치과위생사의 보수교육 실태 및 희망보수교육 내용 요구도 (Dental hygienist's status and demand of continuing education contents)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to provide the basic data that can help the development and quality management of effective continuing education programs by analyzing the status and demand of continuing education contents for dental hygienists. Methods: The questionnaire had 30 questions, which included 5 questions on general characteristics, 4 on continuing education status, 3 on online continuing education, and 18 on desired continuing education. The survey was conducted for the members attending continuing education programs in 2018. Results: The mean age of the participants was 30.08 years, with an average career of 8.19 years. The continuing education was highly recognized, through the homepage of the association (52.5%); as speakers for continuing education, dental hygienists in the field of specialization were preferred (45.8%). Additionally, the preferred frequency of programs was twice a year (45.7%). For promoting continuing education, the use of mobile phone letter was preferred (65.8%). Moreover, 92.9% of respondents were aware of online continuing education, 49.9% had experience in online continuing education, and 59.9% said that they will actively use smart devices in the future. The requirement for the contents of continuing education was the highest at 4.34 points for health insurance cost and the lowest at 2.75 points for liberal arts classes. Conclusions: To provide effective continuing education, it is necessary to develop a customized continuing education program considering various variables, such as career, work place, and career break experience, thus reflecting the systematic requirement of surveys according to each characteristic.

사서직 계속교육 동향 분석 - 온라인교육과 역량기반 교육을 중심으로 - (Trends in the Online Continuing Professional Development for Librarians and Applications of Professional Competencies)

  • 본 연구에서는 온라인교육과 역량기반 교육을 중심으로 사서직 계속교육의 국내외 동향을 분석하였다. 현재 국내 사서 계속교육 프로그램의 70% 이상이 온라인교육방식으로 수행되고 있었고, 주로 온라인 코스웨어 형태의 표준화된 콘텐츠가 동영상으로 제작되어 반복 활용되고 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 반면, 미국과 호주에서는 주로 웨비나 등 쌍방향 커뮤니케이션이 가능한 이러닝 방식을 사용하여 도서관 안팎의 최신 이슈를 다양한 교육강좌로 구성한 비표준화된 콘텐츠가 활용되고 있었다. 또한 최근 주목할 동향으로 미국, 영국, 호주 등 해외에서 전문직 역량기준에 기반하여 계속교육을 제공하려는 시도들이 파악되었다. 따라서 국내에서도 기 개발된 사서직 역량기준들을 계속교육에 접목시킴으로써 체계적인 교육프로그램을 운영할 것이 요청된다. 본 연구에서 분석한 해외 모범사례들은 향후 국내 온라인 계속교육 프로그램을 현장의 계속교육 수요와 요구에 부응하며 현장사서들의 역량을 강화시키는 방향으로 개선하는데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

A Study on the Refresher Training of Physical Therapist in Gwangju and Jeonnam

  • Purpose: The current study seeks to examine the continuing education of physical therapist in Gwangju, Jeonnam. Methods: A survey was conducted during the continuing education of physical therapist held in Gwangju in 2015 with 297 participants. The survey questionnaire consisted of 13 questions on characteristics of physical therapist, 7 questions on the level of satisfaction with continuing education, 11 questions regarding the need for continuing education, and 8 questions concerning how to improve continuing education. Results: As for the level of satisfaction with the content of continuing education, the survey results indicated that there were significant differences across respondents' age and career period. Regarding the level of satisfaction with the environment in which continuing education was provided; significant differences were observed across respondents' age, education, marital status, monthly pay, career period, and service period. Regarding the level of satisfaction with the expense in which continuing education was provided; significant differences were observed across respondents' sex, age, education, marital status, dependent family, monthly pay, career period, and position. In terms of the level of satisfaction with the operation method in which continuing education was carried out, there were significant differences across respondents' age, education, and career period. Conclusion: The survey found the level of satisfaction with continuing education to be average among physical therapist in Gwangju and Jeonnam. In addition, as for ways to take continuing education courses for those who have never taken it, online education was mentioned the most. Therefore, there is a need for advertising online continuing education.

