The present study investigates the seventh and the eighth graders' perception of Free Learning Semester Programs offered by libraries by developing a survey questionnaire on students' needs for Free Learning Semester Programs of Libraries. The skills that middle school students want to improve in Free Learning Semesters are career exploration skills, and the type of Free Learning Semester that is most intensively implemented is career exploration activities. Programs are often offered in the form of experiential classes. Regarding the activities that the students want to participate during Free Learning Semester, the most preferred activities included field experience activity in the career exploration domain, cooking class in the student choice program, smartphone app development in club activities, design activity in the art domain, the badminton in the physical education domain, and using iPad in the information use skills. In addition, among the library programs in coordination with Free Learning Semester, the students liked the occupational experience program most. Future studies need to include the development and implementation of Free Learning Semester Programs based on students' opinions, and investigate their satisfaction with the Free Learning Semester Programs offered by libraries.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between objective oral health status determined by dentists, self-perceived subjective oral health status, and oral health related quality of life (OHRQoL) in the elderly. The related factors affecting OHRQoL in the elderly were also surveyed. Four hundred and thirty elderly individuals who visited the three public health centers and four dental clinics in Busan were selected by convenience sampling. Twelve dental hygienists investigated the subjective oral health status and OHRQoL using the 14-item Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP-14) and twentyone dentists examined the objective oral health status, including healthy remaining teeth, treated remaining teeth, functional remaining teeth, missing teeth, and non-treated missing teeth. Data were analyzed using SPSS ver. 12.0. OHRQoL was higher when oral and periodontal status was perceived as healthy, when there was no toothache, no interference in mastication, and when study subjects had the ability of food softening. It was also higher when study subjects had ${\geq}20$ remaining teeth and <9 missing teeth, and were wearing denture. The related factors affecting OHRQoL of the elderly were the type of medical insurance, toothache, ability of food softening, perception of periodontal status, and the number of healthy remaining teeth. There was a significant relationship between the subjective-objective oral health status and OHRQoL in the elderly. A continuous oral health care system aimed at retaining ${\geq}20$ healthy remaining teeth is needed to improve oral health and OHRQoL for the elderly, especially for the elderly receiving medical aid.
Purposes: This study was to analyze the effects of organizational culture attributes on organizational effectiveness in newly established general hospital. Method: For this purpose, this study sampled 981 hospital employees working for E hospital opened on Apr. 1, 2019 in Seoul. A total of 981 questionnaires were distributed to them, and 888 ones responded to the survey, which had been conducted from Oct. 17, through Oct. 25, 2019. 793 responses were used for the final analysis. The data collected were processed using the SPSS 19.0K for descriptive statistics, T-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and regression analysis. Findings: First, The type of organizational culture perceived most by hospital employees was 'hierarchy-oriented' (3.53) followed by 'relation-oriented'(3.33), 'task-oriented'(3.23), 'innovation-oriented'(3.19) and job satisfaction scored 3.13, organizational commitment scored 3.28 on their order. Second, 'Relation-oriented', 'task-oriented' and 'innovation-oriented' was positively correlated with job satisfaction and organizational commitment. hierarchy-oriented' was negatively correlated with job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Third, Factors that significantly influencing on organizational effectiveness in a newly established general hospital were as follows. Factors influencing job satisfaction included 'innovation-oriented', 'relation-oriented' and factors influencing organizational commitment included 'relation-oriented', 'innovation-oriented' and age. Practical Implications: In order to increase the organizational effectiveness of the E-General Hospital, it is necessary to gradually move from a hierarchica l-oriented culture to an innovation-oriented and relationship-oriented culture. Since age also affects organizational commitment, it is necessary to promote stability and growth by promoting the mentor-menti system for new members with a low level of experience and experience.

