This study has the objective of proposing the basic data for the political and administrative support needs so that the Echo generation can be prepared with the supper-aged society, by verifying the perception level and degree of necessity about the outplacement support service, whether they want to be serviced or not, and necessary contents in the service with the employed people and non-employed people as objects among the Echo generation in the Southeast region. The study result derived from these effort is illustrated as follows. The perception level of the Echo generation about outplacement support service showed to be significantly different according to the gender, age, industry type, and career. The degree of needs was significantly different depending on the age. For the provision period of the outplacement support service, the opinions were that 3 months before the retirement was most appropriate. The intention of participation when the outplacement support service is provided showed to be significantly different depending on the age.
This study analyzed the actual impact of central and local governments' startup mentoring programs on the entrepreneurship and early startup business performances of company owners and prospective owners. To analyze the participants' hidden intentions, literature review, in-depth interview, and focus group interview research methodologies were used consecutively. The following results were obtained. First, participants with higher expectations toward the mentoring programs tended to evaluate the programs more negatively, with a substantial number of interviewees responding that the quality of the programs was subpar. Second, startup mentoring programs seem to have had positive effects on building entrepreneurship. The effect was especially significant in areas such as creativeness and innovation. Third, the mentoring programs did not have a significant impact on business performance, suggesting the need for institutions' active participation in mentor-mentee relations and programs. Fourth, most participants evaluated mentoring programs as unsatisfactory, meaning that the programs do not meet the intention and purpose of the institutions providing them. Based on these analyses, the academic importance of this study was highlighted and ways startup mentoring programs can improve in the future were suggested.
Information systems that are not used cannot be useful. In order to increase user acceptance, it is necessary to understand why people accept or reject information systems. Technology Acceptance Model(TAM) is one of the most influential research models for studying determinants how users accept information systems. Recently, Knowledge Management Systems(KMS) have become important components of corporate systems as the foundation of industrialized economics has shifted from natural resources to knowledge assets. This paper applies TAM to investigate users' acceptance of KMS in public administration institutions. It sampled 182 users who had experience in using KMS. Many empirical researches have suggested that TAM can be integrated with other organizational theories to improve its predictive and explanatory ower. We extended the basic TAM by the integration of appraisal and reward satisfaction theory. There are many external variables that influence the perception and the belief of system users. We introduced two external variables(job characteristics, IT self-efficacy) and one additional perception variable, perceived appraisal and reward(PAR) in the basic TAM model. The LISREL model analysis is used for finding out the causality among variables and testing the model fitness. As result, The IT self-efficacy influences to the perceived ease of use(PEOU) and the PAR, and the PEOU influences directly to the perceived usefulness(PU), the PAR, and the attitude toward KMS. The KMS participation intention(PI) was influenced by the PAR and the attitude directly,andbythePEOUindirectly. Finally, this paper suggests some guidelines for the adoption of KMS in public sectors on the basis of the study results.
Service industries nowadays have become the subject of a scientific research. However, unlike research on manufacturing, there has not yet been a broader presentation of important aspects theoretically and methodologically. The importance of service sector in both national and global economies has grown significantly. An active participation of service industries in the internationalization process, notably by licensing and FDI, has occurred over time. But a few sub-sectors still dominate on this process, for example, financial institutions such as banks, securities, and insurance as well as producer services in advertising and accounting. On the other hand, personal services that are owned by small- and medium- sized firm have limited capabilities in their transnational transfer. This paper attempts to examine various factors influencing decisions for these small- and medium- sized Korean beauty firms in entering to the foreign markets. Determining factors for these firms in the engagement of internationalization depends largely on competitive advantages in both domestic and host countries, and they may be different from those in the sub-sectors mentioned above. Based on previous researches, i identified three categories of independent variables(characteristics of firms, managers, and competition) that can influence decisions to enter to the foreign markets. Seven hypotheses have been tested by using a sample of beauty firms in Daegu city and Kyungbuk province. The results show that the intention of these firms to enter to the foreign markets is significantly influenced by the factors of the innovative character of CEO's, the competitiveness of firms, and size of firms.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide basic data which is necessary for educating nursing and medical students for establishing a desirable sense of ethics values Method: In this descriptive research, a total of 140 nursing students and 124 medical students were selected. The tools used for data analysis were descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Scheffe test by using SPSS/WIN 12.0 version. Result: When the differences in the consciousness of biomedical ethics of nursing and medical students were compared, statistically significant differences were found in the category of brain death (t=-3.26, p=.001). Statistically significant differences were found in the general characteristics of religion (F=3.05, p=.018), and participation in religious activity (F=3.34, p=.006). Statistically significant differences were found in the characteristics related to the subjects' ethical values such as satisfaction level of a nurse/doctor (F=7.39, p=.000) occupation, the experience of A Patient's Bill of Rights (F=2.97, p=.020), the intention to attend biomedical ethics (F=5.61, p=.000), and the possibility of increasing ethical problems according to the development in the field of medical science (F=7.92, p=.000). Conclusion: An effort should be made to overcome the differences in the perception of biomedical ethics between nursing students and medical students. Moreover, when investigating the course of an integrated education for the establishment of a desirable sense of biomedical ethics, an alternative plan that could promote ethical values must be considered so that the significant variables can promote bioethical perception.
