  • Purpose - Due to the Covic-19 pandemic, the perceived value of video conferencing platforms has been increased drastically. However, there is little guidance on how service providers can improve video conferencing platforms. The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that influence the users' perceived value of video conferencing services based on the heuristic-systematic model and the value-based adoption model. Design/Methodology/Approach - In this paper, we theoretically explore the relationship of the antecedents of perceived value(credibility, expertise, attractiveness, economic feasibility, security, and interactivity) and its outcomes (perceived usefulness, perceived risk and perceived value). The outcomes of this research is a conceptualization of antecedents of perceived value supported by research hypothesis based on the existing literature. A total of 100 valid questionnaires were collected to empirically test the research model. Findings - The analysis results showed that credibility, economic feasibility, and interactivity positively influenced perceived usefulness. On the other hand, credibility, professionalism and interactivity negatively influenced perceived risk. Perceived usefulness positively affects perceived value and perceived risk has a negative effect on perceived value. The brand image as a moderating variable was found to decrease the effect of perceived risk on perceived value. Research Implications - The contribution of this study is significant for video conferencing providers as follows. First, a service provider can actively utilize influencers or referees with high credibility and expertise to maximize the perceived usefulness of users. Second, economic feasibility should be ensured in respect of users through various alliance discount strategies. Third, a video conferencing service company needs to build a positive brand image in order to increase users' perceived value.

Results - First, perceived economic value has a positive impact on personal self-congruity and social self-congruity but has no effect on brand attitude. Second, perceived functional value has a positive impact on personal self-congruity, social self-congruity, and brand attitude. Third, based on this, perceived economic value is not directly related to brand attitude. However, there is a relationship between perceived functional value and brand attitude, with personal self-congruity and social self-congruity having mediation effects. Conclusions - The Results show that perceived economic and functional value such as competitive airfare, mileage membership, check-in processes, diversified vouchers and coupons, and also basic services such as flight security and flight attendant service having an effect on personal self-congruity. To improve consumer brand attitude, airlines should take into consideration personal self-congruity factors such as their values and lifestyles, and their social self-congruity factors such as their social status and social security.

  • This study classified five types of online food subscription economy: replenishment, curation, surprise, membership, and visitation. An online survey was conducted with 314 customers who experienced 5 types of online subscription economy. This study selected the characteristics of the food subscription economy as convenience, perceived personalization, economic utility, and timeliness through previous studies. The effect of the four characteristics on perceived value (utilitarian and emotional) and the relationship between customer engagement and perceived value, which are dependent variables that have never been used in the food subscription economy, were verified through the S-O-R model. In this relationship, we demonstrated how consumers' personal tendencies, such as need for cognitive closure and self-efficacy, mediate between timeliness and perceived value related to online food delivery. The study results are as follows. Perceived personalization, convenience, and timeliness had a positive effect on the utilitarian value in the order. It also had a positive effect on emotional values in the order of perceived personalization and timeliness. On the other hand, economic utility had no significant effect on practical branches. Customer engagement had a positive effect in the order of emotional value and utilitarian value. The lower the need for cognitive closure the more positive the utilitarian value. The lower the self-efficacy, the more positive the emotional value was perceived. Through the above study, companies that want to operate or start an online food subscription economy need a strategic approach rather than unreasonable price discounts in pricing policy. In addition, it is necessary to focus on marketing activities that provide emotional value by focusing on perceived personalization, which is the satisfaction factor of online food subscription.

Individuality was studied on the tendency to sensation seeking and novelty seeking, which is a tendency to take boredom sensitive to monotonous and repetitive daily routines, and novelty seeking refers to new information and stimuli. The hypothesis was that high sensation seeking and high novelty seeking would perceived emotional value, epistemic value, and economic value for a single person 's media content. Hypothesis testing was performed using multiple regression analysis using SPSS21. As a result of the hypothesis test, The novelty seeking has a positive effect on emotional value, epistemic value, and economic value. Users who want to explore and enjoy new things could perceived the emotional value of having fun, fun, and sadness through single-person content, perceived a epistemic value and enjoy new information and situations as a tool to recognize new stimuli and know what they didn't know. And it could be seen that users perceive the economic value that they can enjoy at low cost or free service. The sensation seeking has a significant effect on epistemic value, but it did not affect emotional value and economic value significantly. Those who have a high tendency to sensation seeking can perceive curiosity about one-person media contents, so that they can perceive epistemic value. However, those who feel that they have not significant influence on economic value and emotional value can easily understand that expecting one's content does not feel bored by paying for a low cost or free service.
