Assessment of In Vitro Oocyte Maturation in Two Gobiid Fish Species, Chasmichthys dolichognathus and Tridentiger trigonocephalus after Exposure to Benzo[a]pyrene

  • Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are ubiquitous environmental contaminants derived from incomplete combustion of carbons and crude oil. In this study, we investigated the effects of benzo[a]pyrene (B[a]P), a representative PAHs on in vitro sex steroid hormone production and germinal vesicle breakdown (GVBD) using isolated oocytes of longchin goby (Chasmichthys dolichognathus) and chameleon goby (Tridentiger trigonocephalus). Oocytes in diameters of 0.8-0.9 (end vitellogenic stage) and 0.9-1.0 mm (germinal vesicle migratory stage) from longchin goby and 0.5 mm (fully vitellogenic stage) from chameleon goby were used. In GVBD assay, B[a]P at 10 nM stimulated GVBD in the oocytes of 0.8-0.9 mm from longchin goby. B[a]P at 1 nM stimulated GVBD in the oocytes with diameter 0.5 mm from chameleon goby. In steroid production from oocytes of longchin goby, B[a]P at 100 nM decreased testosterone (T) production, B[a]P at 1,000 nM increased estraiol-17 (J (E2) production and 10 and 100 nM increased $17,20{\beta}$-dihydroxy-4-pregnen-3-one ($17{\alpha}20{\beta}P$) production in the oocytes with diameter 0.8-0.9 mm. B[a]P at 1,000 nM increased E2 production, 100 and 1,000 nM increased $17{\alpha}20{\beta}P$ production in the oocytes with diameter 0.9-1.0 mm. In steroid production of oocytes from chameleon goby, B[a]P at 1,000 nM increased $E_2$ production. B[a]P at 10 nM increased $17{\alpha}20{\beta}P$ production. In the ratio of $E_2$ to T ($E_2$/T), B[a]P at 100 and 1,000 nM increased $E_2$/T in the oocytes of longchin goby. B[a]P at 100 nM also increased $E_2$/T in the oocytes of chameleon goby. Taken together, these results suggest that B[a]P have not only weak estrogenic effects but progestogenic effects on oocyte maturation.

Binary Doping of N-B and N-P into Graphene: Structural and Electronic properties

  • We investigate co-doping effects of conjugated P-N B-N with increasing of N concentration in the graphene sheets using a first principles based on the density functional theory. N doping sites of the graphene consider two possible sites (pyridinic and porphyrin-like). Energy calculation shows that additional doping of B atom in the porphyrin-like N doped graphene ($V+B-N_x$) is hard to form. At the low chemical potential of N, one N atom with additional doping in the graphene ($V+P-N_1$, $P/B-N_1$) has low formation energy on the other hand at high chemical potential of N, high concentration of N ($V+P-N_4$, $P/B-N_3$) in the graphene is governing conformation. From the results of electronic band structure calculation, it is found that $V+P-N_4$ and $P/B-N_3$ cases change the Fermi energy therefore type change is occurred. On the other hand, the cases of $V+P-N_1$ and N+B recover the electronic structure of pristine graphene.

B-boy와 K-pop 댄서 중심으로 한 분리 동작의 생체역학적 비교 (Biomechanical Comparison during Isolation Movement in B-boy and K-pop Dancers)

  • 본 연구는 기본동작인 분리(isolation) 동작을 통해 K-pop과 B-boy의 동작의 특성을 생체역학적 변인(CoM, CoM velocity, planar angle, joint moment )중심으로 그 차이점을 규명하는데 목적이 있으며, spss 18.0을 이용하여 독립변인 t검증을 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 국면1과 국면2에서 K-pop 댄서의 CoM 합성변위는 B-boy 보다 더 크게 나타났다(p<.05). 둘째, 국면2와 국면3에서 CoM의 이동속도는 K-pop댄서가 B-boy 보다 더 빠른 것으로 나타났다(p<.05). 셋째, 국면1에서 몸통과 골반의 수평각은 K-pop댄서의 오른쪽 수평각, 국면2와 국면3에서 B-boy의 왼쪽 수평각이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다(p<.05). 넷째, 합성모멘트는 엉덩관절의 국면1에서 B-boy가 더 크게 나타났고, 무릎 관절은 국면2, 국면3, 국면4에서 발목관절은 국면3에서 K-pop 댄서가 더 큰 회전력이 나타났다(p<.05). 따라서 동일한 분리 동작이라 할지라도, K-pop과 B-boy 댄서는 다르게 수행함을 발견하게 되었다.

