variables presenting a satisfying fit. Second, parental resources had a negative effect on parenting stress and a positive effect on parenting efficacy. Third, parenting stress had a negative effect on parenting efficacy. Finally, a test of the structural equation model supports the hypothesis that parental resources have a significant direct effect as well as an indirect effect through parenting stress on parenting efficacy. The implications for further studies and practice were discussed.

영재아동과 일반아동 부모의 양육특성 (Parenting Characteristics between Parents of Gifted and Ordinary Children)

  • 본 연구는 일반아동과 영재아동을 대상으로 부모의 양육특성(양육태도, 양육스트레스, 배우자양육협조 배우자훈육일치)을 비교 분석하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 영재아동과 일반아동 집단에서 양육태도, 배우자양육협조, 배우자훈육일치의 차이가 있었는데, 영재아동의 부모가 더욱 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 영재아동과 일반아동 각각의 집단에서 양육태도, 양육스트레스, 배우자양육협조, 배우자훈육일치 간에 유의한 상관이 있었다. 특히 양육스트레스는 배우자양육협조, 배우자훈육일치와 유의한 부적인 상관이 있었다. 셋째, 각 집단에서 양육태도에 미치는 양육특성 변수들의 영향력을 살펴본 결과 영재아동집단에서는 배우자훈육일치가, 일반아동집단에서는 양육스트레스, 배우자훈육일치가 양육태도에 유의한 영향력이 있는 것으로 나타났다.

아버지의 양육참여 및 양육방식이 유아의 사회성에 미치는 영향 : 한국-중국 비교연구 (Effect of father's parenting involvement and parenting style on child's sociality: Comparative study for Korea-China)

  • The purpose of this study, targeting Korean and Chinese fathers(459) having 3-5 year-old children, was to verify whether fathers' parenting involvement, parenting style and sociality of children are different with nationality. Furthermore, it was examined the effect of fathers' parenting involvement and style depending on development of children's sociality. In case of the fathers' parenting involvement, Korean fathers showed higher value compared to Chinese fathers. Chinese children had higher sociality than Korean children. Fathers' parenting involvement and style had positive relationship with children's sociality in Korean fathers and children. Such trend was similar to Chinese fathers and children. Finally, it was found that the fathers' parenting involvement and style played a pivotal role in children's sociality. Especially, higher 'Development Support' among sub-factors of parenting involvement and 'warmth' of parenting style led to higher sociality in children.

초등학생 어머니의 성격유형에 따른 양육태도 및 양육스트레스 (A Study on Parenting Attitude and Stress according to Personality Type in Elementary School Students' Mothers)

  • Purpose: This study was performed to examine parenting attitude and stress according to personality type in elementary school students' mothers. Methods: The subjects consisted of 206 mothers of students. The measurement instrument was the questionnaire consisting of Korean-version MBTI and PSI test. Data was collected from March 15th to April 15th, 2008. Results: Among personality types by function, ST type was most, occupying 60.2%. Among personality types by temperament, SJ type was most, occupying 59.2%. The score of affective attitude was highest among the parenting attitudes. Parenting attitude was significantly different according to age, education, economic status, number of children, planned pregnancy, factor of stress, and family type. Parenting stress was significantly different according to planned pregnancy and factor of stress. In parenting attitudes by personality types, affective attitude was significantly different. Parenting stress was significantly different according to personality type by function. There was a negative correlation between affective and autonomic attitudes and parenting stress. There was a positive correlation between rejective attitude and parenting stress. Conclusion: It would be essential to provide dynamic developmental programs for increasing the children's social ability, and nursing intervention, education and counseling programs for decreasing parenting stress through understanding mothers' personality type.

사춘기 자녀를 둔 결혼이주여성의 부모교육 요구도에 양육태도와 양육효능감이 미치는 영향력 (The Influence of Parenting Attitudes and Parenting Efficacy on Educational Needs of Married Immigrant Women with Adolescent Children)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 부모교육 요구도에 양육태도와 양육효능감이 미치는 영향력을 파악하여 결혼이주여성들의 양육태도와 양육효능감 증진을 위한 교육프로그램 및 중재전략을 마련하는데 기초자료로 활용하고자 시도되었다. 본 연구는 사춘기 자녀를 둔 결혼이주여성 130명을 대상으로 한 서술적 상관관계 연구이다. 연구결과 양육태도와 양육효능감은 부모교육 요구도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 양육태도와 양육 효능감은 양의 상관관계(r=.248, p<.01)가 있었다. 양육태도에서 수용적 양육태도와 자율적 양육태도는 양의 상관관계(r=.192, p<.05)가 있었고 과잉기대적 양육태도가 높을수록 사회성지도 교육요구도가 높아지고, 수용적 양육태도가 높을수록 성장발달에 대한 이해 교육요구도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 양육효능감이 낮을수록 사회성지도와 부모자신의 성장 교육요구도가 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 부모교육 요구도는 학습과 진로지도, 효과적인 의사소통의 교육에 관한 교육요구도가 높았다. 본 연구결과를 근거로 자녀 교육에 효과적인 수용적 양육태도, 자율적 양육태도와 양육효능감을 향상시키기 위한 결혼이주여성을 위한 체계화된 교육프로그램 개발 및 교육의 기회가 더욱 활성화되기를 기대한다.

