Development of an ICT Car Service Applying a Human-Centered Design

  • Currently, various technological models and services are emerging because of the development of information and communication technology and the convergence of industries. The ICT car field is expanding because of technological convergence in the automobile industry. However, ICT convergence services are still being developed based solely on technology; characterization of users and their needs is lacking. Therefore, two types of ICT car services that apply human-centered design processes are developed in this study. These processes create services and models while considering the quality and functions of products based on users (instead of technology) when developing products or services. Usability evaluation was performed on the developed services; a human-centered design process was applied to the results to confirm that the derived services resulted in high satisfaction. In the future, these research results will provide useful applications when developing ICT car services and strategies.

플랫폼 보조서비스 수용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Supplementary Service Adoption of Platform)

  • This study focuses on the network externality effect related to the platform supplementary services. This study designs the network externality of platform and suggests a supplementary service adoption model. Additionally, this study examines the moderating effect of demand forecasting for the platform. Using AMOS program, a structural equation modeling has been used to analyze the research model. The findings can be summarized as follows : First, we find out the structural relationship among the factors (usefulness, perceived value, purchase intention) affecting adoption of the supplementary services. Second, positive perception of platform flow can promote the platform interaction. Third, positive perception of present users based on platform can arouse friendly evaluation in the platform interaction. Fourth, loyalty to the platform brand can improve the perceived usefulness of supplementary services, but cannot lessen the resistance to supplementary service cost. In addition, the moderating effects of demand forecasting for the platform in the path leading from platform factors to supplementary service factors were identified. In conclusion, traditional brand strategy may be effective in platform marketing activities but the extent of performance in the strategy can appear to be quite different. Therefore, taking the relationship with network externality into consideration should be involved in the marketing strategy in platform.

O2O 배달 앱 플랫폼 서비스에서 공급 업체의 지속이용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on Factors Affecting Vender's Continuous Use Intention in O2O Delivery App Platform Service)

  • Recently, delivery app services based on the O2O platform are increasing rapidly. Accordingly, various studies on O2O service have been conducted. Most of the studies are on consumer behavior in O2O services, and few studies on platform vendors have been conducted. Therefore, this study empirically analyzed the factors affecting the vender's intention to continuous use in the O2O delivery app platform service. Based on prior researches, we set the quality characteristics and network characteristics of the O2O platform as independent variables. The quality characteristics of the O2O platform consisted of system quality, information quality, and service quality, and the O2O platform network characteristics consisted of network externality and platform reputation. Perceived value and switching cost were set as mediated variables, and vender's intention to continuous use was set as dependent variables. For empirical analysis, we conducted a survey targeting vendors of O2O delivery app platform service, and conducted frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and regression analysis. As a result of the analysis, the quality characteristics of the O2O platform, such as system quality, information quality, service quality, and O2O platform network characteristics, showed that network externality and platform reputation had a positive effect on perceived value. The perceived value was found to have a positive effect on the switching cost and the intention to continuous use, and the switching cost was found to mediate the perceived value and the intention to continuous use. This study can contribute to the establishment of platform operation strategy as an empirical analysis on the factors that influence the intention of O2O platform vendors to use the platform continuously.

  • 각 이동 통신 업체들의 독립적 모바일 플랫폼 구축에 따른 비용 낭비를 방지하기 위해 한국무선 인터넷표준화포럼(KWISF)에서 WIPI 플랫폼을 제안하였다. 기존의 각 이동 통신사의 플랫폼에 맞춰진 모바일 맵 서비스가 실시되고 있으나 향후 WIPI('Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability) 플랫폼으로 통합이 이루어지면 플랫폼과 컴퍼넌트 API 변화에 따른 모바일 맵 서비스 환경 변화가 불가피할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 WIPI 환경에 적합한 모바일 맵 서비스 기법을 설계하고 구현 결과를 제시한다.

금융분야의 플랫폼 기반 마이데이터 서비스 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Platform-based MyData Service in Financial Industry)

  • Amid the global movement to harness individual data and boost the data economy, MyData services that utilize personal data are being implemented in earnest in the financial sector in Korea due to the government's active encouragement policy. To this end, MyData service providers must have a service system for business operators that collects and efficiently loads personal information scattered in various financial institutions with individual consent, and comprehensively analyzes and provides it. The system must not only have strict security management capabilities, but also be built in a flexible form that takes into account future data scalability and additional services. In this paper, it has been proposed to be implemented the essential functions that MyData service system must have and the core functions that can manage the entire data life cycle from data collection, distribution to disposal in the form of a platform. In addition, the strengths of the platform structure were reviewed, and the effectiveness of the platform model was examined upon application.

  • Mobile devices are widely accepted as a convenient machine which provides computing capability as well we cell phone capability. Because of limited resources on mobile devices, complex applications could not be deployed on the devices. Service-based mobile applications (SMAs) can provide a solution to overcome the limitation by subscribing cloud services. Since SMAs have complex structures than standalone applications, it is challenging to develop high quality SMAs, to manage both services and mobile applications, and to implement automated billing for subscribed services. Therefore, there is a great demand for a platform for super mobile computing, which supports all key activities in managing life cycle of SMAs. In this paper, we present technical aspects of a platform which is under development; Super Mobile Autonomous Reliable plaTform (SMART). We believe that it provides a number of practical features which are essential in supporting life-cycle of SMAs; development, deployment, management, and operation.

