결정질 실리콘 태양광 모듈의 Potential Induced Degradation 진단 분석

  • The potential induced degradation (PID) phenomenon of crystalline silicon photovoltaic (PV) modules has been often found in outdoor PV systems until recently since firstly reported in 2010. Many studies have been conducted about the mechanism and the preventive methods, but systematic diagnosis of the PID has not been applied on-site. This paper focuses on analysis of 5 categories and 10 PID diagnosis methods using the monitoring data, light current-voltage, dark current-voltage, infrared and electroluminescence. We expect to contribute to improvement of power generation through PID diagnosis and troubleshooting in PV plants.

Performance of Wind-Photovoltaic Hybrid Generation System

  • This paper reports the performance of Wind-PV(Photovoltaic) hybrid system. The output power of PV is affected by the environmental factors such as solar radiation and cell temperature. Also, the output power of wind system is generated with wind power. Integration of Wind and PV resources, which are generally complementary, usually reduce the capacity of the battery. This paper includes discussion on system reliability, power quality and effects of the randomness of the wind and the solar radiation on system design.

  • This paper proposes the integration of photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage systems for sustained power generation. In this proposed system, whenever the PV system cannot completely meet load demands, the super capacitor provides power to meet the remaining load. A power management strategy is designed for the proposed system to manage power flows between PV array systems and supercapacitors (SC). The main task of this study was to design PV systems with storage strategies including MPPT with direct control and an advanced DC-link controller and to analyze dynamic model proposed for a PV-SC hybrid power generation system. In this paper, the simulation models for the hybrid energy system are developed using Matlab/Simulink, SimPowerSystems and Matlab/Stateflow tool. This is the key innovative contribution of the research paper. The system performances are verified by carrying out simulation studies using practical load demand profile and real weather data.

  • Recently, because of the depletion of fossil fuels and the environmental pollution by using fossil fuels and harmfulness of atomic power plants. the interests concerning new and renewable energy resources are rising increasingly. And of all new and renewable energy sources the PV generation systems are recognized as the most useful and desirable renewable energy source in allowance for installation conditions. In this development, the 3kWp photovoltaic power generation system is realized to verify the performance of the 3kWp PCS developed by Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. (HHI). The photovoltaic array used in this system is composed of 60 modules of 50Wp capacity. The developed system is tested as procedures and items of test regulation recognized by governmen and the experimental results show the excellent electrical characteristics. Now, the 3kWp PCS developed is installed in the PV model house built in HHI plant and is being tested for practical use commercialization.

  • 계통연계형 태양광발전시스템을 PWM 쵸퍼와 전류형 인버터로 구성하였다. 전류형 인버터의 직류리액터를 경감하는 방법으로, 직류측에 병렬공진회로를 삽입함에 따라 맥동전력의 일부를 교류 전해콘덴서에 축적하여 직류전류의 맥동을 억제하는 방법과, 쵸퍼의 변조파를 전원주파수의 2배로 제어하여 직류전류의 맥동을 억제하는 것을 비교 검토하였다. 그리고 태양전지전류와 쵸퍼의 변조율만을 이용하여 태양전지가 항상 최대출력점에서 동작하도록 하였다. 계통과 연계함으로서 출력전력이 부하전력보다 큰 경우에는 잉영전력을 계통전원에 공급하고, 발전전력 부하전력에 대해 부족한 경우에는 계통전원이 부족분을 공급하는 것을 확인하였다.

  • Today, photovoltaic power generation mostly uses Si crystalline solar cell modules. The most vulnerable part of the Si solar cell module is that the power generation decreases due to the temperature rise. But, it is widely used because of low installation cost. In the solar market, where Si crystalline solar cell modules are widely used. The CPV (Concentrated Photovoltaic) module appeared in the solar market. The CPV module reduces the manufacturing cost of the solar cell by using non-Si in the solar cell. Also, there is an advantage that a rise in temperature does not cause a drop in power generation. But this requires high technology to install and has a disadvantage that the initial installation cost is expensive compared to normal Si solar cell module. So that we built a testbed to see these characteristics. The testbed was used to measure the amount of power generation in a long-term outdoor environment and compared with the general Si solar cell module.

  • Research on photovoltaic (PV) generation is taking a lot of attention due to its infinity and environment-friendliness with decrease of price per PV cell. While central inverters connect group of PV modules to utility grid in which maximum power point tracking (MPPT) for each module is difficult, micro inverter is attached on each module so that MPPT for individual modules can be easily achieved. Moreover, energy generation and consumption efficiency can be much improved by employing direct current (DC) distribution system. In this paper, a digitally controlled PV micro converter interfacing PV to DC distribution system is proposed. Boundary conduction mode (BCM) is utilized to achieve zero voltage switching (ZVS) of active switch and eliminate reverse recovery problem of passive switch. A 120W prototype boost PV micro converter is implemented to verify the feasibility and experimental results show higher than 98% efficiency at peak power and 97.29% of European efficiency.

  • The recent interest in distributed generation (DG) due to the opening of the electricity market and the need for alternatives to conventional fossil fuel-based electricity generation has created renewed interest in grid-connected photovoltaic(PV) systems. Many studies are being performed at the power system level to examine the impacts of grid-connected PV systems and several models for PV arrays have been proposed in the literature. However, the complexity of these models and difficulties of implementing them in various software programs can be deterrents to their use. This paper proposes a robust and flexible PV device model suitable for dynamic and transient studies where the PV array's non-linear DC characteristics are important. The model's implementation in software is straightforward and it can even be constructed using standard software library components, as demonstrated using PSCAD/EMTDC.

  • The government plans to deploy 100,000 photovoltaic system in residential houses by 2012. In this paper, I described how to design the Residence PV System and how to simulated which predict the efficiency of its electrical generation. AS comparing the simulated data and actual installed 3kW photovoltaic power generation system. I analyze the condition of the Residence PV system and suggest the best way to design in best condition.

단상 인버터를 이용한 새로운 태양광 에너지 변환 시스템 구현 (A New Solar Energy Conversion System Implemented Using Single Phase Inverter)

  • 본 논문은 새로운 태양광 에너지 변환 기술에 의한 연계형 단상 인버터 제어기술을 나타내었다. 최대전력 점 추적제어는 두 부스터 컨버터의 MOSFET 스위치 제어 발생회로에 기초하고 단상 인버터는 풀 브리지의 4개 IGBT 스위치에 의해 전류 추종제어 된다. PV 모듈의 발생전력 제어회로는 PV 모듈의 출력 전압, 전류 검출에 의해 최대전력 점 제어한다. 결국 PV 모듈 양단은 인버터 입력전압으로 낮은 리플 전압을 유지하고 출력은 증가한다. 제안한 태양광 인버터 시스템의 효과가 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 입증되었다.