중소병원 간호사의 실무 경험에 따른 온라인 보수교육 요구도 조사 (Survey on Online Continuing Education Requirements according to Practical Experience of Nurses at Small and Medium Sized Hospitals)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to conduct a comparison analysis on requirements of online continuing education requirements according to practical experience of nurses at small and medium-sized hospitals. Methods: Data had been collected with 236 nurses from May to June, 2015. The data were analyzed with the use of SPSS. Results: Among them, 45.8% participated in online continuing education. Nurses in beginning level required musculoskeletal diseases (20.9%), care for injuries and stomas (5.8%), and surgical disease and operation care (4.7%). Competent nurses required musculoskeletal diseases (19.7%), cerebrovascular diseases (9.9%), emergency care and CPR (8.5%), and medical nursing (8.5%). Skillful nurses required cerebrovascular diseases (13.9%), care for internal diseases (8.9%), and rehabilitation care (8.9%). Among the educational contents of diseases, the items that were significantly different according to practical experience were operation management ($x^2$=23.92, p<.001) and drug care ($x^2$=7.85, p=.020). Among continuing education methods, the items that were significantly different were video ($x^2$=16.81, p<.001), webtoon ($x^2$=8.96, p=.011), and test ($x^2$=10.56, p=.005). Among continuing education evaluation methods, the items that were significantly different were multiple-choices ($x^2$=9.43, p=.009) and OX ($x^2$=6.47, p=.039) based quizzes. Conclusion: Based on the study results, it is necessary to develop a differentiated continuing education program according to practical experience of nurses.

방사선사 비대면 온라인 보수교육 실태에 따른 만족도 및 이수현황: 부산, 울산지역을 중심으로 (Satisfaction and Completion Status according to Online Continuing Education for Radiological Technologist: Focusing on Busan and Ulsan Areas)

  • 본 연구는 일개지역의 의료기관에서 근무하는 방사선사를 대상으로 비대면 온라인 보수교육 실태 및 그에 따른 만족도, 이수현황을 살펴보고 이를 바탕으로 포스트 코로나 이후 예견되는 보수교육의 설계 및 운영에 기초자료를 제공하고자 시행되었다. 2021년 1월 5일부터 1월 31일까지 2020년 온라인으로 보수교육을 이수한 방사선사 면허 소지자 255명을 대상으로 하였다. 비대면 보수교육 만족도는 면허를 취득한 후 연령이 높을수록, 남자 방사선사, 직급이 높을수록 높았다. 보수교육 이수현황은 연령이 높을수록 지회에 소속된 정회원의 경우, 의료기관의 보수교육비의 적절성이 보장될수록, 보수교육면허 이수 및 법적 제제를 인지한 경우에 이수율이 높았다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 보수교육의 만족도와 이수를 높이기 위해 급변하는 의료 환경 변화를 대비하여 연령에 따른 다양한 교육 프로그램과 콘텐츠 개발이 필요하며 회원의 요구도를 파악하여 제공하는 것이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

치과기공사의 보수교육 실태와 면허신고 현황 및 발전을 위한 연구 (A study on the status of dental technicians' continuing education and licensing reporting status and development)

  • Purpose: This study aims to determine the status of dental technician's continuing education and licensing reporting and provide basic data that can aid in improving the operation of progressive continuing education and licensing reporting and development programs. Methods: This study included dental technicians nationwide who attended the 2023 Korea Dental Technology Expo & Scientific Conference and responded to an online survey from July 21 to July 23, 2023. In total, 180 copies were analyzed. The reliability of satisfaction with continuing education demonstrated a Cronbach's α of 0.924. IBM SPSS Statistics version 21.0 (IBM) was used to statistically analyze the collected data. Results: Satisfaction with continuing education for dental technicians was 2.78, 2.81, 3.21, 2.96, and 2.87 for the number of lectures offered, composition of major fields, lecture content, instructor level, and overall satisfaction, respectively. The average satisfaction with continuing education was 2.93, which was lower than the average (3 points). The investigation revealed that overall improvement was required. Conclusion: Measures for those who have not completed continuing education must be implemented within the government's legal influence by actively using the license reporting system. Strengthening verification of completion of continuing education, improving autonomous disciplinary rights, diversifying the content and learning methods of continuing education, linking with the license reporting system, improving institutional postevaluation, and introducing related policies should be conducted when opening a dental laboratory.

