This study aimed at categorizing food product consumer's life types, understanding properties of each type, identifying differences in the food consumption pattern, and suggesting a strategical plan to implement market segmentation for the future food products. A demonstrative analysis revealed that consumption tendencies of the sample group in the Busan area could be categorized into four types-popular brand orientation, convenience and practicality orientation, and change and innovation oriention; an analysis of demographical differences in each group demonstrated that variabes of age and family formation showed a significant difference within a significant level. A test of differences in the significance among food consumption types in each group demonstrated that there was no signifcant difference in the number of dining-out, average cost of dining-out per person, dining-out of the week, cost of dinner, and attributes of food service selection. To the contrary, there was a significant difference in the purpose of dining-out, place of lunch, cost of lunch, menu of dinner, and food service information medium among consumption tendencies of each within a significant level.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the biotope structure of the city center area of Jung-gu for nature experiences and recreation purposes. Jung-gu is the most extremely and rapidly urbanized area of Daegu. This study was conducted under the assumption that the biotope structure of a city center area would be different from the urban area. The results of this study are as follows: 1) There are 11 biotope type groups as designated as commercial and work-area biotope type group, and 41 detailed biotope types designated as commercial areas with a lack of greenspace biotope type. 2) The commercial and work area biotope type group has the largest area with 34% of the total area, and the square biotope type group has the smallest area with 34% of total area. 3) The result of primary biotope evaluation is that there are 12 biotope types that have greater than third grade, apart from the biotope type of park that includes natural vegetation. The first grade of biotope type has not appeared in this area, however, the fifth grade of biotope type has 20 biotope types with the biotope type of construction work area (JA). 4) The results of the secondary biotope evaluation are 1 biotope for la, 9 biotopes for 2a, 9 biotopes for 2b, 14 biotopes for 2c and no biotope for 2a. This study suggests that a detailed investigation and improvement plan for high-value biotope areas in the city center area must be continued.

This study was carried out for the purpose of Exploring the types of AI platforms for creative activities and how to use them. In order to learn AI in the fields of art creation and music creation, which are representative areas of creative activity, types of AI platforms that can experience AI and perform simple programming were investigated. In addition, the utilization plan was presented so that each AI platform can be used to express students' ideas abundantly and to enhance their creativity. Through this, it is meaningful to suggest that the AI platform can be used as a teaching aid to enhance students' expressive power and creativity in creative activities.

As the number of defects in apartments has increased recently, lawsuits and disputes related to defects have also increased. As a result, the loss of time and money is enormous. Therefore, fundamental measures are needed to reduce the occurrence of defects. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to propose a plan to reduce defects, focusing on window construction. To this end, existing studies were reviewed, and data from domestic construction companies were collected and classified to organize the types of defects. Based on the classified data, eight types with a high incidence of window glass were analyzed according to the time of occurrence, and the cause and causal relationship of the defect were schematized. It aims to identify the degree of possibility of recurrence of defects for each of the eight defect types for experts and derive key management elements using the RII method. Therefore, the goal is to select key management elements of window construction that actively reflect the characteristics of the construction stage.
This study is designed to identify the differences in the types and importance of trade claims at the national level. For analysis data, abstracts of arbitration and court judgments published on the website of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law are collected and used. The target countries are China and the United States, with 102 cases from China and 59 cases from the United States. By applying topic modeling techniques to the collection decisions of China and the United States, trade claims are categorized, and the importance of each type is identified using the network centrality index derived through semantic network analysis. The analysis results are as follows. First, the main types of trade claims were the same for both the United States and China: product nonconformity, delivery issues, and payments. However, in China, the order of product nonconformity > delivery issues > payments was important, and in the United States, payments > product nonconformity > delivery issues were found to be important. This study is significant in that it presents a strategic trade claim management plan using a quantitative methodology.

This study is aimed to provide a guide for PC use space in apartment. To achieve this, a design about PC use space which was considered adequate location, area, form was suggested. As methods of the study, survey research method and case study. The survey was taken by five hundred-eighty-nine people who used PCs in apartment from May 2005 to July 2005 in Je-Ju province for an analysis of data. The results of the survey were showed PC use space situation and furnitures layout patterns. The case was classified by unit plans of size, and it showed design example of PC use space. In case of the 20s pyeong(about 3.30 square meters) type, PC use space was located in dead-space in the residence with minimum scale, because of 20s pyeong types are smaller than the other types. In case of the 30s pyeong type, PC use space which was divided with a partition panel was located in the livingroom expanding the room space to the balcony. In case of the 40s pyeong type, PC use space was located in the room of sons or daughters which was arranged with other furniture. The adequate area of PC use space is 1.4$^{\sim}$2.2 square meters, and it should take into account furniture size and human active sphere. And PC use space of form should consider traffic line, personal space and privacy. Besides it is required of ergonomic design in chair, table in its scale. And it is necessary development of systematic furniture for PC use space.