The purpose of this study is to propose future-oriented high-rise buildings where the vehicle is parked at the top of the building. At the same time, the vehicle is used as a part of the building along with the advent of the era of autonomous driving. The suspended structure is proposed as a suitable structural system for architectural planning. This system is free to design because there are no limitations on column planning compared to conventional designs. In particular, the low-floor plan can be used as an open space because colums are not arranged in the lower-floors. Thereby opened low-floor plan has advantages that visual perception of the space is improved, noise problems along the side of the street is solved and planning underground parking spaces are easier. These advantages can solve the problem of overlapping columns with vehicle traffic in the building. However, there are some problems that the suspension structure is mainly a formal form and the usable area is small compared to the core area because it is a core-oriented structural system. In this regard, a new structural system was proposed by combining the concept of suspended structure and cable stayed column. Therefore, this paper analyzes the existing style of high-rise housing suspended Structure and proposes a new structural system and the concept of design for autonomous vehicles.
This study has developed an interactive WBI to enhance learning effects on 'the Moon motion' for middle-school students. The quality of this examined by applying it to 20 science teachers and 49 middle school students 49. As a result, over 85% of the test subjects gave an affirmative response in the interest induction, the curiosity solving, and the degree of learning participation category, the degree of difficulty item. Response of the students with negative perception on science have changed positively(p<.05) after this WBI learning. In addition, we compared the learners' of knowledge prior and subsequent to 'the Moon motion'. As a result, it was found that the case of 'no concept' was enhanced more than the case having 'partly or ambiguously concept' for 'the Moon motion'.
This study was carried out for 5 years between 1984 and 1986 and 1989 and 1990. This interviewers visited 292 households to evaluate the perception of the residents using .the. Simple Piped Water Supply (SPWS), and examined the pollution source surrounding 42 SPWS facilities and water quality by the chemical and microbiological method. The purpose of this study was to find out problems linked with SPWS and to investigate more efficient way of improvement in rural water supply. The results of the study are surmnarized as follows: 1) Approximately 55% of the sampled population have been served by simple piped water supply. 2) The drinking water was mostly taken from the springs in 16 sites and valley water in 26 sites. 3) Considering the type of distribution of the SPWS, there are 28 natural gravity systems and 14 pumping systems. 4) Out of the 180 SPWS in Chun Sung Area, 74% of the SPWS facilities were used more than ten years. In addition, 40% of residents expressed the need for repairs of old facilities. 5) 48% of the SPWS facilities are neighbored with pollution source. 6) 50% of the maintenance crews were not committed totheir job but instead, the facilities were operated by some residents or community leaders who were personally concerned about quality of the facilities. 7) About 85% of the residents answered that SPWS was convenient and helpful. 8) About 57% of the residents complaind that the amount of daily water supply is not adequate. 9) About 74% of the residents felt that the water quality is high for dringking water and therefore, 52% of the facilities were not properly chlorinated. But in contrast, the biochemical tests indicated that only 28% of the SPWS met the dringking water quality standards. 10) Maintenance cost per a household ranges form 500 to 2, 000Won (1 $ = 700 Won) a month. Most of the cost was to cover the power electric charge. For the effective maintenance and arrangement of the facilities, gorvermental financial support for the maintenance is strongly recommended.
The purpose of this study was to understand how consumers perceive the costs of couponing by coupon types and to suggest ways in which coupons should be developed to contribute to consumers' welfare. Costs/benefits of coupons as the most close antecedent variable included the following 8 constructs: searching costs, clipping costs, storing costs, extra expenses, substitution costs, pressure of holding, uncomfortable feelings, and regrets. Since it was hypothesized that the cost of couponing differs by coupon type, four coupon-types were examined: homepage coupon, E-mail coupon, DM coupon, and newspaper/magazine coupon. Data for this research were collected through 732 responses to a self-administered survey of consumers who had used all four types of coupons requesting participation from members of Internet survey firm. The conclusions of this research can be summarized as follows: (1) Women preferred off-line coupons but men preferred on-line coupons. In addition, consumers in Seoul were more familiar and satisfied with on-line coupons than consumers in other regions. (2) Among constructs of costs, consumers perceived regrets, pressure of holding, and substitution costs highly. Differently from previous studies, consumers perceived searching costs and clipping costs to be less important than other costs. (3) Storing costs, pressure of holding, and uncomfortable feelings were higher in off-line coupons, whereas clipping costs, extra expenses, and substitution costs were higher in on-line coupons. (4) In general, most constructs of costs in using homepage and newspaper/magazine coupons were higher than those of E-mail and DM coupons. (5) Cost perception was negatively related to coupon satisfaction at coupon, except newspaper/magazine coupon which was the least satisfactory coupon, regardless of costs (6) Consumers were more satisfied with direct-distribution coupons such as E-mail and DM coupons than public-distribution coupons such as homepage and newspaper/magazine coupons.
