청소년의 규칙적 아침식사를 위한 수면 관련 요인 분석 (Association between Regular Breakfast and Sleep-related Factors in Korean Adolescents)

  • Purpose: Breakfast is the most important meal to provide energy for the day. Breakfast is especially important to give enough nutritional support to children and adolescents for their physical growth and sexual development. Sleep-related factors like average sleep duration and wake up time would mostly be associated with regular breakfast. This study aimed to investigate the effect of sleep on regular breakfast consumption in Korean adolescents. Methods: The study used the data from the 12th Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey (KYRBS-XII) conducted in 2016 by the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The data of 62,820 subjects (middle/high school students) were included in the final analysis. The study examined the factors related to regular breakfast, focusing on weekday average sleep duration and wake up time of middle school students and high school students, respectively. Results: Regular breakfast consumption was shown to have a statistically significant association with high economic status, nutritional education, weekday average sleep duration, wake up time, and subjective sleep satisfaction in the multivariate logistic regression. Regardless of the school level, regular breakfast consumption was significantly associated with early wake up time. As to the effect of weekday average sleep duration on regular breakfast consumption, it showed some different results depending on the school level. Conclusion: Regular breakfast consumption of Korean adolescents was related to weekday average sleep duration and wake up time. Having breakfast regularly was affected by both adequate weekday average sleep duration and early wake up time.

융복합을 활용한 지적장애 청소년의 복합트레이닝 운동강도가 렙틴, 성장호르몬, IGF-1 및 신체조성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Exercise Intensity in Complex Training on leptin, growth hormone, IGF-1, body composition in middle school with intellectual disability Through Convergence)

  • 본 연구는 8주간의 복합트레이닝 운동 강도가 지적장애 청소년의 렙틴, 성장호르몬, 인슐린유사성장요인-1(IGF-1), 신체조성에 미치는 영향을 비교 분석하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 연구의 대상은 경도 지적장애 청소년 총 26명으로 고강도운동 집단 9명, 중강도 운동 집단 9명, 저강도 운동집단 8명을 선정하였다. 복합 트레이닝 운동강도에 따른 차이를 비교하기 위해 트레이닝 처치 전 사전 값을 공변인으로 하고 각각의 운동 강도를 독립변인으로 하였으며, 렙틴, 성장호르몬, 인슐린유사성장요인-1, 신체조성에 대한 변화를 종속변인으로 하였다. 자료 분석은 공변량 분석을 실시하였으며, 효과크기 ${\eta}^2$(eta)를 산출하였다(p<.05). 분석된 자료를 통하여 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성장기에 있는 지적장애 청소년들에게 동일한 운동량이 주어졌을 때 운동 강도별에 따라 렙틴은 중강도에서 가장 많이 감소하고, 성장호르몬의 증가는 중강도에서 가장 많이 증가하며, IGF-1의 증가는 저강도에서 가장 많이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 신체조성에 있어 체지방량의 증가는 저강도가 가장 효과적이며, 체지방량의 감소는 중강도에서 가장 효과적이고, 골밀도의 증가는 저강도에서 가장 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 후속저인 연구에서는 성별, 개인별 운동수행 능력에 따른 구분을 통한 연구가 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

학교스포츠클럽 활동 참여와 초·중·고등학생의 인성, 학교생활만족도, 생활·학습태도의 관계: 체계적 문헌고찰 (Association of School Sport Club participation with Character, School Life Satisfaction, Life Attitude, and Educational Attitude among School Students in Korea: A Systematic Review)

  • 2007년부터 도입·시행되고 있는 학교스포츠클럽 정책은 학생들의 신체활동 부족에 따른 체력 저하 및 초·중·고등학교 학생들의 사회 문제를 완화시키기 위한 목적으로 학생들의 자율적인 신체활동을 통해 인성함양과 관련된 신체적·정서적·사회적 건강을 향상시킴으로써 학생뿐만 아니라 교사와 학부모의 높은 만족도를 얻고 있다고 보고되고 있다. 본 연구는 국내 초·중·고등학교 학생들의 학교스포츠클럽 활동 참여와 인성함양과의 관계를 알아보기 위하여 국내의 연구논문을 바탕으로 종합·분류하여 체계적으로 고찰하고, 향후 학교스포츠클럽 정책 추진에 있어 명확한 이론적 근거를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 국내 학술논문 데이터베이스를 통해 "학교스포츠클럽"으로 검색된 13편의 논문들을 선정하였다. 문헌고찰의 결과, 국내 초·중·고등학교 학생들의 학교스포츠클럽 활동 참여는 인성함양과 관련된 그들의 인성교육, 학교생활만족도, 생활 및 학습태도와 밀접한 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 논문의 결과는 교육부(2015)의 추진정책, 학교스포츠클럽 활동 참여의 만족도 조사와 일관성 있는 결과로 학교스포츠클럽 활동 참여는 학생들의 인성함양과 긍정적인 관련이 있으며, 향후 초·중·고등학교 학생들의 신체활동 증진을 위한 학교스포츠클럽 운영이 실제로 중요하고, 다양한 기회의 창출이 필요함을 보여준다.