Purpose: It seems obvious that the hospital structures become more large-sized and tall-risen in Korea today. Nothing is more influential than the vertical core plan on the movements of various people in such large-tall hospitals. The present paper, therefore, aims to study on the efficient hospital core space paying first attention to patients by analysing the data on relations between/among department layouts of vertical and horizontal movements. Methods: This study sampled representative 14 hospitals and drew their degrees of data importance on the basis of precedented relative studies. This study also analysed their placements on the blueprint and made confirmations of their arrangements through their homepage on line. Actual visits were made to make sure of the spacial connections between/among departments in the hospitals as well. Results: Even in emergency case in need for vertical movements, the central main core spaces are usually used, which is because special vertical transportation systems are not provided. In these cases, the main core spaces are very important for those who have to move vertically and/or horizontally according to the locations and types of main cores. While special lifts or dumbwaiters are prepared to install for the important articles, such as samples of pathology department, most patients should share with regular visitors the elevators not separated visually and spatially from them. Implications: Vertical core plans are greatly dependent on the ward types and hospital styles. This study is hopefully expected to contribute itself to the standard setting-up of comfortable and quick vertical core system operations for patients.
This research was to analyze the border signal-fire which is the main facility of military protective duty for safety of sea side in chosun dynasty. The results of this research were described separately as follows. 1. Five types of site plan of signal-fire were observed, which is circle, half-circle, oval, round-rectangular. The majorities were circle type in eastern area. 2. Plan configuration of signal-fire stand which is separated with circle, rectangular type roughly was constructed with circle type generally. The height of signal-fire stand was about $2{\sim}3m$. The diameter of signal-fire stand was $8{\sim}10m$. Building base that protect ground moisture and infilteration of rainfall was found in 9 border singal-fire, the height of it was about $0.3m{\sim}2.5m$. 3. Trench was mainly circle type and average width was $3{\sim}4m$. However the depth was almost observed as 1m, originally, it was estimated it has more depth. 4. The height of protective wall remained until present was about 1m, the depth was about average 2.5m. 5. The storage of border signal-fire has rectangular dimension, several types of $1.8{\times}1.2m{\sim}5.7{\times}4.4m$, square(間) of $1{\times}1{\sim}2{\times}1$. The building material was stone and located below or near the signal-fire stand.

This study investigated the influential range of landmarks and the relationship between landmarks and cognition factor so as to offer basic data to be used for the effective use and the management of landmarks. In this study, eighteen famous landmark in Seoul were selected and analyzed. The result of this study can be summarized as follows : 1) First, eighteen determining elements of cognition factors were selected via documents survey. Second, general cognition factors of landmarks were analysed using these elements through questionnaires to specialists. As a result of factor analysis, historic cultural factor, scale factor, visual form factor, locational factor and uniqueness factor were revealed. 2) According to revealed cognition factor, eighteen landmarks are categorized into four types using MDS method via questionnaire to resident in Seoul city. These four types of landmarks are: type I that are recognized by historic cultural factor; type II that are recognized by scale factor; type III that are recognized by uniqueness factor; and type IV that are recognized by visual form factor. 3) As the result of regression, the influential range of landmarks were revealed at about a 10km radius(type I : 12km type II : whole area of Seoul city≒15km, typeIII : 8.7km, typeIV : 8.5km). 4) As a result of analysing the correlation between the influential range and the cognition factor through multiple linear regression analysis, the locational factor is the main factor affecting the influential range of landmarks in every type. The uniqueness factor comes next, which affects influential range partially. 5) Except type 1, as a result of analysing the correlation between influential range and the physical heights of landmarks, a quadratic equation is revealed, showing that the influential range of landmarks over 200 meters in height shows a radical change. Landmarks can be used as reinforcement tools of legibility, effective tools for landscape management and for the improvement of a community's image. This study on the influential range of landmarks and main cognition factor can be utilized as a landmark management plan and in urban planning, such as a new town plan.
The purpose of this study is to examine the residents' preference to community facilities in national rental apartment complexes. Twelve housing complexes were sampled and researched with questionnaire and field-surrey methods. The data from the questionnaire survey were processed with SPSS 14 and analyzed by regional group, size of complex, and arrangement plan of facilities. The complexes are located in two legions, Seoul and Gyounggi province. They were also sorted into three groups by size: less than 500 households, 500 to 1,000, and more than 1,000. Lastly, the complexes were categorized into three types: those where facilities are concentrated in or around a single building, dispersed into several places, and located in residential buildings. The results are as follows: Majority of the community facilities are established outdoor and, therefore, the indoor facilities are relatively more insufficient. Especially, there is a shortage of indoor gymnasium while the demand is increasing. It is partly because there is no regulatory guideline on indoor gym requirements in housing complexes. The resident satisfaction measurement shows significant comparison according to region and complex size. The level of satisfaction with garden/kitchen-garden, pond/fountain/streamlet is higher at the complexes in Gyunggi. The residents of larger complexes give positive feedback about spells facilities while those of smaller complexes are more satisfied with education-related facilities such as library and study. The measurement of resident needs shows significant comparison according to complex size and facility arrangement plan. The residents of smaller complexes are more in need of community facilities. In both regulatory standards and actual condition, community facilities are more insufficient at small complexes with less than 500 households.