교사-어머니의 의사소통과 어머니의 유아교육기관 만족도 및 양육스트레스 (Teacher-Mother Communication : Its Effect on Satisfaction with Early Childhood Educational Institutions and on Parenting Stress)

  • This study reviewed communication between mothers and teachers of early childhood educational institutions and the effect of communication on mothers' satisfaction with the institution and on parenting stress. Results showed that (1) the most discussed topic pertained to children's friendships at the educational institutions. (2) Attitudes during communication were comparatively favorable. (3) Increased communication of mothers with the teachers showed increased satisfaction with the early childhood educational institution. (4) Mothers with positive understanding of communication and understanding of teachers showed higher satisfaction rate towards the early childhood educational institution. (5) Mothers showing higher satisfaction towards early childhood educational institution and positive attitudes during communication with teachers exhibited less parenting stress.

대학생이 지각한 부모양육태도가 조절초점에 미치는 영향: 자아탄력성의 매개효과 (A Study on the Effects of Perceived Parenting Attitudes on Regulatory Focus Among College Students: Mediating the Effects of Ego-Resiliency)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to test the mediating effects of ego-resilience on relationship between perceived parenting attitudes and regulatory focus among college students. Methods: In this study, 256 college students were surveyed. The collected data were put through correlation analysis using PASW Statistics 18.0. In addition, 3-stage multiple regression analyses and the Sobel test were used to test any mediating effects. Results: The findings show that the diversity of concerns and interests, emotion control, and positive future orientation, the subfactors of ego-resiliency, all have partial mediating effects on the relationship between father's care and promotion focus. Only positive future orientation had partial mediating effects on the relationship between mother's care and promotion focus. Conclusion: Father's care turned out to be an independent variable to explain better the mediating effects of ego-resiliency on relations between parenting attitudes and regulatory focus, which implies the influence and importance of father's care on college students.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relations of peer competence to children's interpersonal problem solving skills and mothers' parenting behavior. The subjects were 88, 6-year-old children and their mothers. Instruments used included the Peer Competence Scale, PIPS, and the revised version of IPBI. The data were analyzed with Pearson correlations, partial correlations, and stepwise regression. Children's sociability was explained mostly by mothers' intimacy-reasoning guidance, parental involvement, and children's positive alternative Solutions. Children's prosocial behavior was explained mostly by mothers' intimacy-reasoning guidance and children's positive alternative solutions. Children's leadership was explained most by mothers' involvement and Omit selling in parenting.

장애아동 부모의 양육 스트레스가 양육 효능감을 경유하여 정신건강에 미치는 영향: 양육시간의 조절된 매개효과 (Effect of parenting stress on mental health of parents raising children with disabilities through parenting efficacy: Moderated mediating effect of parenting time)

  • 본 연구는 장애아동을 양육하는 부모의 양육 스트레스가 양육 효능감을 경유하여 정신건강에 미치는 영향을 양육시간이 조절 매개하는지를 검증하여 장애아동 약육 부모의 양육 스트레스를 감소시킬 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 조사대상은 장애아를 둔 부모였으며 총 315명이었다. 자료는 SPSS Win. Ver. 25와 SPSS PROCESS macro 4.2를 활용하여 분석하였다. 기술통계 분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관분석 및 조절된 매개효과 분석이 적용되었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장애아동을 양육하는 부모의 양육 스트레스는 양육 효능감과 정적 상관관계, 양육 스트레스와 정신건강은 부적인 상관관계, 양육 효능감과 정신건강은 부적인 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 양육시간은 양육 스트레스가 양육 효능감을 경유하여 정신건강에 미치는 영향을 조절 매개하였다. 결론적으로 장애아동을 양육하는 부모의 양육시간은 양육 스트레스가 양육 효능감을 거쳐 정신건강에 미치는 부정적인 영향을 상승시키는 역할을 함을 확인하였다.

어머니의 한계설정과 과보호/허용 양육이 유아의 외현화 행동에 미치는 영향: 어머니의 우울과 유아의 의도적 통제에 의한 조절된 매개효과 (The Influence of Maternal Limit-Setting and Overprotective/Permissive Parenting on Preschoolers' Externalizing Behaviors: A Moderated Mediation Effect of Maternal Depression and Preschoolers' Effortful Control)

  • Objective: Studies have revealed that parenting is a crucial factor for children's effortful control and externalizing behaviors, however, less is known about the underlying mechanism that may be moderated by maternal depression. Therefore, the present study is aimed to testify the mediating effect of children's effortful control and moderating effect of maternal depression in the association between parenting(i.e. limit setting, overprotective/permissive parenting) and children's externalizing behaviors. Methods: Three hundred and one mothers with 4 to 6 years old children reported their parenting behaviors, depression, their children's effortful control and externalizing behaviors. Data were analyzed using SPSS and Process Macro. Results: Results showed that children's effortful control mediated the association between parenting and children's externalizing behaviors and maternal depression moderated the association between parenting behaviors and children's effortful control as well as between parenting behaviors and children's externalizing behaviors. The moderated mediation effects were stronger among mothers with lower levels of depression. Conclusion/Implications: These findings could contribute to a better understanding of how and when maternal limit setting and overprotective/permissive parenting impact children's externalizing behaviors. It is suggested that future efforts to provide the parenting intervention take a target specific approach (e.g. considering mother's depression symptom), on order to maximize the effectiveness of program to ultimately facilitate children's positive adjustment.
