  • Recently, many of organizations build up their performance measurement system (PMS) to measure their knowledge management performance. However, the system that doesn't well reflect the organization's strategies as well as surroundings could obstruct their performance improvement, instead. Therefore, It is really important to establish the PMS to reflect organization's surroundings and strategies. The purpose of this study is to make a diagnosis of a performance measurement practice of a domestic university's knowledge management. To serve this research purpose, we examine the uptight performance index and PMS from existing references. And we diagnose the specific practices and maturity rates of measuring performances, and the recognition of the performance index at "D" university recently adopting balanced scorecard to performance evaluation through the survey on academic affairs committee members, performance evaluation committee members, and administration members. The method analyzing data from the survey is a gap analysis which includes alignment analysis, congruence analysis, consensus analysis, and confusion analysis. We make a diagnosis of performance measurement practices at "D" university, raise several points of this performance measurement system, and present the improvement plans from these problems.

  • We could not find researches for relationship between safety performance and business performance in comparison with other research areas. Then in this paper we suggest the hypotheses which can systematically explain the relationship between safety performance and business performance and analyze the effects of safety performance on business performance through regression analysis. In order to develop the regression model between safety performance and business performance, the previous studies both for environmental management and for quality management had been reviewed. We obtained the result that the number of the injured persons in occupational accident and the number of lost work day because of the accident which are selected as measurement for safety performance had an effect on business performance through empirical analysis both for large 43 enterprises and for small and medium 30 enterprises. Also we had found that the control variables selectively 3had an effect on business performance. Finally, we concluded that the safety performance had an effect on business performance both for large enterprise and for small and medium enterprise.

  • The purpose of this study is that analyzing the causal relationship between Infra, Process and Performance of companies which are executing the Supply Chain Quality Management(SCQM) with their subcontractors and partners. Korean Standards Association(KSA) provides the Supply Chain Quality Management Model and Quality Collaboration Index for 4 years, but a few study has investigated the critical variables and their causal relationship to organizational performance. Therefore we examine the SCQM model and related index and choose the quality, human resource and risk management processes for identifying the path to organizational performance. In addition, exploratory factor analysis is conducted for figuring out the major factors among the 3 processes. Structural Equation Model are successively used for determining which characteristics of the infra and processes are the most critical variables to performance. The data was collected from KSA and composed of 52 companies and 346 their partners. The result shows that risk management process has no significant effect on the organizational performance and pre-production process collaboration.

  • This study focused on analyzing the difference in the impact of non-financial performance, specifically ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) activity grade level, on management performance and corporate value among the 25 fashion companies listed on the Korea Exchange that completed their ESG evaluation in 2022. The companies were categorized into three levels based on their ESG evaluations: ESG Integrated Grade (ESG-T), ESG-E (Environmental), ESG-S (Social), and ESG-G (Governance). The study then empirically analyzed how these levels affected management performance and corporate value. The empirical analysis revealed significant differences in the impact on management performance and corporate value depending on the ESG activity grade level. Companies with higher ESG grades exhibited better management performance and higher corporate values across all ESG sub-variables (ESG-T, ESG-E, ESG-S, ESG-G) compared to those with lower grades. This finding demonstrates the influence of ESG activity grade levels on improving management performance and enhancing corporate value in fashion companies. The results of this research provide meaningful insights into the direction of sustainable management through ESG activities in fashion companies.

  • Objectives : This study has analyzed the relationship between DEA efficiency of costs-patient revenues, productivity per value added and management performance in mental hospitals. Methods : The relationship between DEA efficiency of costs-patient revenues, the productivity per value added and management performance were conducted with correlation analysis and logistic regression. Results : The DEA efficiency of costs-patient revenues had a significant causal relationship with the value added ratio to gross revenue indexing productivity per value added. On the other hand, it was revealed that the operating margin indexing management performance had a slightly significant causal relation with DEA efficiency of costs-patient revenues. Conclusions : The material costs should be focused on the management stability of mental hospitals, and known to the desirable management orientation for the higher efficiency of costs-patient revenues.