학교특성에 따른 건강증진학교 평가 (Evaluation of Health Promoting School by School Characteristics)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to assess input for health promoting schools (HPS), and to evaluate HPS based on WHO's guidelines through school characteristics, and to identify the schools' need among six areas of HPS. Methods: A stratified and random cluster sampling design was used to obtain a cross-sectional sample. A total of 59 elementary, middle and high schools in Seoul and Gyeonggi areas were included, and 333 teachers (males 40.6%, females 59.4%) participated in this survey. A self-reported questionnaire consisted of ten items for input for HPS, 50 items for the evaluation of HPS and three items for the schools' needs among six areas of HPS. Data was analyzed through a t-test, ANOVA, and a Duncan test. Results: The mean score of input for HPS was 48.5 ($\pm$15.3). Elementary schools had higher mean scores of input than middle schools. The mean score of schools with a management committee was higher than those schools without it. The schools which had meetings on health issues had higher mean scores. The mean score for HPS was 76.8 ($\pm$9.4): the area of "School Physical Environment" had the highest score (80.0$\pm$10.9), and the area of "Community Relationships" had the lowest score (67.1$\pm$13.9). Elementary schools had higher mean scores of HPS than middle and high schools. The schools which had less than nine classes and more than 31 classes had higher mean scores. The mean scores of schools with less than 340 students and more than 1201 students had higher. The schools which had meetings on health issues had higher mean scores. The same results were found on six areas of HPS. The teachers responded that the areas of "School Health Policy", "The School Physical Environment", and "Health Service" should be supported among the six areas of HPS. Conclusion: Based on these results, more concerns and support for school health are necessary. Middle schools should give more regard on the development of HPS. For comprehensive school health promotion, all six areas of HPS should be equally supported.

한국 청소년의 신체활동, 좌식행동, 식이행동에 대한 가이드라인 실천 패턴 및 상호관련성 (Patterns and Interrelationships for Meeting Guidelines of Physical Activity, Sedentary, and Dietary Behavior in Korean Adolescents)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the patterns and the interrelationships for meeting guidelines of three health behaviors including physical activity(PA), sedentary behavior(SB), and dietary behavior(DB) for Korean adolescents using 2007 KYRBS(Korea Youth Risk Behavior Survey) data. A cross-sectional design was used to assess 73392 middle-high school students. PA(moderate physical activity${\geqq}$5times/week, or vigorous ${\geqq}$3times/week), SB(watching TV, computer, DVD, video, etc. < 3 hr/day), and DB(servings of fruits ${\geqq}$1 times/day, or vegetables ${\geqq}$ 3 times/day) were categorized into two levels (meeting guidelines or not). Chi-squared tests were conducted to compare the prevalence of students not meeting these three health behaviors between boys and girls, and logistic linear regression was used to determine the interrelationships of three health behaviors. Students meeting guidelines for PA, SB, and DB were 31.0%(boys 42.6%, girls 18.0%), 74.7%(boys 75.4%, girls 74.0%), and 38.5%(boys 38.6%, girls 38.4%), respectively. In addition, there were significant differences between both genders for PA and SB (PA; $x^2(1)$=35175.11, p<.0001, SB; $x^2(1)$=19.44, p<.0001). Only 10.9% of students met all three guidelines and 12.4% did not meet all three. Pattern that simultaneously did not meet PA and DB were high in both boys(27.1%) and girls(37.2%). Students who did not meet DB were at greater risk of not meeting PA(Boys; OR 1.49, 95% CI 1.43 to 1.55, Girls; OR 1.42, 95% CI 1.34 to 1.50), and not meeting SB(Boys; OR 1.41, 95% CI 1.34 to 1.48, Girls; OR 1.36, 95% CI 1.29 to 1.43) compared with students who met DB. The findings of this study supported further evidence for the need of a multiple behavior approach considering gender and interrelationships among three behaviors.

