환형관내 유동에서의 항력감소를 위한 준최적 제어 (Suboptimal Control for Drag Reduction in Turbulent Pipe Flow)

  • A suboptimal control law in turbulent pipe flow is derived and tested. Two sensing variables ${\partial}p/{\partial}{\theta}\;|_w\;and\;{\partial}{\upsilon}_{\theta}/{\partial}r\;|_w$ are applied with two actuations ${\phi}_{\theta}$ and ${\phi}_r$. To test the suboptimal control law, direct numerical simulations of turbulent pipe flow at $Re_r=150$ are performed. When the control law is applied, a $13{\sim}23%$ drag reduction is achieved. The most effective drag reduction is made at the pair of ${\partial}{\upsilon}_{\theta}/{\partial}r\;|_w$ and ${\theta}_r$. An impenetrable virtual wall concept is useful for analyzing the near-wall suction and blowing. The virtual wall concept is useful for analyzing the near-wall behavior of the controlled flow. Comparison of the present suboptimal control with that of turbulent channel flow reveals that the curvature effect is insignificant.

  • Partial discharge(PD) tests were performed when the hydrogenerator(rated 11kV and 25MVA) was shut down(off-line). Six cable couplers were installed in the ring bus as well as within hydrogenerator terminal box. PD tests were conducted using partial discharge analyzer(PDA) and digital partial discharge detector(PDD). PDA showed that the normalized quantity number(NQN) and the partial discharge magnitude increased with increase of ac voltage. Slot discharges were discovered in three phases(A, B and C) at the rated voltage. PDA and PDD test results are in accordance with the pattern and magnitude of partial discharge. This hydrogenerator stator windings were in good condition.

  • In this paper, we developed HPF (high pass filter) consisted of lumped LC components to decrease the noises that are detected in PD (partial discharge) measuring test, and adapted it to field test. We tested under laboratory circumstances like the fields, and measured the phase change properties of detected signal in UHF sensor with Lemke probe and oscilloscope (TDS-3054, Tektronix).

Permutation tests for the multivariate data

  • In this paper, we consider the permutation tests for the multivariate data under the two-sample problem setting. We review some testing procedures, which are parametric and nonparametric and compare them with the permutation ones. Then we consider to try to apply the permutation tests to the multivariate data having the continuous and discrete components together by choosing some suitable combining function through the partial testing. Finally we discuss more aspects for the permutation tests as concluding remarks.

  • The characterization for several multi-layer embedded inductors with different structures was investigated. The optimized equivalent circuit models for several test structures were obtained from HSPICE. Building blocks are modeled using Partial element equivalent circuit method. The mean and the standard deviation of model parameters were extracted and predictive modeling was performed on different test structure. From this study, the characteristic of multi-layer inductors can be predicted.

강교량 필렛용접이음부의 루트부 피로파괴 방지 (Prevention of Fatigue Failure at Root Region in the Fillet Welded Joint of Steel Bridge)

  • 본 연구는 용접지단부의 후처리 결과, 상대적으로 피로강도가 낮아진 용접루트부에 초점을 맞추었다. 용접루트부의 피로강도를 향상시키기 위하여 부분용입용접을 실시한 십자 리브 시험체와 보통의 필렛용접이음 십자 리브 시험체를 대상으로 피로시험을 행하였다. 그 결과, 부분용입용접을 한 시험체이더라도 용접그대로인 시험체의 경우는 보통의 필렛용접이음과 거의 동등한 피로강도를 보였다. 이것은 피로파괴가 지단부로부터 시작되었기 때문에 용접루트부의 보강책인 부분용입용접의 효과가 나타나지 않았다고 생각된다. 이에, 지단부의 피로파괴를 막기 위해 지단부를 후처리시킨 부분용입용접이음 시험체를 대상으로 피로시험을 한 결과, 보통의 필렛용접이음보다 상당한 피로강도 향상을 보였다. 그러므로 본 연구는 지단부로부터 피로균열 발생을 억제한다면, 부분용입용접이음으로 루트부의 피로강도를 향상시켜, 결국 전체적인 파단수명을 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 생각한다.

