A Study on the Role of Art Museums and Experience of Museum Visitors Based on Social Platform (미술관의 소셜플랫폼 역할과 관람객 체험)

  • The development of social platforms and digital technology has promoted the age of the communication in our society. As online communication has become commonplace, expressing feelings, thoughts and experiences on the Internet has become an everyday routine. Among them, SNS is one of the representative platforms for expressing oneself easily and interacting with other users. The way of communicating with the SNS about what they did and what experiences they experienced from one's everyday lives became more common. As a result, the museum makes various efforts to enhance visitors' attention and interest with the use of SNS. It provides a content-based programs and museum environment that allow visitors to enjoy playing and learning at the same time. This study will explore not only a simple appreciation, but also the way of communicating to everyday life in terms of the changes for museum environment through the development, implementation and adaptations of digital technology. Through this, mobile-based communication with SNS provides various values and quality of museum visit, can be completed with meaningful museum experience, and various roles and functions of the museum are examined in terms of social platform of experience.

Exploratory Study on Purchasing Fashion Products from Small Business Owners -Focusing on the Consumer Life Cycle and Purchasing Stage- (패션 소상공인 제품 구매에 대한 탐색적 연구 -소비자 생애주기와 구매단계를 중심으로-)

  • This study explored the process by which consumers purchase products from small fashion business owners via online and mobile channels. In addition, group types were classified given that the purchasing process depends on the consumers' life cycle. The consumer focus group interview (FGI) was conducted on 18 participants that were divided into six groups by age, work, and children. Results revealed that first, consumer journey comprised four stages. Factors influencing need recognition were "attention to information of social media influencer," "attention to information of affiliated groups," and "repeated advertising of SME products/brands." For information searching, "exploring purchase reviews," "environment for mobile shopping information exploration," and "continuous product tracking" were important factors. Purchasing and shopping stages were affected by "price-free, improvised purchase decision" and "convenient mobile payment system and point benefits." After the purchase, "active sharing and repeated purchase when satisfied" and "blocking relationships when dissatisfied" occurred. Second, six consumer groups based on the fashion life cycle are the "Platform lover," "Influencer follower," "Trust builder," "Novelty seeker," "Convenience seeker," and "New designer supporter." Ultimately, small business owners can develop the process of planning and selling fashion products more efficiently.

Designing Mobile Application for Korean Traditional Markets Based on O2O Service Platform (O2O 서비스 기반 전통시장 주문 모바일 어플리케이션의 설계 및 개발)

  • This paper explored how to design amobile application for Korea's traditional markets based on O2O service and data science technologies. In order to cover a broader scope of customers, diversify the ways to sell products, and increase the profits of Korea's traditional markets, the application bridges online customers with offline stores at traditional markets and augments both convenience and accessibility. Beyond the typical face-to-face interactions between customers and sellers at traditional markets, this application offers mobile payments and personalized recommendations of nearby stores and preferable products using Beacon and datascience technologies. Moreover, it offers multi-language support for foreign customers who are not familiar with Korea's traditional markets and the products sold there. In conclusion, using O2O service, which is a rising trend among prevalent platform technologies, this study proposed a new e-commerce model for Korea's traditional markets to promote market expansion.

A Study on Substitutability and Complementarity of Music Downloading and Streaming and the Moderating Role of LTE Penetration on Its Relationship (디지털 음악의 다운로드와 스트리밍 서비스 간에 보완성과 대체성 및 LTE 보급률의 조절효과에 관한 연구)

  • Rapid technological innovation led by digitization has significantly changed the business of digital content goods, and has led to the emergence of new forms of services, such as music streaming. However, whether the streaming service is a threat to the traditional downloading service is still under debate. In this study, we examine whether music downloading is a substitute for or a complement to music streaming by investigating the moderating effects of LTE technology penetration. Using a unique dataset on the online music market from a dominant music platform in Korea, we found that music downloading services are complementary to music streaming services, but this complementary relationship is significantly and positively moderated by the introduction of LTE technology.

  • With the advent of the Internet-based economy, the dramatic changes in consumption patterns have been witnessed during the last decades. The seminal change has led by Data Technology, the integrated platform of mobile, online, offline and artificial intelligence, which remained unchallenged. In this paper, I use data analysis tool (TexTom) in order to articulate the definitfite notion of data technology from Internet sources. The data source is collected for last three years (November 2015 ~ November 2018) from Google and Naver. And I have derived several key keywords related to 'Data Technology'. As a result, it was found that the key keyword technologies of Big Data, O2O (Offline-to-Online), AI, IoT (Internet of things), and cloud computing are related to Data Technology. The results of this study can be used as useful information that can be referred to when the Data Technology age comes.

A Study on Fraud Detection in the C2C Used Trade Market Using Doc2vec

  • In this paper, we propose a machine learning model that can prevent fraudulent transactions in advance and interpret them using the XAI approach. For the experiment, we collected a real data set of 12,258 mobile phone sales posts from Joonggonara, a major domestic online C2C resale trading platform. Characteristics of the text corresponding to the post body were extracted using Doc2vec, dimensionality was reduced through PCA, and various derived variables were created based on previous research. To mitigate the data imbalance problem in the preprocessing stage, a complex sampling method that combines oversampling and undersampling was applied. Then, various machine learning models were built to detect fraudulent postings. As a result of the analysis, LightGBM showed the best performance compared to other machine learning models. And as a result of SHAP, if the price is unreasonably low compared to the market price and if there is no indication of the transaction area, there was a high probability that it was a fraudulent post. Also, high price, no safe transaction, the more the courier transaction, and the higher the ratio of 0 in the price also led to fraud.

