  • The lossless bounded real(LBR) two-pair cascade structure is one of the exiting low-sensitivity digital filter structures such as wave digital filters(WDFs) orthogonal filters. They are known to have the same structures which are composed of canonic building blocks interconnected to each other. The LBR two-pair cascade filters amount to describing in a unified manner the existing canonic low-sensitivity filters in terms of transfer matrices and chain matrices. However the existing structures have somewhat degraded low-sensitivity performance because they include dependent parameters within their structures. In this paper we propose a filter structure called “two-type-interlaced(TTI) structure.” eliminating such problem completely. This structures can be viewed as the WDFs of analog ladder circuits. As ladder circuits are obtained by cascading Brune sections and merging neighboring inductors or capacitors. so TTI structures at e obtained by cascading Type 3 LBR two-pairs and merging neighboring Type 1 LBR two-pairs. Next, a test procedure called “LBR test” is also presented in this paper. which determines whether of not the quantized TTI structure is stable . If it is unstable we can fine-tune the quantized parameters to make the overall structure stable. Therefore we can solve the dependent parameter problem completely with TTI structure along with LBR test. test.

  • The rotor configuration of the brushless doubly fed induction generator (BDFIG) plays an important role in its performance. In order to make the magnetomotive force (MMF) space vector in one set rotor windings to couple both magnetic fields with different pole-pair and have low resistance and inductance, this paper presents a novel wound rotor type for BDFIG with low space harmonic contents. In accordance with the principles of slot MMF harmonics and unequal element coils, this novel rotor winding is designed to be composed of three-layer unequal-pitch unequal-turn coils. The optimal design process and rules are given in detail with an example. The performance of a 700kW 2/4 pole-pair prototype with the proposed wound rotor is analyzed by the finite element simulation and experimental test, which are also carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed wound rotor configuration.

  • The vibration and nosic of gears is causeed by manufacting error, alignment error in assembly, and thr meshing stiffness of gears which changes periodically as the meshing of teeth process. On a pair of power transmission helical gears with profile error, the relation between the characteristics of gear vibration and the profile error type have been investigated by simulating the vibrational acceleration level and calculating the natural frequency. The results show that the profile error decrease the natural frequency by reducing the tool stiffness and that the concave error type increase the vibrationsl level. And this paper describes the effect of the tip relief on the vibrational acceleration level which a pair of helical gears with concave error generates.

  • A new type bridge combining an integral bridge and a pair of geosynthetic-reinforced soil (GRS) retaining walls having full-height rigid (FHR) facings, called the GRS integral bridge, is proposed. The geosynthetic reinforcement layers are connected to the FHR facings (i.e., RC parapets) that are integrated with a girder without using any girder-support. GRS integral bridges are basically much more cost-effective in construction and long-term maintenance while having a much higher seismic stability than conventional-type bridges having a girder via movable and fixed supports on a pair of cantilever abutments. GRS integral bridges are better than bridges using GRS retaining walls as abutments and also than conventional integral bridges with unreinforced backfill. To validate the above, a series of static cyclic lateral loading tests of the facing and a series of shaking table tests were performed on smallscaled models of different bridge types.

  • A symmetrical 3-dB quadrature hybrid circuits, consisting mainly of bifilar pair of taitoted wires, is described. A cascade of two such hybrid circuits can achieve an octave bandwidth hybrid circuit with a small coupling loss. Since the proposed type is simple, compact, and low In cost 1 its applicarion may be preferred to the more common coaxial line or printed -circuit type hybrid version in the frequency region below 1 GHz. This study provides a design method for a hybrid circuit mixing two different antenna signals for the anti - ghosting of television signal.

  • Consider the quantum algebra Uq(sl2) over field 𝓕 (char(𝓕) = 0) with equitable generators x±1, y and z, where q is fixed nonzero, not root of unity scalar in 𝓕. Let V denote a finite dimensional irreducible module for this algebra. Let Λ ∈ End(V), and let {A1, A2, A3} = {x, y, z}. First we show that if Λ, A1 is a Leonard pair, then this Leonard pair have four types, and we show that for each type there exists a Leonard pair Λ, A1 in which Λ is a linear combination of 1, A2, A3, A2A3. Moreover, we use Λ to construct 𝚼 ∈ Uq(sl2) such that 𝚼, A-11 is a Leonard pair, and show that 𝚼 = I + A1Φ + A1ΨA1 where Φ and Ψ are linear combination of 1, A2, A3.

  • In this study, beat control method using an equivalent ring model is proposed to control beat period of a slightly asymmetric ring. Slight asymmetry in a ring generates mode pair and the interaction of the mode pair makes beat in vibration and sound. In a ring, as a simplified bell type structure, mode data are measured and an equivalent ring is determined so that the measured mode condition is satisfied. By the finite element analysis on the equivalent ring, changes of mode pair condition are predicted when local mass is attached or the local thickness is decreased. The predicted results are compared with the experimental result and the validity of the proposed method is verified.

  • We employ the notion of implicit functions to prove a general common fixed point theorem in fuzzy metric spaces besides adopting the idea of R-weak commutativity of type (P) in fuzzy setting. In process, several previously known results are deduced as special cases to our main result.

  • The aim of this paper is to establish a new fixed point theorem for a set-valued mapping defined on a metric space satisfying a weak contractive type condition and to establish a new common fixed point theorem for a pair of set-valued mappings defined on a metric space satisfying a weak contractive type inequality. And we give periodic point theorems for single-valued mappings defined on a metric space satisfying weak contractive type conditions.

  • This study investigated the types and frequencies of student-student questioning (SSQ) in a small group activities, 5 in one group or 2 in one group, during school experiments. Five girls of seventh grade were observed during school experiments and interviewed afterward. Between students, information-type questions were asked more frequently than thought-type questions. Most of the information-type questions were procedural ones and most of the thought-type questions were comprehension ones. However, thought-type questions did not make further discussion in the activities. The rate of answers in the case of 2 in one group was higher than that of 5 in one group. Moreover, the similar tendency was found when we investigated the rate of helpful question-answers. In a pair, lower achiever usually asked questions, not answered as much as in 5 in one group, and higher achiever answered. The frequency of SSQ in a pair was relatively low when there was a big difference of science achievements between pair members. In conclusion, information-type questions were asked more frequently than thought-type questions during school experiments and the rate of helpful question-answers was higher when group members was fewer.
