Linking Social Capital, Knowledge Sharing/Conversion, and Organizational Performance in a Customer Service Organization

  • This study attempts to examine the importance of social capital in customer service organizations and clarifies how translates into organizational performance through knowledge management activities. A survey was conducted with the customer service employees, and 256 questionnaires were used for an empirical analysis with smart partial least squares (PLS). The analysis found that relational capital had a positive effect on both the knowledge management components of knowledge sharing and knowledge conversion, while structural capital significantly influenced knowledge sharing. In addition, human capital positively affected knowledge conversion. Both knowledge sharing and knowledge conversion significantly influenced organizational performance. This study proposed a conceptual framework of social capital that influences organizational performance mediated by an organization's knowledge management activities. Based on the results, we suggest practical guidelines for managing social capital and recommend areas of improvement for customer organization's managers and employees.

기업의 성과 제고를 위한 지식재산활동의 경영전략 연구 (Research on Management Strategies for Intellectual Property Activities to Improve Corporate Performance)

  • 본 연구 목적은 기업의 지식재산활동을 통한 경영성과를 제고할 수 있는 합리적인 경영전략을 제공하는 것이다. 이러한 연구를 통하여 변화하는 글로벌 환경에서 경쟁력을 강화할 수 있는 대응 방안을 모색하고자 한다. 2023년 9월 1일부터 10월 30일까지 200개 기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 통계분석은 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인 분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석, 차이분석을 실시하였다. 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지식재산활동에서 경영성과에 미치는 영향은 창출활동과 활용활동으로 나타났다. 둘째, 경영전략에서 경영성과에 미치는 영향은 차별화 전략, 원가우위 전략, 집중화 전략으로 나타났다. 셋째, 원가우위 전략은 지식재산활동의 창출활동과 경영성과의 관계에서 부분매개효과가 확인되었다. 넷째, 차별화 전략은 지식재산활동의 창출활동과 경영성과의 관계에서 부분매개효과가 확인되었다. 또한 차별화 전략은 지식재산활동의 활용활동과 성과의 영향관계에서 완전매개효과가 확인되었다. 다섯째, 집중화 전략은 지식재산활동의 활용활동과 경영성과의 관계에서 부분매개효과가 확인되었다. 여섯째, 벤처인증 여부에 따른 창출활동, 보호활동, 활용활동, 원가우위 전략, 차별화 전략, 재무성과, 비재무성과는 차이가 나타났다. 기술패권 시대에 지식재산의 중요성은 높아지고 있기 때문에 사물인터넷 기업의 미래 경쟁력 확보를 위해서는 기업의 벤처 인증과 지식재산을 활용한 전략으로 경영성과를 상승시켜야 할 것이다. 이러한 연구를 기반으로 사물인터넷 기업이 지식재산활동을 고려한 효율적인 전략 추진으로 성과가 극대화되길 기대한다.

지역아동센터 종사자의 사례관리 수행과 영향요인 (Case Management Performance of Community Child Center Workers' and Influential Factors)

  • Case management is becoming increasingly more important in the field of social welfare. The purpose of this study was to examine the practice of case management at community child centers and to identify factors influencing their performance. In addition, this study also analysed the performance level of case management at each stage and the factors influencing the level at each stage. For the purpose of this study, data obtained from about 181 community child center workers in Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongsangnamdo were analyzed. According to the results of the analysis, in Model 1 which represents the category of socio-demographic and personal factors, three factors namely gender, experience in case management, and interpersonal skills were found to be significantly influential and they have an explanatory power of 21.5%. Under the category of organizational factors in Model 2, four factors were found to be influential: experience in case management, interpersonal skills, availability of case management guidelines, and holding case conferences. These factors account for 33% explanatory power, 11.5% higher than that of Model 1. In Model 3 which represents the third category of community network literacy, three factors namely interpersonal skills, availability of case management guidelines, and ability to utilize networks were found to influence case management at community child centers, and they have an explanatory power of 43.4%, 10.4% higher than that of Model 2. For the practice of social welfare, these findings have the implication that community child center workers need to improve their interpersonal skills by cultivating communication skills, collaborative problem-solving skills, conflict-management skills, and other relevant skills. Furthermore, it is necessary to provide specific guidelines for case management, to have regular case conferences, to establish a community network, and to reinforce cooperation and mutual support among institutions within the network.

The Interplay between Comprehensive Use of Performance Management Systems and Corporate Financial and Non-Financial Performance: Evidence from Saudi Arabia

  • A significant body of prior research on performance management systems (PMSs) either explains the components and the design of the systems or investigates the link between particular system/s and organizational functions, capabilities, or performance. In contrast, this study investigates the comprehensive use of PMSs and relates them to corporate financial and non-financial performance. Further, this study examines whether the association between PMSs and performance varies between industries or is moderated by the size of the company. Data was collected using a questionnaire that was sent to companies from different industries operating in Riyadh province, where the most important businesses in Saudi Arabia are located. A total of 152 usable responses were received. The results of this study revealed that companies use a variety of PMSs at a balanced level. The extent of each category of PMS use is associated with the extent of other PMS categories' use. However, the larger the company, the more PMSs it uses. Importantly, the results showed a positive and significant association between PMSs' extent of use and both financial and non-financial performance. This association was minimally moderated by the company size and industry for specific categories of PMSs and performance.

