  • Endurance time is very important indicator to estimate muscle fatigue. In the case of measuring endurance time directly, it is dangerous for subject to perform a test until the point of failure to main time force. Therefore, this paper presents the model to estimate endirance time using indirect measurements such as personal factors and anthropometrical data. Previous studies had shown that personal factors such as gender and age were not related to endurance time, but recently studies have shown that it is estimated by using independent variable or predictor such as GTA (Gravitational Torque of the horizontal, stretched arm) and MVC (Maximum Voluntary Contraction). The present study investigated variables to estimate endurance time using personal factors and anthrometrical data during isotonic contractions. Twenty five healthy subject volunteered for this study, and performed three test sessions of isotonic contraction exercises at 10~50% respectively. Afterward the correlation coefficient and p-values were compared among regression models using personal factors and anthropometrical data. The results demonstrated that multi-regression model had significant coefficient of correlation, and was useful estimate endurance time.

  • Recently, the use of mobile payment, called "Pay" payment, is increasing such as 'KakaoPay' and 'SamsungPay'. In Korea, various mobile payment services are running and emerging. The purpose of this study is to examine the intention to switch from using existing credit cards or check card to mobile payment service based on the two-factor theory. We empirically examined the effect of the two factors, the factors that enable switching and the factors that inhibit switching. Therefore, the study use switching cost and switching benefit as parameters to confirm the effect on the switching intention. In addition, this study intends to analyze the differences between two subgroups by the degree of personal innovativeness. We survey smartphone users and credit card or check card users, and analyzed the Smart PLS 3.0 using structural equation model to verify the significance of the research hypothesis.

  • With much attention being paid to the rapid growth of wrist-worn smart devices, this study aimed to examine the micro-processes that determine an individual's adoption of smart bands and smartwatches. Primarily relying on the theoretical background of the extended technology acceptance model (TAM II), this study explored relationships between three groups of predictors-social, personal, and device-oriented-and the three main components of the original TAM: perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEOU), and behavioral intention (BI). Results from the path analysis indicated multiple factors played significant roles in increasing the PU, PEOU, and BI of wristworn smart devices: subjective norms, social image, self-efficacy, perceived service diversity, and perceived reasonable cost. The main findings from this research contribute to significantly improving the understanding of the main factors leading people to adopt wrist-worn smart devices.

  • This study was performed to find a way to correctly recognize the importance of health care information management majors by understanding the level of awareness of patient personal information protection. As a research method, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 458 college students majoring in health care information management from four four-year universities in Pusan. For analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test and ANOVA, Chi-square, and multiple regression analysis were performed. As a result of the study, the awareness of the personal information protection system was high at 68.8%. Factors affecting the level of knowledge on patient personal information protection in medical institutions were found to be high grades, awareness of the Personal Information Protection Act, and whether or not to receive education through major subjects. Therefore, it is necessary to learn about personal information protection through major subjects, and systematic education to be familiar with the patient 'personal information protection guidelines' that are actually applied to work in medical institutions will be required.