Conjugated linoleic acid의 비만 남자중학생 체지방 감소와 운동력 증진효과 (Effects of Conjugated Linoleic Acid on Body Fat Reduction and Physical Exercise Enhancement of Obese Male Middle School Students)

  • 남자 중학생에 대한 conjugated linoleic acid (CLA)의 체지방감소, 동맥경화 지표 개선 및 신체활력개선 효과를 연구하였다. 체지방율이 30% 이상 인 건강한 남자 중학생 희망자 24명을 CLA섭취군과 대조군(placebo)으로 무작위로 나누고 CLA (하루에 2회, 총 6 g)와 placebo를 이중맹검법으로 총 12주간 처리하였다. 실험전과 마지막에 인체구성, 혈중 지질조성 및 운동력을 조사하였다. CLA는 체지방과 body mass index (BMI)를 유의성 있게 감소시켰지만, placebo는 효과가 없었다. CLA는 low-density lipoprotein (LDL)-cholesterol, total cholesterol 및 tryglyceride를 유의성 있게 낮추었고, high-density lipoprotein (HDL)-cholesterol는 증가시켰다. 운동능력인 trunk flexion, closed-eyes foot balance, standing long jump, shuttle run 및 sit-up를 향상시켰다. 이 결과는 CLA가 체지방을 감소시키고, 동맥경화 및 인체활동능력을 개선할 수 있어 비만 청소년의 체력을 관리하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

인지갈등 상황 제시유형에 따른 고등학생들의 역학 개념 변화 (The Change of High School Students' Mechanics Conceptions by the Types of Cognitive Conflict Situations)

  • 학생들의 개념 변화을 촉진하기 위하여 인지갈등상황을 제시하는 것이 필요하다는 주장이 여러 연구자들에 의하여 제기 되어왔다. 본 연구자들은 문헌 분석을 통하여 인지갈등을 유발할 수 있는 상황은 크게 세가지로 구분할 수 있었다. 이 연구의 목적은 이들 세가지 상황이 학생들의 과학개념 변화에 미치는 영향의 차이를 알아보는 것이었다. 연구 대상으로 참여한 학생은 경기도 소재의 인문 고등학교 2학년 72명이다. 갈등상황으로 체험을 제시할 때 직접 실험할 수 있는 인원의 한계성 때문에 한 반에 26명씩 선정하였다. 먼저 역학의 중요 개념에 대한 여섯 가지 문항을 이용하여 학생들의 사전 개념을 조사한 후, 갈등상황을 현상, 논리, 체험 등 3가지로 나누어 제시하고 수업을 한 다음 사후 검사를 실시하였다. 개념 변화의 지속성을 보기 위해서 1주일 후와 1개월 후에 같은 문항으로 검사를 실시하였다. 이 검사 결과를 바탕으로 각 문항별 응답 유형을 분석하여 학생들의 개념이 과학적으로 변화하였는지 조사하였다. 연구결과, 각 문항에서 과학적 개념으로 변화되는 학생 수는 체험제시 집단이 다른 두 집단에 비하여 많았으며 그 다음은 현상제시 집단이었다. 제시 특성별로 보면, 근운동을 통한 강한 체험이 가능한 문항에서는 체험제시의 효과가 높게 나타났으며 다른 문항들에서도 체험이나 시각적으로 명확하게 관찰이 가능한 정도에 따라 논리제시에 비하여 체험제시와 현상제시가 개념변화에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 학생들의 과학개념 변화를 위해서는 개념특성에 맞는 적절한 갈등상황을 제시해야 한다고 본다. 또한, 효과적인 개념 변화를 위해 갈등상황을 제시할 때, 모든 문항에 대해 현상이나 논리, 체험제시 중 어느 하나가 더 효과적이라고 구별하기보다는 문항의 종류와 갈등상황 제시의 특성, 학습자의 상태 등을 고려하여 제시해야 한다고 본다.

서울시 고등학생의 안전교육 실태 및 요구도 조사 (Needs Accessment of Safety Education of High School Students in Seoul)

