Method: The subjects were 157 middle aged women from 40s to 60s who lived in Seoul. Data was collected by questionnaire surveys using the convenience sampling. The instruments used for this study were Spielberger's trait anger scale and anger expression scale, Cohen, Kamarck, and Mermelstein's perceived stress and Derogatis's SCL-90-R. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, and Stepwise multiple regression with SAS/PC. Result: The trait anger of middle aged women indicated a significantly positive correlation to perceived stress(r=.180, p=.023) and mental health status(r.=021, p=.014). Anger-in(r=.237, p<.05), and perceived stress(p=.461, p<.01) showed significantly positive correlation to mental health status. The most significant predictor influencing health status of middle aged women was perceived stress, and anger-in and the variance explained was 27%. Conclusion: These results suggested that middle aged women with high degree of trait anger is likely to be high in stress perception. Methods: The subjects were 315 patients conveniently selected from public health centers in Gangwon province. Data were collected through a questionnaire (from January 10, 2013 to February 10, 2013) and analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan test and Pearson's correlation coefficient using the PASW statistics 18.0 program. Results: There were significant differences in health literacy according to age, marital status, monthly family income and education. In regard to disease-related knowledge, there were significant differences according to gender, marital status and monthly family income. There were positive correlations between health literacy and disease-related knowledge (r = .39, p = <.001), disease-related knowledge and compliance to medical recommendations (r = .28, p = <.001). However, there was no correlation between health literacy and compliance to medical recommendations. Conclusion: Health literacy and disease-related knowledge have a significantly positive correlation. Further studies are needed to confirm the effects of health literacy on chronic diseases.

Data were collected from 122 infection control nurses in January 2019. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent t-test, One-way ANOVA, Scheffé test, Pearson's correlation, and Multiple regression in SPSS/WIN 23.0. Participants' turnover intention was positively correlated with their role conflict (r=.46, p<.001), and negatively with job satisfaction r=-.21, p=.021). The role conflict (β=.43, p=.003), level of education (β=.29, p=.040), and job satisfaction (β=-.20, p=.013) was a significant predictor of the turnover intention (R2=.27). Therefore, it will have to be accompanied by institutional efforts to minimize role conflicts and improve job satisfaction. In addition, differentiated turnover strategies based on academic level should be developed.
