이 논문에서는 맹장염 수술에서 임상경로 개발을 위한 새로운 처방 선택 방법을 제안하였다. 처방 선택 방법은 연관성 규칙발견에서 흔히 사용되는 향상도에 근거하고 있으며 구체적으로 빈도가 높은 처방부터 출발하여 이것과의 향상도가 1에 못 미치는 음의 연관성 처방들을 순차적으로 제거하는 방법이다. 이 연구에서 관심을 두는 맹장염 수술 처방은 치료와 검사 항목이며, 치료와 검사 항목이 수술 전, 수술 중, 수술 후에 다른 행태를 보이기 때문에 세 가지로 구분하여 처방 선택 방법을 적용하였다. 이 처방 선택의 결과는 단순 빈도순에 의한 처방 선택의 결과와 약간의 차이를 보였다. 구체적으로 치료 항목에서는 1-2개 정도의 처방 선택이 달라졌으며, 검사 항목에서는 5개까지 처방 선택이 달라졌다.

재현자료를 생성하여 배포하는 것은 데이터 공개에 따른 정보 유출의 위험을 방지하는 대표적인 방법이다. 최근 산업에서 데이터의 활용이 중요해진 만큼 한국을 포함한 많은 국가 및 기관에서 재현자료에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 대표적인 재현자료 생성 기법들과 평가 지표들을 소개한다. 전통적인 재현자료 생성 방법인 다중대체와 최근 제시된 인공신경망 기반의 재현자료 생성 방법 등을 활용하여 재현자료를 생성하는 과정을 기술함에 따라 재현자료 생성 방법에 대한 전반적인 이해를 돕는다. 이에 더해 다양한 재현자료 평가 지표를 바탕으로 생성된 재현자료들을 분석 및 비교함에 따라 앞으로의 연구에 대한 방향을 제시하고 그에 대한 토대를 마련하고자 한다.

We introduce and discuss a new numerical method for solving system of second order boundary value problems, where the solution is required to satisfy some extra continuity conditions on the subintervals in addition to the usual boundary conditions. We show that the present method gives approximations which are better than that produced by other collocation, finite difference and spline methods. Numerical example is presented to illustrate the applicability of the new method. AMS Mathematics Subject Classification : 65L12, 49J40.

We prove the boundary Harnack principle and the Carleson type estimate for ratios of solutions u/v of non-divergence second order elliptic equations $Lu=a_{ij}D_{ij}+b_iD_iu=0$ in a bounded domain ${\Omega}{\subset}R_n$. We assume that $b_i{\in}L^n({\Omega})$ and ${\Omega}$ is a $H{\ddot{o}}lder$ domain of order ${\alpha}{\in}$ (0, 1) satisfying a strong regularity condition.

There are fruitful results on degenerate parabolic-hyperbolic equations recently following the idea of $Kru{\check{z}}kov^{\prime}s$ doubling variables device. This paper is devoted to the well-posedness of nonhomogeneous boundary problem for degenerate parabolic-hyperbolic equations with spatially dependent second order operator, which has not caused much attention. The novelty is that we use the boundary flux triple instead of boundary layer to treat this problem.

In this paper, modified second order slope rotatable designs are introduced and modified slope rotatable central composite designs (SRCCD) are constructed for $2 {\le} v {\le} 17$ (v: the number of factors). Further, it can be shown for certain values of 'v', the modified SRCCD can be viewed as SRCCD constructed as with the technique of augmentation of second order rotatable design (SORD) using central composite design to SRCCD. These designs are useful in parts to estimate responses and slopes with spherical variance functions.

In this article we show that a class of random coefficient autoregressive processes including the NEAR (New exponential autoregressive) process has the strong mixing property in the sense of Rosenblatt with mixing order decaying to zero. The result can be used to construct model free prediction interval for the future observation in the NEAR processes.

Classification of subjects with unknown distribution in small sample size setup may involve order-restricted constraints in multivariate parameter setups. Those problems makes optimality of conventional likelihood ratio based statistical inferences not feasible. Fortunately, Roy (1953) introduced union-intersection principle(UIP) which provides an alternative avenue. Redescending M-estimator along with that principle yields a considerably appropriate robust testing procedure. Furthermore, conditionally distribution-free test based upon exact permutation theory is used to generate p-values, even in small sample. Applications of this method are illustrated in simulated data and read data example (Lobenhofer et al., 2002)

In general, a class-preserving automorphism of generalized free products of nilpotent groups, amalgamating a cyclic normal subgroup of order 8, need not be an inner automorphism. We prove that every class-preserving automorphism of generalized free products of nitely generated nilpotent groups, amalgamating a cyclic normal subgroup of order less than 8, is inner.

In this paper we mainly investigate the properties of the solutions to a type of nonhomogeneous algebraic differential equation in an angular domain. It includes the Borel directions of the solutions, the width of angular domains in which the solutions take its order and the measure of radial distributions of Julia sets of the solutions.