요양보호사의 소명의식, 의사소통능력, 직무만족이 직업의식에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of professional Consciousness on Calling, Communication Competence, Job Satisfaction of Caregivers)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 요양보호사의 직업의식에 영향을 주는 영향요인을 파악하여 직업의식 향상을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 본 연구는 서술적 연구로서 G시에서 요양보호사로 근무하고 있는 110명을 대상으로 2019년 9월부터 6주 동안 설문지를 이용하여 자료수집 하였다. 분석을 위해 서술적 통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, Multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 요양보호사의 소명의식 3.41점, 의사소통능력 3.23점, 직무만족은 4.12점이었다. 직업의식과 직무만족은 정 상관관계(r=.636, p<.001)), 직업의식과 직무만족(r=.378 p<.001), 직업의식과 소명의식(r=.356, p<.001)로 정 상관관계를 보였다. 요양보호사의 직업의식에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 직무만족(B=.329, p<.001)이 가장 높은 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 의사소통능력(B=.216, p<.001), 소명 의식(B=.165, p=.002)을 포함한 모델의 설명력은 57.5%로 나타났다. 추후 요양보호사에게 직무만족 강화훈련을 지속적으로 유지해야 할 것이다.

$Li_2O-B_2O_3-P_2O_5$계 유리의 이온전도성 (Ionic Conductivity of $Li_2O-B_2O_3-P_2O_5$ based Glasses)

  • Li2O-B2O3-P2O5 glasses with high lithium content were analysed by electrical characterization. The electrical conductivity increase with Li content and exhibits a maximum value of 1.2$\times$10-4S/cm near B2O3/P2O5=1 at 15$0^{\circ}C$. Glass transitiion temperature increased with conductivity. Concentration of charge carrier and distribution of relaxation time were independent of temperature. In this system the variation of conductivity with the composition was depend on mobility of lithium ion. Basically, it is attribute to primitive activation energy. Enhancement of conductivities was related to be formation of (B-O-P)-, di-, and metaborate group, which give additional available sites for Li+ diffusion.

Autophagy-Dependent Survival of Mutant B-Raf Melanoma Cells Selected for Resistance to Apoptosis Induced by Inhibitors against Oncogenic B-Raf

  • Most patients with mutant B-Raf melanomas respond to inhibitors of oncogenic B-Raf but resistance eventually emerges. To better understand the mechanisms that determine the long-term responses of mutant B-Raf melanoma cells to B-Raf inhibitor, we used chronic selection to establish B-Raf (V600E) melanoma clones with acquired resistance to the new oncogenic B-Raf inhibitor UI-152. Whereas the parental A375P cells were highly sensitive to UI-152 ($IC_{50}$ < $0.5{\mu}M$), the resistant sub-line (A375P/Mdr) displayed strong resistance to UI-152 ($IC_{50}$ < $20{\mu}M$). Immunofluorescence analysis indicated the absence of an increase in the levels of P-glycoprotein multidrug resistance (MDR) transporter in A375P/Mdr cells, suggesting that resistance was not attributable to P-glycoprotein overexpression. In UI-152-sensitive A375P cells, the anti-proliferative activity of UI-152 appeared to be due to cell-cycle arrest at $G_0/G_1$ with the induction of apoptosis. However, we found that A375P/Mdr cells were resistant to the apoptosis induced by UI-152. Interestingly, UI-152 preferentially induced autophagy in A375P/Mdr cells but not in A375P cells, as determined by GFP-LC3 puncta/cell counts. Further, autophagy inhibition with 3-methyladenine (3-MA) partially augmented growth inhibition of A375P/Mdr cells by UI-152, which implies that a high level of autophagy may protect UI-152-treated cells from undergoing growth inhibition. Together, our data implicate high rates of autophagy as a key mechanism of acquired resistance to the oncogenic B-Raf inhibitor, in support of clinical studies in which combination therapy with autophagy targeted drugs is being designed to overcome resistance.