  • NC Soft will continue to dream of an entertainment innovation world where customers are connected through game and contents. NC Soft images an expansion in entertainment industry which open doors to the future of enjoy break through innovative online game and creative AI & IT technologies, focused on new business opportunities that are solely NC's own. This study starts with the implication on why focusing on exploration innovation and exploitation strategy at the same time in NC Soft is so challenging. NC Soft manages to their online & mobile gaming competencies in the long term and achieves their sustainable growth by incremental innovation (e.g. game planning, game programming, and graphic design). Also, for innovative success, pursuing exploration strategy is essential. NC Soft have built a strategic alliance spanning K-POP, digital contents platform, movie, and animation, sharing the connectivity of entertainment domains with major contents corporations. The findings of this study would also beneficial to entertainment and contents corporation executives and could provide some road-map on managing the dual challenges of exploration and exploitation implementations.

Factors driving Fashion Chatbot Reliability -Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Perceived Intelligence and Positive Cognition- (패션상품 챗봇에 대한 신뢰 형성 요인 - 지각된 지능과 긍정적 인지의 매개효과를 중심으로 -)

  • This study explores the effect of anthropomorphism on fashion chatbot reliability, mediated by perceived intelligence and cognitive evaluation. The moderating effects of individuals' need for human interaction between chatbot anthropomorphism and perceived intelligence, cognitive evaluation, and chatbot reliability are also explored. Participants, who were recruited through the online research firm, responded to questions after watching a video clip showing a conversation with a fashion chatbot on a mobile screen. The data were collected through Mturk, a crowdsourcing platform with an online research panel. All responses (N = 212) were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 for the descriptive statistics, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and PROCESS procedure. The results demonstrate that chatbot anthropomorphism increases chatbot reliability, and this is mediated by chatbot intelligence. Although chatbot anthropomorphism increases cognitive evaluation, the effect of cognitive evaluation on chatbot reliability is not significant; thereby, the effect of chatbot anthropomorphism on chatbot reliability is not mediated by the cognitive evaluation. The direct effect of anthropomorphism on chatbot reliability is also moderated by individuals' need for human interaction. For participants with a high need for human interaction, chatbot anthropomorphism increases chatbot reliability; however, anthropomorphism does not significantly affect chatbot reliability for participants with a low need for human interaction. The study's findings contribute to expanding the literature on consumers' new technology acceptance by testing the antecedents affecting service reliability.

Influence of product category and features on fashion recommendation service algorithm (패션 추천서비스 알고리즘에서 상품유형과 속성 조합의 영향)

  • The online fashion market in the 21st century has shown rapid growth. Against this backdrop, using consumer activity data to provide customized customer services has emerged as a viable business model that draws attention. Algorithm-based personalized recommendation services are a good example. But their application in fashion products has clear limitations. It is not easy to identify consumers' perceptions of the attributes of fashion, which are various, hard to define, and very sensitive to trends. So there is a need to compile data on consumers' underlying awareness and to carry out defined research to increase the utilization of such services in the fashion industry and further engage consumers. This research aims to classify the attributes and types of fashion products and to identify consumers' perceptions of a given situation where a recommendation service is offered. To find out consumers' perceptions of and satisfaction with recommendation services, an online and mobile survey was conducted on women in their 20s and 30s, a group that uses recommendation services frequently. A total of 455 responses were used for analysis. SPSS 28.0 was used, combined with Conjoint Analysis and multiple regression, to analyze data. The study results could provide insights into a better understanding of recommendation services and be used as basic data for companies to identify consumers' preferences and draw up a detailed strategy for market segmentation.

A Case Study: Design and Develop e-Learning Content for Korean Local Government Officials in the Pandemic

  • e-Learning content can be defined as digital content to achieve educational goals. Since it is an educational material that can be distributed in offline, online, and mobile environments, it is important to create content that meets the learner's education environment and educational goals. In particular, if the learner is a public official, the vision, philosophy, and characteristics of each local government must reflect. As non-face-to-face online education expands further due to the COVID-19 pandemic, local governments that have relied on onsite education in the past urgently require developing strong basic competency education and special task competency content that reflect regional characteristics. Such e-learning content, however, hardly exists and the ability to independently develop them is also insufficient. In this circumstance, this case study describes the process of self-production of e-learning content suitable for Busan's characteristics by the Human Resource Development (HRD) Institute of Busan City, a local government. The field of instructional design and instructional technology is always evolving and growing by blending technological innovation into instructional platform design and adapting to the changes in society. Busan HRD Institute (BHI), therefore, tried to implement blended learning by developing content that reflected the recent trend of micro-learning in e-learning through a detailed analysis. For this, an e-learning content developer with certain requirements was selected and contracted, and the process of developing content through a collaboration between the client and developer was described in this study according to the ADDIE model of Instructional Systems Development (ISD).
