As newspapers which have been major news media are being replaced by on-line news media in recent years, many researchers are paying attention to "comments(news users' short remarks on an article)", a newly emerged way of forming public opinion. This study is examining how the similarity between political disposition of on-line news visitors and that of news media impacts upon their evaluation on quality of comments from the viewpoint of 'social identity theory.' This study may have academic significance because it inspected the pattern of media usage and the cognition of comments in relation to political disposition for the first time and showed 'comments reading' and the function of comments to form public opinion(comments journalism).

XML is a global standard for the Internet and e-business, and its use is growing in proportion to the spreading speed of e-Commerce. Thus, a policy for providing more safe security service for exchanging e-documents within e-Commerce is necessary. XKMS, one of XML security specification, defines the protocol for distributing and registering public keys for verifying electronic signatures and enciphering e-documents of e-Commerce applications with various and complicate functions. In this paper, we propose X-KISS service reference model and implement service component based on standard specification. Also describes the analysis and security of XML key information service for safe e-Commerce, paying attention to the features of XML based security service. This reference model supported include public key location by given identifier information, the binding of such keys to identifier information. The client service component controls the number of locate threads and validate threads to analyze the minimum requirements of real-time key retrievals. This service modeling offers the security construction guideline for future domestic e-business frameworks.

Schulz accepted the existentialist view based on Heidegger's thought and at the same time the objectivist view making fixed this living world, evoking controversies for discussion. He could not see various presentations of the meaning of place because he perceived elements of this world individually. Thus Schulz's mixed system of understanding is sternly different from Heidegger's thought. First, Heidegger suggests that place as existential space represents the occasion revelation of incidents in Dasein. While Schulz recognizes that place is a systematic space predetermined for Dasein. Second, Heidegger interprets the placeness as creative openness in which elements comprising this world face and interact with each other into one. In contrast, Schulz defines each of the elements through signification and regards it as invariable and static. Third, Heidegger perceives that the placeness is expressed with sustainable, complex images through "rift-design" which seeks dynamic interactions between the ground and the world. While Schulz attempts to take "Genius Loci" or "habituated scene" through "gathering" as a concept he regards static and then visualize such structural two factors, producing certain internal images of place. However, limits of Schulz's theory prevent us from exerting complete imagination and discovering the inner creative world of the object. Thus the ultimate goal of paying attention to the placeness, that is, the recovery of individual identity, fails due to the prevalence and abstraction of objectified thinking. In contrast, Heidegger's thought about "openness" is a useful means of realizing the placeness. Openness may be referred to a dynamic coordination in which the earth and the world sustain each other under incessant mutual tensions, but not sticking o each other. "Rift-design" is an openness strategy to cause tense relations by preventing structuralization intentively. This is a creative design that allows seeing original seams of the object.

Fashion and architecture essentially have structure to build space for a form of three dimensions. This study defines the form in which structure in itself becomes design as structural simplicity and investigates design paying attention to only structure. It is one of efforts in order to display new design required in the age of a flood of design and it is considered that before developing design through the fusion of architecture and fashion, understanding structure which is the most fundamental element to constitute the form of the two genres will be a groundwork to develop proper fusion design. This study elucidates similarities between architecture and fashion through literature review and investigates structure meant in architecture and fashion, and after that, collects corresponding examples through related literature and fashion information site. For structural simplicity in architecture, structure of a building in itself is a form and decoration at the same time, and it appears as a form of minimizing other elements and stressing the structure only. Structure in fashion means composition line which essentially exists to embody two dimensional materials onto three dimensional human body. As elements of geometric lines are creatively expressed by a designer in order to constitute three dimensional form from structural simplicity, they connote a variety of functions and exert decorative effects as well. And the shape of structure expressed like this is employed as a tool to show off the designer's techniques.

This study examines the changed information-gathering environment of these days has indeed changed the patterns of reporters in their information seeking efforts. For the study, two groups of reporters were surveyed. The first group consists of 9 senior-level reporters working for daily papers with 15 years or more of journalism career, the second group 11 junior reporters who have been in the industry for less than 10 years. The surveying of these reporters has indicated significant change in their patterns of information-seeking endeavor, the dominant trend changing from reporters' putting an emphasis on off-the record types of information through person-to-person contacts to their new focus on made-public information. The senior-level reporters, identify person-to-person contacts as most valuable sources for information and take meetings with their contacts as providing critical opportunities for information-gathering. On the other hand, this examination has found junior reporters to be spending more time in collecting made-public information and paying more attention to acquiring a higher level of professionalism and greater analytical abilities. In short, this study confirms the ever-rising importance of making available a wider range of information for reporters.

