Unknown Inputs Observer Design Via Block Pulse Functions

  • Unknown inputs observer(UIO) which is achieved by the coordinate transformation method has the differential of system outputs in the observer and the equation for unknown inputs estimation. Generally, the differential of system outputs in the observer can be eliminated by defining a new variable. But it brings about the partition of the observer into two subsystems and need of an additional differential of system outputs still remained to estimate the unknown inputs. Therefore, the block pulse function expansions and its differential operation which is a newly derived in this paper are presented to alleviate such problems from an algebraic form.

  • This paper investigates the problem of goodness of fit tests for no effect model. The proposed test statistic $Z_{mn}$ is obtained by multiplying constant on the model free curve estimation techniques. The small and large sample properties of$Z_{mn}$ are investigated and the good results of power studies for the proposed test are illustrated.

  • In this paper, optimal change times are determined for fully three-step stress accelerated life tests, which minimize the asymptotic variance for maximum likelihood estimator of logarithm of the failure rate at the usual condition and exponential distribution is given for life time data.

  • Composite material made of recycling paper and plastics was developed. The tension and bending testing result of developed composite material shows that the cellulose contained in paper contributes much to get high flexural rigidity. As an application example, the raised access floor for office automation purpose was developed by making use of developed composite material. Manufacturing process together with the extrusion die and the compression die for to manufacture the access floor have been developed.

  • The objective of this research is to investigate the problem of goodness of fit testing based on nonparametric density estimation with a data-driven smoothing parameter. The small and large smaple properties of the proposed test statistic $Z_{mn}$ are investigated with the minimizer $\widehat{m}$ of the estimated mean integrated squared error by the Diggle and Hall (1986) method.

  • 한국의 배전선로 자동화시스템은 기술발전과 경제성을 고려하여 대규모와 소규모 시스템으로 나누어져 개발되어 설치 운영되고 있으며, 2001년 말까지 173개 사업소에 소규모 시스템이 설치 완료될 예정이다. 2002년부터는 서울시내를 시작으로 대규모 시스템이 설치되고 대도시를 중심으로 점차 소규모 시스템도 업그레이드 할 계획이므로 금년은 중대한 전환점이라 할 수 있다. 따라서 그동안의 배전선로 자동하 추진현황을 살펴보고 문제점을 고찰해 보았다.

  • 한국건설기술연구원 구조연구실에서는 한국전력공사 토건연구실과 공동으로 N5200기종을 이용하여 철근콘크리트로 된 건축라멘구조의 해석 및 설계를 일관작업으로 시행할 수 있는 프로그램 KARST.1을 개발하였다. 본래 OA(Office Automation)용으로 개발된 N5200 기종은 현재 많은 분야에 보급, 사용되고 있는 IBM PC호환기종 보다 그 보급대수는 적지만 국내 여러기관에서 사용되고 있으며 계속적인 기계 성능의 향상과 다양한 Utility를 제공함으로써 적용분야를 증가시킬 수 있으리라 본다. 그러나 과학기술용으로 적용하기에는 아직 불편한 점이 많아 이 기종을 사용하여 구조물해석, 설계용으로 프로그램을 개발할 때 발생된 문제점과 KARST.1의 기능 및 특징을 간단히 소개하겠다.

  • Utilizing smart phones based on android applications in the field of FA(Factory Automation) or PA(Production Automation) is being deployed actively. In general, MDM(Mobile Device Management) is a crucial infra-structure to build such a FA or PA environment. In this paper, we suggest an open mobile device management platform and implement its prototype. The developed prototype consists of three modules such as DMS(Device Management Server), FUMO(Firmware Update Management Object) and SCOMO(Software Component Management Object). In addition, we suggest a security module based on the concept of the EAP (Extensible Authentication Protocol) and the AES (Advanced Encryption Standard). The suggested security module's prototype is applied to guarantee the data integrity in the process of communicating among DMS, FUMO and SCOMO for the purpose of utilizing smart phones based on android applications in a FA field. We also evaluate the performance of the implemented security prototype. According to our simulation results, the implemented prototype has a good performance in a FA environment and can be utilized in the other FA, PA or OA(Office Automation) environment with guaranteeing the security.