  • 복합화력발전소 에너지절감 사업으로 폐열회수용 흡수식 히트펌프가 설치됨에 따라 부분부하(Partial Load)에서의 성능 데이터 확인을 위해 성능시험을 실시하였다. 부분 부하에서 히트펌프 가동에 따른 운전 데이터 변화는 다음과 같다. 기기냉각수(CCW) 배열 및 배열회수열교환기(HRSG)로부터 공급되는 저압증기(LP STM)의 일부가 히트펌프의 열원으로 공급되므로 지역난방열 생산이 증대된다. 그러나 증기터빈으로 공급되는 저압증기의 유량감소에 따라 증기터빈 출력이 감소된다. 또한 고압 지역난방열교환기(HP-DH) 및 저압 지역난방열교환기(LP-DH)로 공급되는 고압터빈(HPT) 배기증기의 유량 저하에 따라 HP-DH 및 LP-DH의 열생산량도 감소한다. 부분부하에서는 정격부하 대비 히트펌프에 운전에 따른 터빈 출력 저하가 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 이에 따라 부분 부하에서는 발전소 전체의 열 생산 증가량, 전기출력 감소량을 종합적으로 고려하여 히트펌프 운전 여부를 결정해야 한다.

  • For evaluation of partial discharge performances of electrical power appratus such as Insulator, circuit breaker and transformer and so on, Partial discharge measuring system(ERA) consisted of PD detector including amplifier, coupling capacitor, PD calibrator and voltage divider are used PD measuring system is very important factor which affect the test result and show reliability of test result in test laboratory, In this paper, we describe tracebility and uncertainty of PD measuring system in test laboratory based on IEC 60270.

회로 분할에 의한 순차회로의 테스트생성 (Test Generation for Sequential Circuits Based on Circuit Partitioning)

  • In this paper, we propose a test generation method for large scale sequential circuits based on circuit partitioning to increase the size of circuits that the implicit product machine traversal (IPMT) method can handle. Our method paratitions a circuit under test into subset circuits with only single output, and performs a partial scan design using the state transtition cost that represents a degree of the connectivity of the subset circuit. The IPMT method is applied to the partitioned partial scan circuits in test generation. Experimental results for ISCAS89 benchmark circuits with more thatn 50 flip-flops show that our method has generated test patterns with almost 100% fault coverage at high speed by use of 34%-73% scanned flip-flops.

치근면 활택술 후 적용된 상아질 지각과민 억제제의 상아세관 폐쇄효과에 대한 주사전자 현미경적 연구 (A SEM study of dentinal tubule sealing effect of desensitizing agent applicated after root planning)

  • The purpose of this study was to observe the degree of surface obliteration of dentinal tubule using Gluma(R) desensitizer and MS coat(R) with 15 specimens made out of 15 extracted lower incisors. They were divided into Root planning group(control), Gluma(R) desensitizer group(test I ) and MS coat(R) group(test II). Degree of Obliteration was examined under the scanning electron microscope(${\times}$2000). The following results were obtained: 1. In the root planning group(control), the complete open of dentinal tubule surface was accounted for 73.8%, the partial obliteration for 17.2% and the complete obliteration for 9.0%. 2. In the Gluma(R) desensitizer group (test I), the complete open of dentinal tubule surface was accounted for 23.6%, the partial obliteration for 42.8% and the complete obliteration for 33.6%. 3. In the MS coat(R) group (test II), the complete open of dentinal tubule surface was accounted for 19.2%, the partial obliteration for 45.6% and the complete obliteration for 35.2%. 4. The average number of open dentinal tubules in the control was significantly higher than in the test I and II (P<0.05), but there were no statistically significant differences between the test I and II. 5. The average number of the partially obliterated and the completely blocked dentinal tubules in the control was significantly lower than the test I and II(P<0.05), but there were no statistically significant differences between the test I and II. The results of this study suggest that Gluma(R) desensitizer and MS coat(R) is significantly effective on dentinal tubule obliteration, therefore they were effective on hypersensitivity caused by periodontal treatment