This study aims to investigate the effects of ethical consumption consciousness on the attitude of consumers toward purchasing recycled apparel and suggest guidelines to improve awareness and induce purchase on recycled and eco-friendly apparel. The following steps were taken: 1) examination of the status of consumer consciousness on recycled apparel and their usage 2) investigation of how ethical consumption consciousness affects purchase attitude of recycled apparel 3) finding out whether purchase experience of recycled apparel makes a difference in ethical consumption consciousness and purchase attitude. 311 males and females living in the Daegu region were used as subjects. Questionnaires were distributed for around 2 weeks for data collection. A total of 298 surveys were used for analysis due to the other thirteen being excluded for not having quality responses. Collected data were used to perform frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, descriptive, regression analysis by using SPSS 18.0 Korean version. Results are as follows: First, regarding the status of consumer consciousness on recycled apparel and their usage, respondents considered convenience as an important factor. On the contrary, factors such as usage, participation intention and positive attitude on recycled apparel were relatively high. Second, regarding how ethical consumption consciousness affects purchase attitude on recycled apparel, the analysis result showed that having consciousness for environmental protection and volunteering significantly affected purchase attitude toward recycled apparel whereas business ethics did not affect it. Third, the responses from the consumers with purchase experience of recycled apparel and consumers without it showed that being conscious of environmental protection significantly affected both groups.
The current study investigated the relationships between mathematical knowledge for teaching and the mathematical quality in instruction in order to gain insight about teacher education for secondary teachers in South Korea. We collected and analyzed twelve high school teachers' scores of the multiple-choice assessment for mathematical knowledge for teaching developed by the Measures of Effective Teaching project. Their instruction was video recorded and analyzed with the mathematical quality in instruction developed by the Learning Mathematics for Teaching project. We also interviewed the teachers about how they planned and assessed their instruction by themselves in order to gain information about their intention and interpretation about instruction. There was a statistically significant and positive association between the levels of mathematical knowledge for teaching and the mathematical quality in instruction. Among three dimensions of the mathematical quality in instruction, mathematical richness seemed most relevant to mathematical knowledge for teaching because subject matter knowledge plays an important role in mathematical knowledge for teaching. Furthermore, working with students and mathematics as well as students participation were critical to decide the quality of instruction. Based on these findings, the current study discussed offering opportunities to learn mathematical knowledge for teaching and philosophy about how teachers need to consider students in high schools particularly in terms of constructivism.
Purpose: 'The purpose of the present study was to understand students' experiences from their standpoint, to identify relevant variables and to examine into their relations by analyzing and describing what phenomenon 'nursing students' visiting ambulatory bathing service' is, what are the reasons for the phenomenon, and what interactions are in the phenomenon. Method: The subjects were thirteen students. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed by Strauss and Corbin's analysis method. Result: With regard to ambulatory bathing service, participants responded 'lack of education', 'inexperienced personal relations' and 'disappointment with recipients families'. They recognized 'burden' and 'compassion'. The intensity of generated 'burden' and 'compassion' was determined by volunteering persons, the degree of health care service, recipients' response and interaction of climate. When 'burden' and 'compassion' were generated, participants selected their own coping strategies. Strategies in the situation of 'burden' and 'compassion' were significantly influenced by 'burden' and 'compassion' and structural situation - 'mutual relation structure,' 'volunteers' capability,' 'the degree of volunteering guidance,' 'community participation,' 'recipients' environment,' 'information sharing,' 'special vehicle equipment' and 'economical burden.' Strategies include' service training,' 'receiving volunteering training,' 'preliminary service preparation,' 'volunteering.' 'connection to local medical center,' 'intention,' 'information sharing,' 'passive response to recipients' appreciation' and 'the understanding of publicity'. The results of selected 'burden' and 'compassion' are described with 'worthiness' and 'cohesion' as follows. Conclusion: This study is significantly meaningful in that it examined bathing service welfare in its initial stage. There are not much outcome from previous studies. However. it is meaningful that this study intended to develop theories on the nature of experiences and the relations among concepts derived from the visiting ambulatory bathing service process of nursing students. Professors who taught social volunteering in universities understood the experience of nursing students who did the visiting ambulatory bathing service. Consequently, professors will provide an effective instruction to enable these students to carry out visiting ambulatory bathing services efficiently in order to meet demands when they conduct the services. For the volunteering service activity in major-related fields among college students' social volunteering activities, they recognized the necessity of systematic education and preparation.
This study investigated the degree to which young children's mothers needed a parent education program on home safety, the preferred goals, contents, methods, and evaluation of a parent education program on home safety, and whether or not the needs for a parent education program on home safety varied according to mothers' age, education background, and job. This study also analyzed the experience of their participation in any parent education program on home safety and its effect according to mothers' age, education background, and job. The data were collected from 569 mothers of young children and analyzed by $X^2$ and F tests. A questionnaire was developed based on the research of Peterson and Mori (1985) and Jung et al. (1992). The conclusions of this study were as follows: 1. The majority (92.8%) of mothers recognized the need for a parent education program on home safety and 97.5% indicated an intention of participating in a parent education program on home safety. 2. Mothers rated the most important goal of a parent education program on home safety as protecting young children from injuries. Mothers in their 30's responded to the need for understanding of young children's development characteristics and safety guidance as the highest while mothers in their 20's responded methods of first aid the highest. 3. The preferred methods of a parent education program on home safety were activities or learning by experience and the preferred instructors were safety professionals majoring in child development and family studies or early childhood education. The preferred practice methods of a parent education program on home safety were 5 sessions, with 25-29 participants, at young children's institute, on weekday afternoons, for one and a half hours per session, and with evaluation through questionnaire. 4. Nearly half (44%) of mothers had participated in a parent education program on home safety during the previous 3 years and 77.6% of them responded that a parent education program on home safety was effective on their safety lives. Mothers in their 30's had more experiences of a parent education program for home safety more than mothers in their 20's.

Responded that 87.1% is right toothbrushing by oral disease preservative, and next time was on-time oral medical examination 79.4%, smoking resection 58.5%, sugar intake limitation 55.4% round. 4. Students, who oral health education by interest degree of oral health is interested in oral health, is oral health educational experience and the need rate, participation intention was high when educate.
