Regarding a long-term strategic plan in the food and agriculture sector, R&D policies and investment trends in major overseas countries are reviewel. The importance of efficient resource management is emphasized along with continuous government support for R&D in the agri-food industry. In response to facing social issues such as climate change, food security, food safety, health, and environment, research and innovation agenda is mainly focused on harmony between economy and environment, human nutrition and health as well as animal and plant health, and an integrated ecosystem approach. Particularly in the food sector, public investment is generally made in food safety, nutrition and health, and private investment for food processing and manufacturing. Public-private collaboration is carried out in order to enhance the efficiency of R&D innovation and development strategies in the agri-food industry.

This paper is to understanding the recent research trend of leadership. To this end, it is intended to grasp the research trend of leadership by using foreign academic databases such as SCOPUS and SPRINGER. As a result of the analysis, it was found that a lot of research has been conducted in management, human resource management, organization, etc., which have traditionally been studied. However, in addition to this field, research in the fields of Nursing, Engineering, Computer Science, and Education has been steadily increasing. This shows that the study of leadership is becoming important not only in companies and specific organizations, but also in various disciplines. In particular, as leadership is becoming more important than ever, it is expected that research on leadership will continue to be carried out with interest in many fields.

Recently, the spread of ESS in Korea has increased and a fire accident has also occurred. By July 2018, there were a total of 7 cases. All 7 cases were ESS systems consisting of lithium-ion batteries and were burned down. Both the automatic fire extinguisher and the fire department were not able to digest. In this paper, the characteristics of ESS fire are analyzed based on recent ESS fire situation and field investigation, and the cause of fire is divided into environmental, electrical and thermal factors. As a result, it was found that the ESS fire was correlated with the installation environment of the system. In the domestic and overseas lithium ion battery test standard and ESS facility standard survey, the trends and differences of domestic and overseas facilities standards were identified. Based on the fire status and field investigationy, and domestic and overseas facility standard survey, measures were suggested to prevent and prevent the spread of fire in ESS fire.

This study aims to examine the current status of Korean and overseas science and arts convergence programs in and out of schools to apply them in school education settings and to learn about the characteristics of overseas programs through case studies. In addition, it explores implications of the current domestic and overseas for implementation in schools. For this study, we selected 193 domestic in-school science and arts convergence programs and 106 domestic out-of-school programs. For the overseas programs, we selected those conducted by the government, research institutes, science halls, and art galleries. We also analyzed the domestic in-school programs by type of students, operation hours, areas of convergence, and the function and role of arts activities. We analyzed domestic out-of-school programs by operation time, operation method, areas of convergence, and type of activities. Moreover, we examined the overseas programs in terms of their program developers, goals, and characteristics. These findings suggest that in order for science and arts convergence education to become well established in Korean schools, it is necessary to develop programs that can be incorporated into the present science education curriculum, rather than individual content or a single class on science and arts convergence, and to diversify the range of programs. In addition, out-of-school programs should be actively considered, and intense discussions on the use of program activities and teaching materials are needed. Finally, research institutes and educational institutions should be closely linked to achieve a common goal.

Drones are now widely used in civilian applications such as filming, leisure, agricultural control, monitoring, and the generation of 3D-spatial information, deviating only from military drones. In the field of logistics, prototypes are emerging in the area of logistics transportation, and to develop a future transportation service under the name of a drone tax, each country is introducing its first flight results using its own unique drones. In this paper, we review the domestic and overseas trends of drone delivery service technology, which requires various capabilities such as automatic flight, and review the related core technologies. We then propose the flight capability and road map of a drone delivery service according to the detailed conditions such as the flight area, visibility, and flight method. Additionally, in connection with the postal processing of the Korea Post Office, which would be a main demand for this type of service, we describe a method for realizing a drone delivery service based on the structure, scenario, and deployment of the drone delivery system.

