This study was conducted on 54 freshmen of the department of dental technology in D University to examine the effect of dental morphological practice mobile application utilization on the students' perception of class and satisfaction with learning. Major results of the study showed that satisfaction and utility towards functions of mobile application strengthened positive perception of dental morphology class, leading to improvement of satisfaction with learning, which suggested that functional convenience and utility in the use of applications were the effective factors for increasing the satisfaction with learning. Those results need to be given important consideration in designing the class using the mobile applications.

This study was conducted to identify factors influencing weight loss efforts in hypertensive patients with obesity in Korea using data from the 2016-2019 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. Weight perception, weight loss efforts, and weight control methods were investigated for 1,910 subjects. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, cross-tabulation analysis and logistic regression. Among obese hypertensive patients, 12.6% perceived their weight as normal. Weight loss efforts were 2.03 times (95% CI: 1.48 to 2.78) higher in people with overweight perception than those with normal weight perception, and 1.74 times (95% CI: 1.33 to 2.26) higher in women than in men. In addition, those with class 1 obesity were 1.50 times (95% CI: 0.85 to 2.65) higher than those with class 3 obesity, and those with class 2 obesity were 2.16 times (95% CI: 1.16 to 4.00) higher than those with class 3 obesity. These results suggest that weight management approaches for hypertensive patients with obesity should be individually designed according to weight perception, gender, and obesity class.
This study aims to identify prospective elementary school teachers' perception of mathematical modeling in elementary class. Forty elementary school teachers participated in this study. Each teacher analysed the previous case studies about mathematical modeling in elementary class, developed a hypothetical learning trajectory, applied the hypothetical learning trajectory to his/her class, reflected students' learning and his/her teaching, and made reflective journals. These journals contained teachers' perception of mathematical modeling and the difficulties that teachers experienced in teaching mathematics as mathematical modeling. These journals were analyzed to identify teachers' perception of mathematical modeling in elementary class. This study shows that teachers have common features of mathematical modeling but their perspectives are little bit different, are classified into four kinds. And the difficulties that teachers experienced in teaching mathematics as mathematical modeling are classified into 5 categories; Task, Students' cognitive demand, Teacher' monitering, All students' participation, and Classroom culture. At last, suggestions for mathematical modeling in elementary class are done according to the result of this study.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of small inquiry method on space perception ability and creative personality. Testees of this research are 36 elementary pre-service teachers taking an astronomical observation class. Doing inquiry activity after 36 elementary pre-service teachers are classified into 6 Jigsaw small inquiry. Learning activity was split into two groups, expert group and a population. To find out research outcome, pre-test was executed space perception ability test, creative personality test. Analysis of test result was accomplished with statistical package SPSS 18.0 paired t testing hypothesis. The results of this study are as follows. First, 'source of season change' class using Jigsaw small inquiry method has effect on space perception ability improvement. This was interpreted that space perception ability improvement was effective because characteristic of Jigsaw small inquiry is made up of lots of semin Second, 'source of season change' class using Jigsaw small inquiry method has no effect on creative personality. This was interpreted that experiment and discussion activity getting accomplished in a short time has no effect on qualitative characterizing Creative Personality improvement.

The purpose of this study was to help teachers increase the level of student's school life satisfaction by comparing between the practical data of a group which have an accordant perception for class teacher's discipline style perceived by between teacher him/herself and student with another group which have a discordant perception for class teacher's discipline style perceived by between teacher him/herself and student. For this study, 1460 second grade special high school students in Pusan were selected. And 1273 students and 56 teachers' questionnaires were used for analysis, while 5 questionnaires went uncompleted. T-test and Multiple Regression Analysis were used for compiling statistics of collected data. The results of this study are as follows: First, perceptions about the teacher's discipline style perceived by between teacher him/herself and student were different. Second, the levels of student's school life satisfactions were different by two group. A group which has an accordant perception for class teacher's discipline style perceived by teacher him/herself and student shows the high level of school life satisfaction than B group which has an discordant perception. Last, class teacher's discipline style which affects the level of student's school life satisfaction was different by the two group. These results suggest that to increase the level of student's school life satisfaction, class teachers have to a mutual understanding first, and then approach their students with different discipline style by the level of their interactive relationship with their students.

This study intended to identify different level of teacher-efficacy, perception of principals' leadership and peer collaboration as it pertains to a teachers' job stress and job satisfaction in Elementary school. Samples include 1,031 teachers in elementary school from Korean Children & Youth Panel Survey(KCYPS) and data were analyzed using Latent Class Analysis(LCA) to identify different patterns of teacher-efficacy and perception of principals' leadership and peer collaboration. Multivariate analysis of variance were employed to identify the influence of predictors for classification of teachers' job stress and job satisfaction among latent classes. The study found three latent classes at risk class, middle-level adaptive class, and adaptive class and results showed that each distinctive class can be identified by some of predictors. Teachers at adaptive class showed higher teacher-efficacy and positive perception of principals' leadership and peer collaboration than teachers at risk and middle-level adaptive class. Also, teachers at adaptive class showed lower job stress and higher job satisfaction than teachers at two other classes. For this purpose of the study, the survey including the open-ended questions were conducted to the 147 students in college of engineering in 2021 at one of the universities located in the metropolitan area. The survey were analyzed by SPSS 26.0 and then findings were as follows. First, while the most students were satisfied with the operation of online classes that were implemented in response to COVID-19, many students were unsatisfied with the practice-focused online class. Also, there were some differences in the level of students' satisfaction for some factors of online class operation in terms of the students' background. Second, there were significant differences in some parts of students' satisfaction in terms of the background of students. specifically, males students were more satisfied with the supports of teaching assistant in online classes than female students and the junior and senior levels of students are more satisfied with the teaching strategies of online classes than freshman and sophomore year students. Third, the level of students' satisfaction was different in terms of the types of online platforms as well as the methods of communication between students and professors. Finally, even though the students in the college of engineering understand the benefits in the online classes, they indicated the limitations and difficulties for participating in practice-focused online class and demanded the improvement of the operation for the online lab classes. The further research needs to be conducted to investigate the status of operation for online lab and practice classes in college of engineering.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of convergence gifted students through the their perception of the differences about scientists between Science class and Convergence class in gifted science education center. Consequently, this article reports that there are differences in the perception about scientists was distinction between applicants of Convergence and Science class. Science class applicants mainly recognized scientists as pure scientists, but Convergence class applicants recognized scientist were including mathematician, artist, architect, etc. Also Convergence class applicants thought that affective domain including 'effort', 'patience', 'interest' was more important that Science class applicants. On the other hand, when they described the scientists, Science class applicants knew their achievements as scientists more specifically than Convergence class. And to conclude, the characteristics were different between Convergence and Science class applicants in gifted science education center. Based on the result of this study, this paper suggests the following: Firstly, conceptual study is urgent about convergence gifted students in their definition and characteristics. Secondly, information regarding the criteria to select student for convergence class in gifted science education center. Finally, when teaching convergence gifted students, attention should be paid to their characteristics such affective domain.