치과기공사의 보수교육 만족도에 관한 연구 (A study on the satisfaction of continuing education of dental technicians)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to provide basic data that can help the development and implementation of effective and satisfactory programs. Methods: This study was used for the analysis of 699 dental technicians attending the general conference of Korean dental technicians in 2017. Statistical analysis, t-test and ANOVA were used for the analysis. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS 24.0. Results: Satisfaction with the number of lectures in continuing education was 2.54, and satisfaction with composition of major field was 2.72. Satisfaction with the content of the lecture was 3.04. The instructor level was 2.91, and the overall satisfaction was 2.92. Satisfaction with continuing education was 2.83. Conclusion : In order to increase the satisfaction of dental technicians, we expect to have various practical and systematic education such as diversification of education methods, quality level management, online continuing education.

지역사회 간호사를 위한 건강검진 온라인 교육안 개발: Rapid prototyping method를 활용 (Development of Online Continuing Education Courses on National Health Examination for Community Health Nurses: Using the Rapid Prototyping Method)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 방문간호사를 위한 국가 건강검진에 관한 온라인 보수교육 프로그램을 개발하기 위함이다. 연구 기간은 2016년 11월부터 2017년 12월까지 시행되었다. 교육 프로그램은 래피드프로토타입 방법을 활용하여 단계적으로 개발하였다. : 1) 관련 문헌 검토와 이해관계자 및 전문가의 포커스그룹 면담(FGI)을 통해 학습자의 요구도를 확인하였다. 2) 방문 간호사의 건강 검진에 관한 상담 전략을 포함하는 교육내용의 개요를 작성하였다. 3) 온라인 교육자료 개발자와 연구자가 회의를 거쳐 온라인 교육 프로그램을 개발하여 학습자에게 모의 조사를 실시하였다. 4) 확정된 교육내용을 8개의 모듈로 구분하여 온라인 교육 자료 초안을 개발하여 파일롯 과정을 실행하였다. 5) 학습자의 피드백을 반영하여 교육 프로그램을 확정하여 지역사회 간호사를 위한 건강검진 온라인 보수교육 프로그램을 최종적으로 개발 및 운영하였다. 개발 된 온라인 보수교육 프로그램은 방문 간호사가 건강검진에 관한 상담을 수행하도록 돕는 데 효과적이었다. 따라서 온라인 보수교육 프로그램은 간호사의 실무역량을 향상하는데 효과적인 교육적 접근이라 할 수 있겠다.

기록물관리 전문요원의 국가기록원 계속교육 전이효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Transfer Effect of Continuing Education in the National Archives of Korea for Records Managers)

  • 본 연구는 국가기록원 계속교육의 전이효과를 향상시키기 위한 목적으로 국가기록원 계속교육의 전이효과와 전이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하고 이에 따른 개선방안을 제안하였다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 국가기록원 계속교육의 전이효과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 학습자 특성, 교육 프로그램 특성, 조직의 전이풍토로 구분하였으며, 기록물관리 전문요원을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 272명의 전문요원이 응답하였고 통계분석을 통하여 전이효과에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하였다. 이와 더불어, 전문요원들의 요구사항 및 의견을 수렴하여 국가기록원 계속교육의 전이효과를 제고할 수 있는 개선방안을 학습자, 교육 프로그램, 조직의 전이풍토, 국가기록원 측면에서 제시하였다.

의료기관 종별 간호사의 임상간호교육 참여 현황과 보수교육 요구 분석 (Analysis of Participation Status in Clinical Nursing Education and Needs for Continuing Education among Clinical Nurses according to Hospital Type)

  • Purpose: This study investigates the participation status in clinical nursing education and nurses' continuing education needs to develop educational programs. Methods: Participants were 227 nurses working in medical institutions where nursing students practiced, and the selection criteria were nurses with more than two years of clinical education experience; data were collected using structured questionnaires. Results: More than half of the clinical nurses had completed a preceptor training program for clinical nursing education, and the subjects mainly educated by nurses were new graduate nurses and nursing students. The obstacles to clinical nursing education were lack of compensation, lack of manpower, lack of patient nursing time, excessive workload, and lack of knowledge as educators. The educational methods preferred in continuing education were small-group workshops and online education. The desired educational topics in continuing education were current nursing practice standards, simulation nursing education, and the role of clinical nursing educators. Conclusion: Based on our results, it is necessary to understand the importance of clinical nursing education, which is essential for clinical nurses, to prepare a specific system for them and to develop and operate a systematic education program according to medical institutions' characteristics.