Individual lifestyle and eating habits have changed rapidly due to the evolution of society. Especially, climate change caused by industrialization has influenced society, with the result that today's consumers perceive sustainability to be an important value. The purposes of this study were to segment consumers on the basis of their food-related lifestyle and to explore climate-friendly food consumption behavior by considering factors such as moral intensity, propensity for disgust with meat as well as consumer characteristics. The results of this study were as follows: first, consumers were segmented into three groups(high involvement, low involvement, convenience oriented). Consumers in the high involvement group presented a higher level of moral intensity and climate-friendly food consumption behavior than the other groups. Furthermore, factors influencing the selection of climate-friendly food were found to differ according to the type of consumer. Consumers in the high involvement group were found to be significantly influenced by age, concentration of effect, the morality of eating meat and meat texture, while consumers in the low involvement were found to be significantly influenced by social consensus and the morality of eating meat. Finally, consumers in the convenience oriented group for food life were found to be significantly influenced by age, harm perception, and the morality of eating meat.
Objective : To investigate the sources, extent and related factors in South Korean doctors. Methods : The study subjects were 934 doctors in Taegu, Kyungpook Province, Korea(540 independent practitioners, 105 employed at hospitals and 289 residents in training). Information concerning job stress was obtained using a 9-item questionnaire. Information regarding related factors such as demographic characteristics(age, sex, marital status), perceptions on the socioeconomic status of doctors and working conditions(work time, on-call days per week) was also obtained by self-administered questionnaire during April and May, 2000. Results : Major sources of job stress included clnical responsibility/judgement factor, patient factor and work loading factor. The job stress score of residents was the highest among three groups. The score was lower in older doctors. The score was low among those who thought doctors' socioeconomic status was not good. The longer the work time, the higher the job stress score was. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to control for the mutual influence of independent variables. In regression analysis, the score of residents was higher than practitioners. Work time and socioeconomic status perception had negative effects on job stress score. Conclusion : The average job stress score of the doctors was high. Age, work type, working conditions and perceptions of socioeconomic status were found to besignificantly related to job stress score. Although the job stress of doctors is somewhat inevitable due to the nature of the doctor's job, control of work time, development of coping tools and other intervention methods are needed to reduce job stress of doctors. Further studies are required to understand the characteristics of iob stress and reduce the job stress of doctors.

Background The purpose of this study is to analyze the current attitudes toward professionalism, the core values, and the type of professionalism among plastic surgeons in Korea to establish a code of ethics regarding the role of professionalism for plastic and reconstructive surgeons. Methods From March 9, to July 1, 2012, face-to-face and mail surveys were conducted targeting the 325 participants (256 specialists and 69 residents) who are registered members of the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. The proportion of each response given to an item was obtained through statistical processing through frequency analysis. The Mann-Whitney U test was used to compare the differences in the responses between the resident group and the specialist group. Results The survey results on the perception of professionalism in plastic surgery showed that a high proportion (90.5%) of the respondents viewed the future of plastic surgeons as bright. Through evaluation of the importance of the value items,"professional dominance" (4.58 pts), "autonomy" (4.45 pts), "lifestyle" (4.34 pts), and "commercialism" (4.31 pts) were assessed as critical values. "Altruism" (3.84 pts), "interpersonal competence" (3.79 pts), and "social justice" (3.61 pts) were viewed as lesser values. This difference showed the characteristics of an entrepreneurial outlook. Conclusions Plastic surgeons should pursue excellence, humanism, accountability, and altruism in order to overcome the crisis of professionalism in plastic surgery. In order to develop the necessary competencies of professionals, vocational education should be arranged by the Korean Society of Plastic Surgeons, and an appropriate code of ethics should be established.