항만 BIM 플랫폼의 클라우드 서비스를 위한 IaaS+PaaS 통합 환경 개발 (Development of an Integrated IaaS+PaaS Environment for Providing Cloud Computing Service in a BIM Platform for Harbor Facilities)

  • Because the existing BIM platform is based on user services, the focus is on the development of SaaS (Software as a Service), which provides business services online. However, since a harbor is a security facility, the harbor BIM platform is preferably provided in a private form, rather than relying on the infrastructure environment provided by external cloud providers. Therefore, this study analyzes and reviews the main functions to be provided as SaaS services of the harbor BIM platform. The goal is to build a cloud-based harbor BIM platform that can provide this service to users. To this end, we built IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) environment of the harbor BIM platform based on the open source Open Stack and integrate and develop PaaS environment with Open Shift applied with IaaS. We applied the GPU to the harbor BIM platform to verify the performance of the harbor BIM platform, and found that the rendering and loading times are improved. In particular, it is expected to reduce the cost of introduction and provide it as the basic cloud environment of similar BIM platform for infrastructure facilities.

금융권 플랫폼 비즈니스의 서비스 품질 요인간 구조적 관계에 대한 연구 (Structural Relationship and Evaluation Factors in Financial Platform Business)

  • In order to enhance competitiveness in the industry, financial companies are building a high level of customer satisfaction and repurchase intention by further strengthening not only the technical quality of the platform business but also the customer-oriented service quality. Theoretically, it is time for a theoretical review of whether the expansion of service quality using platform business in the financial industry is directly linked to the performance of financial companies, such as satisfaction and repurchase intention of existing customers. Based on the rapid growth of mobile and the main activities of financial platform companies above, This study attempted to test a significant impact on customer satisfaction and reuse intention on information services and system services, which are service quality of mobile financial platforms. Even if a number of financial companies compete with each other, they could survive by dividing the market, In the digital environment, customers have free access, so the winner can monopolize the market. It is an environment in which customers can move to platform companies that provide better services. The contents presented through the results in this study will be able to be used strategically in terms of the implementation and operation of the financial platform. In addition, it served as an opportunity to find independent variables that affect customer satisfaction and reuse intention, which are financial platform service quality, and suggested the possibility of continuous development of the platform in the future. In summary, the service quality of financial platforms can further expand users by emphasizing user visibility in terms of information services and utilizing user-centered financial platforms that increase customer satisfaction and reliability by strengthening the responsiveness and ease of system services. This study is of important value and is believed to have laid an important foundation for future research.

A Study on the Medical tourism customized service platform for clinic

  • Through diversification of 4th industries and transportation and globalization, tourism was developed for medical purposes, not limited to touring tourist attractions. The trend of medical tourism in Korea is shifting from large and medium-sized hospitals to professional medical services in one area of small hospitals rather than professional medical services. However, small hospitals lack medical coordinators and interpretation services, and tourists who visit Korea for treatment lack information on small hospitals. Therefore, a platform is needed to match small hospitals with medical tourists. In this study, using Platform as a Service (Paas) in cloud computing, clinic administrators can access the app to introduce information about their hospitals with simple manipulations. Tourists also want to propose a customized platform to select the right area for them to check information about small-scale hospitals and choose the treatment and tourist attractions they wants. 플랫폼 서비스 가치와 수수료에 대한 경제적 고찰 (Economic Perspectives on Online Platforms: Scenario-based Case Studies)

  • 최근 COVID-19 확산과 함께 온라인 쇼핑 시장의 규모가 지속적으로 증가하여 다양한 온라인 거래 플랫폼이 시장에 등장함에 따라 많은 소상공인이 플랫폼에 입점하고 있다. 이처럼 최근 소상공인의 플랫폼 활용이 크게 늘어나면서 적정 수수료에 대한 이슈가 제기됨에 따라 플랫폼 활용과 수수료에 대한 사회적 논의의 필요성이 제기된다. 현재 수수료에 대한 논의는 대부분 부정적인 측면에서 특정 사례 중심으로 이루어지고 있으며 플랫폼의 활용 가치와 수수료를 종합적으로 고려한 체계적인 논의는 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 플랫폼 서비스 활용 가치와 수수료 비용을 함께 고려하여 플랫폼 수수료에 대한 체계적이고 종합적인 이해를 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 플랫폼 서비스별 경제적 가치를 추산하여 세부적으로 분석하였다. 온라인 플랫폼 사용이 활발한 배달 서비스, 이커머스 두 업계를 선정하고 판매자가 플랫폼 서비스를 이용함으로써 발생하는 기대수익 변화에 주목하였고, 판매자의 플랫폼 입점 여부, 서비스 이용 여부 등 시나리오별로 추산한 매출과 비용을 기반으로 기대수익을 비교분석하였다. 연구 결과, 플랫폼 입점과 플랫폼 서비스 활용은 매출 상승과 비용 절감을 가능하게 하며, 이는 판매자의 기대수익에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 플랫폼 수수료를 플랫폼 서비스 이용과 이에 따른 가치 획득에 대한 사용료 관점으로 이해하고 이를 기반으로 플랫폼 서비스와 수수료의 경제적 가치를 추산하여 플랫폼 서비스 활용 가치와 비용을 종합적이고 체계적인 논의로 확대하고자 한다.