도시 취업주부의 가계재무관리유형 및 관련변인 연구 (A Study of Urban Employed Wives무 Family Financial Management Type And It무s Related Variables)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate bases on the employed wives’family financial management types according to family financial management types according to family financial management project and performance. And it’s related variables will provide the basic information for the program which aids in the improvement of the employed wives’family financial management skills and family financial counseling. The major findings were as follows: 1) The total mean score of respondent’s family financial management was 3.54 out of 5. And the mean score of project and performance was respectively 3.42 and 3.62. 2) Among family financial management types, effective type, project-centered type, performance-centered type, ineffective type were respectively 38.7%, 16.4%, 13.2%, 31.7%. 3) The family financial management type of the employed wives was affected by information utilization the degree of communication, type of occupation, and job attitudes.

품질경영 핵심영역간의 상관관계연구 (A Studyon Relationship among the Key Dimensions of Quality Management)

  • A key aspect of theoretical and practical development of quality management is articulation of the distinction between quality management practices(input) and quality performance (output), which to date has been blurred under the broad heading of 'quality'. Recent literature primarily addressed measurement of quality performance but very little empirical research focuses specifically on quality management practices. In order to understand quality cause and effect, it is necessary to specify and measure quality management practices (cause) as well as quality performance (effect). This paper identifies and substantiates the key areas of quality management that must be implemented to achieve effective quality management, then analyzes relationships among those areas. In doing so, it establishes the basis for subsequent research by producing a profile of organization-wide quality manage-ment and provides the direction and priority of quality management practices for practitioners.

  • Quality management activities are an important factor that they could be regarded as a most significant drive to prompt growth of a corporation. From this research as core strategy of the enterprise single ppm wants to emphasize the importance of the quality management activity. The Empirical results are summarized as follows, for successful Single PPM, leadership and corporate culture should be based on. As Single PPM activities factor, Customer Management significantly affects Single PPM Performance. Therefore, to the success of quality management activities, internal corporate leadership and corporate culture must be formed. And for customer management, should take advantage of a variety of the company's internal and external information strategically.

전략적 인적자원관리가 혁신행동과 조직성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Strategic Human Resource Management on Innovation Behavior and Organizational Performance)

  • 본 연구는 중소기업에서 조직구성원들이 지각하고 있는 전략적 인적자원관리가 조직성과와 혁신행동에 미치는 영향관계와 전략적 인적자원관리와 조직성과의 관계에서 혁신행동의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 통계프로그램 SPSS 21.0프로그램을 활용하여 검증하였다. 첫째, 가설1인 전략적 인적자원관리(채용과 보상, 직무설계, 교육훈련과 경력관리, 의사결정 참여)는 조직성과에 정(+)의 영향관계에 대한 검증결과 긍정적 영향관계를 나타내어 가설 1은 채택이 되었다. 둘째, 전략적 인적자원관리(채용과 보상, 직무설계, 교육훈련과 경력관리, 의사결정 참여)는 혁신행동에 정(+)의 영향관계에 대한 가설 2를 검증한 결과 통계적으로 유의하게 나타내어 가설 2는 채택이 되었다. 셋째, 가설 3인 조직구성원들이 지각하고 있는 혁신행동은 조직성과에 유의한 정(+)의 영향관계를 나타낸 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 가설 3은 채택이 되었다. 넷째, 가설 4인 전략적 인적자원관리와 조직성과 간의 영향관계에서 혁신행동의 매개효과를 검증한 결과 혁신행동은 부분매개를 하는 것으로 분석되었다. 즉, 조직구성원의 전략적 인적자원관리는 조직성과에 직접적인 영향을 미치지만, 자신의 직무수행에 있어 혁신행동을 거치면서 조직성과에 더욱 더 높은 긍정적인 영향관계를 나타낼 수 있다는 의미이다.

침구점포 경영에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A study on management performance factors of bedding stores)

  • 침구점포 경영성과 요인을 발굴하여 향후 침구점포 예비창업자와 침구회사의 신규점포상담, 개설시 통계적으로 유용한 자료로 사용함으로서 기존보다 정확하게 경영성과를 예측하는 도구와 기준을 제시하고자 한다. 첫째, 경영성과에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 요인으로는 입지 및 상권으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 침구점포의 경영성과 요인의 중요도는 입지, 소비자, 경쟁 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 입지요인에서는 '침구점포 주변은 유동인구 다(多), 소비자요인에서는 거주 인구수 다(多), 경재요인에서는 상품 품질 우수가 가장 중요한 변수로 나타났다.

학습전이와 상사 리더십의 효과적 팀 성과를 위한 모델 개발의 실증적 연구 (An Empirical study into the relationship of team performance and learning transfer influenced by leadership types)

  • In order to promote social responsibility, a company reads to engage in various activities to increase their competitiveness to ensure stable and continuous development. One of the activities is to input human/material resources in order to draw and develop the core abilities of member for the productivity improvement of the company. This study is concerned with capability improvement of members in relation to core company performance, the focus of the study is to identify how education training in a company may contribute to team performance by leaning transfer through empirical study. As a result of this study, it was found that the personality of members, as well as the training programs, within the company can be a significant factor for improving productivity and performance of the company. In addition, team members noted that learning transfer take place when effectively lead through the leadership of a boss and identified that this leadership ultimately has a significant effect on team performance.
