In vocabulary recognition using an HMM model which models the prior distribution for the observation of a discrete probability distribution indicates the advantages of low computational complexity, but relatively low recognition rate. The Bayesian techniques to improve vocabulary recognition model, it is proposed using a convergence of two methods to improve recognition noise-canceling recognition. In this paper, using a convergence of the prior probability method and techniques of Bayesian posterior probability based on HMM remove noise and improves the recognition rate. The result of applying the proposed method, the recognition rate of 97.9% in vocabulary recognition, respectively.

D-MAC protocol is used convergence network, which is designed to connect wireless link between things. This protocol is supported to local data exchange and aggregation among neighbor nodes, and distributed control packet from sink to sensor node. In this paper, we analysis about efficiency of power consumption according to whether or not security authentication of D-MAC in convergence network. If authentication scheme is applied to MAC communication, it is related to power consumption of preamble whether or not with and without authentication process. It is reduced to energy consumption against denial attack of service, when it is applied to authentication. Future work will take the effort to deal with security authentication scheme.

Digital convergence means a service or new product which appeared through fusion of unit technologies in information and communication regions. In 2011, The Government introduced "IT Convergence Technology Prediction Survey 2025". Smart mobility is a main factor in smart city which is main example of convergence. A intelligent transport system(ITS) is a key factor of smart mobility. The conventional transport systems include road, car, signal systems. But the ITS is a transport system containing additional technologies such as electronics, control, communication to increase traffic safety and effectiveness of traffic facilities. In this paper, we described intelligent transport system related with our life.

This study analyzed the effects that service convergence factors in the public sector have upon corporate performance via the parameter of overall satisfaction, targeting corporations that have received corporate support service under the auspices of regional industry promotion policies. The results of the analysis indicated that corporate support service quality factors pertaining to support processes and outcomes, excluding quality, have significant influence on overall satisfaction, and overall satisfaction also affects corporate performance. Thus, the study is significant in that it provides a sound basis for judging which aspects of corporate support convergence service quality need to be supplemented in order to improve overall satisfaction and corporate performance.

This study deals with how liberal education in engineering could be positioned properly in an era of convergence. Disciplines of Engineering has long been focusing on engineer as a 'technical profession' and the liberal education as an accessory to major study has been left behind. Under this understanding, the topic of 'convergence' in the 21th century engineering is hardly to find its way to the establishment into engineering education. This study suggests a direction for the reform of liberal education in engineering, which is expected to overcome the distinction between professional and non-professional aligned with major education and liberal one. For the reform, introducing and developing contents and methodologies considering convergence would open the door of engineering education to interdisciplinary study and to 'open-profession'. Next, the problem solving model in education will be very effective for learners to define the problem, to utilize various knowledges and to lead to meaningful solution. Lastly, we emphasize the changing context of liberal education and it is necessary to integrate 'technology literacy' into liberal education in relation to major study.

This paper aims to propose a framework of content creating group with creativity under new convergence environments. The framework is built based on content concept hierarchy(deep/surface) relating with the creativity of group members. The diversity of group members(potential creativity) decrease and change into creative abilities in one unified view at each content concept hierarchy in time. To do this, three methods of building a creative group(interaction-base, direction-base, hybrid) are proposed. Cooperating processes and operators are designed to promote creative abilities in the content producing group. These cooperations are considering new media convergence industry's job road map(IPTV) and fundamental content attributes(semantic, narrative, discourse). In the framework, creative content is produced with the help of member's cultural openness, media richness and synchronicity, hierachical adaptability on dissimilarity. Deep level creativity of cognitive semiotics on moving image content is composed of psychological, transformational, situational creating abilities in the structure of group members. Designing analogy, metaphor, symbol operators help members to traverse deep structure of content concept hierarchy. Our framework has strong points to relate fundamental content deep structure with structure of content producing group and to induce creativity on cognitive structure of human being.

This research looks at the innovative product characteristics, environmental properties, and personal attitudes as antecedents of consumer's perceived usefulness and easiness of product usage. And the attitudes toward digital convergence products and its acceptability as consequences. The results indicate that relative advantage, expectation for better product, the social influence, mass communications, and attitudes toward the new technology, significantly influence the perceived usefulness. The current research revealed that perceived usefulness is more influential over perceived easiness on the formation of positive attitude toward the product. The users of digital convergence products put more weight on the availability of the product functions rather than easiness of use.

In this paper, we analyze the research / technology trends of electric vehicles from 2001 to 2014, through keyword analysis using paper data published in SCIE or SSCI Journal on electric vehicles, time series analysis using patent data by IPC, and network analysis using nodeXL. also we predicted promising technologies of electric vehicles using one of the prediction methods, weighted moving average method. As a result of this study, battery technology among the electric vehicle component technologies appeared as a promising technology.

Purpose: One distinctive trend in the recent industrial and technological development has been the change in the structures of industries brought by information technology, boosting the productivity of different sectors. This relation has clearly opened a path for the fourth industrial revolution to reform numerous industrial sectors, including i-fashion sectors. Therefore, in this research, we would like to present the direction of the direction policy for the fusion of the manufacturing industry and the service industry of i-fashion. Methods: In this study, an empirical time series data analysis of machinery investment efficiency and capital investment efficiency of 43 industrial sectors in manufacturing and service was conducted to show their potential and ongoing convergence toward i-fashion. Results: Most impressive as a finding in this research was that those sectors previously underinvested due to a combination of technological and financial reasons found an exit for growth. In textile and apparel sectors, that could be the i-fashion. Conclusion: One strong implication of this study is that sectoral level convergence based on technology and industry is occurring, and i-fashion is one of the industrial convergence case to be observed.
