A Study on the self-tuning of the design variables and gains using Fuzzy PI+D Controller (퍼지 PI+D 제어기를 이용한 설계변수와 이득의 자기동조에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문에서는 설계변수와 제어기 이득의 자기 동조를 사용하는 PI+D 제어기 설계에 대하여 기술한다. 사용된 퍼지 PI+D 제어기는 일반적인 연속 시간 선형 PI+D 제어기를 근사화하여 사용하였고, 퍼지화는 퍼지싱글톤으로, 비퍼지화는 간략화된 무게중심법을 사용하였다. 제안된 제어기는 제어대상이 비선형일 때 자기 동조 성능이 개선된다. 퍼지 PI+D 제어기가 적용되면, 퍼지추정 결과는 분리된 퍼지 변수로서 다른 작용 성분으로 계산되고, 그 결과는 설계변수에 해당하는 함수의 형태로 결정되어 제어이득을 결정한다. 따라서 제안된 방법은 빠른 속도 추정의 성능을 가지며, 퍼지 입력변수의 증가에도 쉽게 적용될 수 있고, 재생 오차를 줄이는 이점을 가진다. 이 제어기는 설계변수와 제어기 이득의 사용으로 보다 높은 효율성과 개선점을 가지고 있다.

  • Pattabiraman and Paulraja [K. Pattabiraman, P. Paulraja, Vertex and edge PI indices of the generalized hierarchical product of graphs, Discrete Appl. Math. 160 (2012) 1376- 1384] obtained exact formulas for the vertex and edge PI indices of generalized hierarchical product of graphs. The aim of this note is to improve the main results of this paper.

  • This paper presents an optimal and robust PI-PD controller design method for the second-order systems both with dead time and without dead time to satisfy the design specifications in the time domain via LQR design technique. The optimal tuning method of PI-PD controller are also developed by setpoint weighting and neural networks. It is shown that the simulation results show significantly improved performance by proposed method.

  • This paper suggests fuzzy-PI controllers for a heavy-duty gas turbine. The fuzzy-PI controllers are designed to regulate rotor speed and exhaust temperature of the gas turbine. The controller gains are tuned by genetic algorithm(GA). This paper also proposes a new fitness function of GA using a desired output response. The suggested controller is compared with previous controllers via simulations and it is shown that the rotor speed variation of our controller is smaller than those of previous ones.

  • In this paper, a fuzzy precompensated PI controller for inverter-type air-conditioner is presented. The presented control scheme is composed of a fuzzy logic precompensator and PI controller, in which two control schemes are serially connected. The rules of the fuzzy precompensator is designed to improve the performance by considering the nonlinear characteristics of a temperature dynamics. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed controller.

  • This paper proposes new position control method for DC servo motor by PI controller adopting sliding mode control. By adding sliding mode controller to conventional PI controller good robustness is obtained with good transient response and no steady state error which are merits in PI controller. In order to use microprocessor for digital control the principles of sliding mode control conventionally explained in continous-time system are extended to discrete-time system.

  • The conventional PI controller are fragile in parameter variation and load-variation. Therefore, in this paper, a speed control algorithm based on the Fuzzy PI controller is proposed for the high performance speed control of a voltage-source inverter to drive 3-phase induction motors. The computer simulation results show that the proposed controller are more excellent control characteristics than conventional PI controller in transient-state and steady-state response.

  • Stabilization of Power systems is investigated using a proportional-integral power system stabilizer(PI PSS). Time division PI PSS is examined in this paper. Two approaches are presented for determining the optimal stabilizer gains of the proposed PI PSS. Simulation results show that the proposed PI PSS yields better system dynamic performance and stability than the sub-optimal stabilizer in the sense of having greater damping in response to a step disturbance.

  • We studied the nematic liquid crystal (NLC) alignment capability with a new alignment method utilizing an inkjet printed polyimide (PI) layer. A good, uniform LC alignment was achieved by the good PI printing using a new alignment method. The pretilt angle generated on the printed PI layer using the alignment method was almost the same as that on printed PI layer using rubbing alignment method. In addition, the good electro-optical performances of the new aligned twisted nematic (TN) cell with printed PI surface was obtained