  • Unexpected accidents in school has been gradually increased every year, and student's mistaken was the first reason of the accident. To preventing the students from Unexpected accidents in school, safety education is more important than having strong facilities to have much more strong protecting forces for the accidents. Therefore, systematic education of safety is needed most of all, and especially, strengthening safety education in school is needed. Hereby, this study is aimed at investigating and analysing the actual condition and demand of safety education. It also conducted a survey with the target of 1,255 students in the second grade of high school in Seoul from April 20 to May 19, and the result of this study is as follows. 1. In the general features of the subject of the survey, boy students and girl students occupied 50.8% and 49.2% each, and boys' high school (34.3%), girls' high school(32.2%) and co-ed(33.5%) participated in balance. In the location, north from Han river occupied 54.6%, south were 45.2%. 2. According to the status of experiencing an accident, boys were more experienced then girls(p〈0.05). From the section, home accident(56.8%) occupied most followed by school accident, traffic accident, sports accident and poisoning. The accident happening most often in detailed category is sports accident such as basket ball, foot ball and dodge ball. The actual condition of the subject's using a school health facility shows that boys students use it more often than girl students(p〈0.01) 3. In attitude toward safety, the subject showed lower interest in safety issues than other social issues. But attitude in seriality of safety problems were high. Also, they responded ‘individual citizen’(63.1%) as the one who should make efforts for safety. Regarding knowledge of preventing safety accidents in attitude toward individual safety, 42.2% answered ‘they know a little’ and 32.6% of respondents say ‘they do not know’. To a question of the degree of the subject's following safety rules, 36.4% were answered ‘keeping’ and the group using a school health facility shows more ‘keeping’ the others(p〈0.05). 4. To a question of asking if they have experienced safety education, 51.2% answered ‘yes’. Teachers who mainly take care of safety education are answered as training teacher(48.7%). As for education time, training class(51.3%) is said to have safety education most followed by health-related event and PE(Physical Education). Frequency of education shows once or twice a session (62.8%) most often, but in case of co-ed school, 5-7times a session or more(20.1%) are being practiced. Looking at education time, 1-2 hour(s)(22.1%) or for a short time(22.1%) during class are being practiced. As an education method, instruction(43.8%) and video education(32.5%) are being practiced, and when it comes to education evaluation method, ‘not practiced’(70.0%) answered. To the question if they are satisfied with school safety education, they answered more ‘no(43.1%)’ than ‘yes(6.7%)’, and the reason is that safety education class is just for formality's sake, and the fact they already know is being repeated. The contents of safety education is composed of school safety, home safety, and first aid. 5. It is turned out that 56.5% of the total boy students and 61.1% of the total girl students recognize the necessity of safety education. To the question if safety education is needed in an elementary and middle education course, 46.4% of the subject answer answered' it's necessary'. The most reason for their answers are ‘safety education is directly related to life’. 6. Regarding the requested time of safety education is ‘one hour a week’ by 55.9%. For safety education, safety education teachers(38.7%) are answered to be the most proper. As a request for safety education, video education is answered to be the most appropriate(30.6%), followed by practical skills, lecture and discussion(p〈0.05). Demand of educational evaluation, practical skills, interview and observation are answered to be needed. To the question if they want to participate in the way of demanded safety education, 41.9% of respondents answer ‘have a mind to participate in’ (41.9%). To benefits followed by completing safety education, 72.0% of respondents answer ‘agree’, and 24.7% ‘do not agree’, which means lout 4 disagrees with completing safety education. 7. Looking at demand of safety education according to the features of the subject, ‘our position for the person who has handicapped’ was answer to the most.

마이크로비트 기반의 창의 컴퓨팅 교육 프로그램 개발 (The Development of A Micro:bit-Based Creative Computing Education Program)

  • 소프트웨어 교육이 교육 현장에서 다루어지기 시작했지만 현장 교사가 활용할 수 있는 피지컬 컴퓨팅 교구 및 수업 가이드라인이 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 마이크로비트라는 피지컬 컴퓨팅 교구를 활용한 창의 컴퓨팅 교육 프로그램을 제시하였다. 교육 프로그램에 적용된 동시따응발(MDIAP) 교수학습모형은 동기 유발, 시연하기, 따라하기, 응용하기, 발표하기의 5단계로 구성되었다. 교수-학습 과정은 마이크로비트의 기본 센서와 추가적인 센서, 구동장치를 활용한 메이커 학습으로 구성하여 나선형으로 제시하였다. 이러한 일련의 교수 학습 활동을 통하여 학생들의 창의 컴퓨팅 사고력을 키울 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

부산시 교과교실제 운영 중학교의 창의환경특성 평가 연구 (An Evaluation Study of Creativity Environmental Characteristics on Middle School of Subject Classroom System in Busan)

  • The whole world is emphasizing 'creativity' as the core competence of the future society that global talents should have in the 21st century. Korea is also actively promoting the development of creative and convergent talents by recognizing these times and social needs. It is also required to improve the physical environment, which is an essential condition of education. As a result, the curriculum is being implemented as an institutional method for creative education since 2009, and there is a need for continuous research for effective operation of the curriculum system in relation to the establishment of the facilities of credit school system introduced from 2022 to be. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the indoor environment from the viewpoint of creative environment and to suggest the improvement direction for the improvement of the satisfaction of the education space for the students. The subjects of this study were three middle schools operated by the advanced classroom in Busan Metropolitan City. The results of this study were as follows; First, the satisfaction of autonomy and sociality was relatively high and the satisfaction of comfort was the lowest among the characteristics of creative environment. Second, it was found out that a priority should be given to ways to enhance sociality in space so as to support smooth communication and interaction between teachers, students, and students in the environmental plan for creative classroom classroom.