The world is paying attention to the South Korean government's aggressive COVID-19 response, key of which is transparency and openness in sharing information. Opening up government information is essential to enhancing its social and economic value through increased awareness and accessibility. The purpose of this study is to investigate the current status of SNS operated by national open data portals in which government-collected and -disclosed data is available and to suggest improvements for the use of open data portals. To do this, the study compared 3 national open data portals, each from India, U.S.A, and Korea, by performing quantitative analysis, user feedback analysis, time-series analysis, and information type analysis. Based on the identified information types and user needs, the study suggests concrete ways to facilitate the use of open data portals.

Currently most of leak detection monitoring systems use digital maps with paying royalties, and this increases the cost of system construction and financial burdens on local self-governing bodies that manage such systems. Moreover, they have inefficiencies in repair and maintenance, functional expansion, and compatibility with other systems. Thus, this study developed a waterworks pipe network monitoring system that pursues low cost and high efficiency using general-purpose maps on the Internet such as google maps. As this system uses highly compatible free maps, it costs less in construction and its hardware requirements are lower than existing systems, and consequently, overall monitoring performance is enhanced and the cost of construction goes down sharply. This study also proposed a method for pipeline DB construction, which can be started together with the construction of the monitoring system, in order to improve the field applicability of the system.

This paper investigates the formative features and the historical meaning of the Korean dress collection held in the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology in Cambridge. The Museum holds a total of eleven items of koran dresses that were donated by two anthropologists in the first half of the twentieth century. Male dresses consist of a white cotton jacket (Jeogori), a under-vest (Deungbaeja) made of light wisteria rings, a headband (Manggeon) made of horsehair, a broad brimmed top hat (Gat) made of black horsehair gauze, an oilskin cover (Galmo) drawn over the hat in wet weather, and a hemispherical hat box (Gatjib). Female dresses comprise a pink silk jacket (Jeogori), a blue silk skirt (Chima) with pleats, a pair of woman's white cotton trousers (Sokgot), a black silk cap (Jobawi) decorated with pink tassels and imitation pearls, and a pair of green and magenta silk shoes (Danghye) with leather soles and metal rivets. Theses Korean dresses show what the western anthropologists had interests in. When collectors collect the folk objects, they thought much of the specificity of shape and material, the esthetic appreciation, and the representation of daily life. In terms of the value as the historical materials in the history of Korean dress, the under-vest of wisteria, the hat box, and the female dresses are worth paying attention to. The under-vest is one that was produced in earlier time among the remaining under-vests. The hat box represents that the hat belonged to the merchant classes. The female dress items show daily dresses worn by women of higher classes of the society in the 1920s.

The globalization of the world, fueled by the Internet, made possible for individuals to access the cultures around the world, other than their own, easier than ever before. But among those rapidly sought out sub-cultures, the video gaming industry, once a niche market mostly for nerds and geeks, now has become one of the biggest entertainment businesses in the world. In a video game, one of the critical elements that could determine its success or failure is the characters featured in the game. And as the countless number of animated characters from many different video games from the past few years have become incredibly popular among the audiences around the world, the expectations from the fans also grow higher every time a new game comes out. Ultimately this has forced the video game developers to come up with more unique and interesting characters for their video games. And at this point, where a video game character is more than just fictional fantasy but a brand to be recognized, it is worth paying proper attention to the video game characters that represent Korea. Hence in this study, we will take a look at Han Ju-Ri, a Korean character featured in Super Street Fighter IV, a competitive fighting game developed by Capcom, one of the world's most recognized video game companies that started its life as an arcade video game, developer but eventually ventured its business into the online world. The study will propose a complete overhaul of the character by incorporating Korea's own traditional looks.

The Alibaba Company, founded by Mayun in 1997, captured no.1 position in the global electronic commerce industry in 2016. Logistics strategy and paying system of the firm have greatly contributed to its success. The study aims not only to investigate the entrepreneurship of Mayun to inspire Korean youths with it, but also to help Korean E Commerce industry with logistics strategy of the Alibaba Group. The study adopts the management history approach through a literature survey on life time story, management philosophy of Mayun. Results from a study on Ma Yun's entrepreneurship style showed certain key characteristics: a global mindset, marketing and advertising proficiency, patriotism, a challenging spirit, and creativity. Alibaba's logistics system has greatly contributed to the success of the company's E commerce trade so far. However, some things are left to be desired in the following areas: logistics management system, logistics contract unit price, competitiveness in warehousing compared to rival Chinese companies, and last mile delivery.