외식업체의 마케팅 커뮤니케이션 활동이 고객만족도에 미치는 영향 연구 - 메뉴선택속성을 조절 변수로 - (A Study on the Impact of Food Industry Marketing Communication Activities on Menu, Selection Criteris and Customer Satisfaction - Focusing on the Moderating Effect of Menu Selection Criteria -)

  • 본 연구는 2016년 3월 1일부터 3월 30일에 이르는 약 30일간 조사기간을 두어 실시하였고, 자료 수집은 서울 시내 외식업소 10여 군데에 대해 이용하는 고객들을 대상으로 방문하는 고객에게 자기기입식으로 응답하게 하였다. 첫째, 외식산업의 마케팅 커뮤니케이션 활동이 소비자들의 고객 만족도에 영향을 분석하기 위해 회귀분석을 실시했다. 그 결과, 첫째, 광고는 B=0.107(p<.001), 편리는 B=0.093(p<.05), 사교는 B=0.294(p<.01), 홍보는 B=0.334(p<.001), 판매촉진은 B=0.542(p<001), 인적판매는 B=0.111(p<.01)로 하위 변수 모두 고객 만족도에 유의적인 정(+)의 영향력이 있었다. 둘째, 외식 마케팅 커뮤니케이션과 고객만족도간의 메뉴 선택속성에 관해 조절효과를 검증은 분석 결과, 인적판매는 유의적인 정(+)의 영향력이 있었고, 홍보는 부(-)의 영향력이 있었다. 그리고 광고, 판매촉진은 아무런 조절효과가 없었다.

한반도 후빙기의 저지대 식생사 (The Post-glacial Vegetation History of the Lowland in Korean Peninsula)

  • This is the review of vegetational history of the post-glacial period in Korea. most of studies for vegetational changes are located in the lowland alluvial plain, especially below the hilly zone of western and eastern coastal regions of Korea. A couple of methods, pollen analysis and radiocarbon dating, have been employed in these studies. These results lead us to establish the pollen zonation in Korea as the followings. Yasuda et al.(1980) classified six period in Yongrang lake of sokcho. These are as follow I. 17,000-15,000yr B.P.: Picea, Abies, Pinus(Haploxylon), Larix stage, II.15,000-10,000yr B.P:Herb, Pteridophyta stage, III.10.000-6,700yr BP.:Quercus stage, IV.6,700-4,500yr B.P.:Pinus, Quercus, Carpinus stage, V.4,500-1,400yr B.P.:Quercus. Pinus stage, VI.1,400yr B.P.-present: Pinus, Herbs stage. Jo(1979) also divided the period into two stages from the outcomes of analysis done in Jumoonjin and other sites I.10,000-6,000yr B.P.:Quercus stage, II.6,000-present: Pinus-Quercus stage, and three substages: IIa.6,000-3,400 yr B.P.:lower Pinus stage, IIb.3,400-2,000yr B.P.:Pinus-Quercus stage, IIc.2,000-present: Pinus stage. Choi(1993, 1996) divided the period into three stages: I.6,000-5,000yr B.P.:Alnus, Quercus stage, II.5,000-4,000yr B.P.: Alnus, Quercus, Pinus stage, III.4,500-2,600yr B.P.: Alnus, Pinus stage. In the period around 6,000yr B.P. distinct dominant species clearly occupied the lowland of the eastern and western coasts. Thus, this strongly supports the fact that even if Korea experienced its warm and wet climate after the lateglacial, it underwent a different environmental change, dry climate, compared to the regions of Japan.

Bi계 저융점 유리의 제조 (Fabrication of Bi based solder glass)

  • 전자 패키징에 적용 가능한 납성분이 포함되어 있지 않는 Bi계저융점유리의 연구를 행하였다. Bi계유리중, 70wt% $Bi_2O_3$+ l5wt% $B_2O_3$ + 8wt% $SiO_2$+ 2wt% $P_2O_5$ + 4wt% $A1_2O_3$ + lwt%ZnO 성분의 유리는 융점이 약 $550^{\circ}C$ 였으며, $P_2O_5$의 함량에 따라서 그 융점이 변화하였다. 10wt%이상의 $P_2O_5$ 첨가에서는 $450^{\circ}C$의 열처리로 결정화가 진행되었다. $B_2O_3$가 많이 함유된 조성의 유리에서는 그 융점이 상승하였다.