Recently perovskite materials with much cheaper cost and marvellous optoelectronic properties have been studied for next generation LED display devices overseas. Technology development trends of inorganic $CsPbX_3$(X=halogen) based LEDs (PeLEDs) with assumed high stability were investigated on literature worldwide. It was found that syntheses methods of these nanocrystals (NCs, mainly quantum dots, QDs) made great progress. A new room temperature synthesis method showed outstanding PL (photoluminescence) properties such as high quantum yield (QY), narrow emission width, storage stability comparable with, or often exceeding those of conventional hot injection method and CdSe@ZnS type inorganic colloidal QDs. PeLEDs with shell layers might be more promising, indicating urgent real research start of this solution processing technology for small businesses in Korea.

Intra- and inter- datacenter data traffic is rapidly increasing due to the spread of smart devices, cloud computing, and non-face-to-face services. Recently, 400-Gbps optical transceivers based on 100-Gbps/channel have been released primarily by major overseas companies. Various solutions for next-generation datacenter interconnect are being proposed by international standardization and multiple source agreement groups. Following this trend, ETRI has developed a 400-Gbps optical transmission/reception engine using 100-Gbps/channel light sources and photodetectors as well as a silica-based AWG. In the future, technologies of optical devices and components for intra-datacenter communication are expected to be developed based on a data rate of 200-Gbps/channel. Thus, 1.6-Tbps class optical transceivers will be released.

Digital trade rules are crucial in supporting the digital economy as the rules effectively reduce unnecessary trade barriers. This study introduces various approaches that major countries take regarding digital trade policies and rules. Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership has introduced comprehensive rules on e-commerce, including binding articles on the free flow of information, location of computing facilities, and source code. More recent e-commerce provisions or digital trade agreements cover wider range of issues, from cyber security, artificial intelligence, and data innovation to electronic invoicing and payments. Multilateral negotiations on digital trade rules, including the World Trade Organization E-commerce Joint Statement Initiatives and Indo-Pacific Economic Framework, are in progress. Thus, countries involved are expected to respond to new digital trade issues with long-term strategies considering domestic policy objectives.

Trade rules in service and digital sectors mainly focus on reducing regulatory uncertainties by improving transparency and minimizing unnecessary requirements. Recognizing the importance of digital trade rules and trade in information and communication technology (ICT) sectors, governments worldwide have rapidly adopted and expanded rules on free flow of data, personal data protection, electronic authentication, and cybersecurity. On the other hand, advances in technology have led governments to face multiple threats related to cybersecurity, intellectual property (including that related to source code and algorithms), and unauthorized access to proprietary information of their suppliers. This study presents digital trade rules related to digital security emphasizing cybersecurity, source code, and ICT products that use cryptography in different trade agreements. Additionally, it introduces various approaches that major countries are taking to both address digital security issues and seek balance between security enhancement and trade liberalization.

Because the Apple Pay which created by U.S's Apple Inc. and launch of Samsung pay in last August in domestic, people have high interest in Pin-Tech industries and new method of easy payment. In this paper, it will study newly introduced Pin-Tech industries and marketability of Pin-Tech industries. Also it will propose safe use of Pin-Tech services based on cases in domestic and overseas. This paper is organized as follows. In Chapter 2, it will study concept of Pin-Tech services and status of Pin-Tech services in domestic and overseas. In Chapter 3, it will look technical trends of Pin-Tech services. In Chapter 4, it will propose direction based on analysis of cases of Pin-Tech services. This paper will finish with conclusion in Chapter 5. Given the global trends, Korea is now just took the first steps in new Pin-Tech era. The Pin-Tech services are in situations that it is not yet activated in domestic due to the various financial regulations and procedures. In this paper, it will shows cases of concerns of Pin-Tech services and domestic authentication which relates to easy payment certification. If Pin-Tech services are develop with easy payment certification and adapt to domestic environment and develop based on stability and security as mentioned in this paper, domestic Pin-Tech services and security technology will grow to the world level. Also it requires unceasing research and efforts from relevant government officials, security companies and Pin-Tech ICT companies.
