For data collection, a total of 14 papers published in academic journals between 2017 and 2021 were selected. The analysis method was performed according to the systematic review reporting guidelines presented by Cochrane Collaboration and the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) group. As a result of the analysis, two themes, Four sub-themes, and seventeen concepts were derived, and the clinical practice study of nursing college students showed the necessity of standardized clinical practice protocol regulations for nursing college students and respect for patient human rights. Based on the above research results, it is proposed to prepare a nursing and clinical practice protocol that can clearly present the role of nursing college students during clinical practice.

  • Purpose: This study investigated the effect of pressure injury nursing knowledge, and pressure injury nursing attitudes, on pressure injury nursing practice. Methods: Participants in this descriptive study were 141 nurses at 20 geriatric hospitals. Data was collected August 24, 2021- April 4, 2022, and analyzed in terms of Independent t-test and one-way ANOVA, Scheffé test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression, using the SPSS/WIN 27.0 program. Results: Pressure injury nursing practice positively correlated with pressure injury nursing attitudes (r= .44, p< .001). Factors influencing pressure injury nursing practice were pressure injury nursing attitudes (β= .43, p< .001), and gender (β= .21, p= .006). The model used in this study explains 22.8% of pressure injury nursing practice (Adjusted R2= 22.8, F= 11.30, p< .001). Conclusion: Results show factors that influence pressure injury nursing practice of nurses in geriatric hospitals. Based on the results, pressure injury nursing practice programs must include factors that improve pressure injury nursing attitudes. A follow-up study to confirm the impact of developing a program for increasing pressure injury nursing practice is also recommended.

  • This study was designed to compare the effect of internship and preceptorship on satisfaction of clinical practice in nursing students. A total of 46 third grade students were assigned to 2 groups; 23 to inturnship group, 23 to preceptorship group. Satisfaction scores of clinical practice instruction and practice environment in internship group were higher than satisfactory scores of preceptorship group. There were no difference between satisfactory scores of clinical practice contents, clinical practice hour and clinical practice environment in internship and preceptorship. Satisfaction scores on clinical practice weren't significantly correlated with school credits. There were significant correlations among clinical practice contents, practice environment, practice instruction and clinical practice hour. There were significant correlations among clinical practice instruction, practice environment and clinical practice evaluation. Clinical practice instruction was the highest factor predicting satisfaction of clinical practice. In stepwise multiple regression analysis, 100% of the variance in satisfaction of clinical practice was accounted for by clinical practice instruction(59.1%), clinical practice contents(14.9%), clinical practice environment(12.3), clinical practice hour(8.8%), and clinical practice evaluation(5.5%).

The subjects of this study were 379 senior nursing students in 2 nursing colleges in M city. The data were collected from November 5th to 24th, 2000, using questionnaire. The instruments used were the Stress of Clinical Practice Scale and the Clinical Competency Measurement Tool. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, using the SPSS program. The results of the study were as follows : 1. The mean score for the level of stress of clinical practice was 3.83 points. The stress of clinical practice were classified into six dimensions and their order of getting score was nurse(3.99), relationship between nursing theory and practice(3.94), human relationship (3.92), clinical education and evaluation by professors(3.87), environment(3.70), and patient(3.59). 2. The mean score for the level of clinical competency was 3.91 points. The clinical competency were classified into five dimensions and their order of getting score was professional development (4.08), skills (4.06) , interpersonal relationship/communication(3.95), teaching/coordinating(3.81), and nursing process(3.70), 3. The stress of clinical practice showed significant difference in the score of grade(t=-2.82, p=.005), interpersonal relationship(t=1.97, p=.049) and satisfaction of major(F=3.38, p=.035) of nursing students. 4. The clinical competency showed significant difference in the score of grade(t=-5.97, p=.000). interpersonal relationship(t=3.64, p=.000) and satisfaction of major(F=8.73, p=.000) of nursing students. 5. The data showed the positive correlations between stress of clinical practice and clinical competency(r=.209, p=.000). In conclusion. this study found that the stress of clinical practice was significantly related to clinical competency in nursing students. • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the conceptual structure of stressors experienced by nursing students during clinical practice. Methods: Ten men and 10 women nursing college students were interviewed. The results were 208 ideas. By synthesizing and editing these ideas, the final statement was trimmed down to 39 questions. The next step was to have the participants classify these 39 final questions. They were asked to rate stress scores using a five-point scale. Through multidimensional scaling analysis and hierarchical cluster analysis yielded dimensions and clusters. Results: Results of the study showed 2 dimensions which were classified as 'interpersonal relationship-practice system' and 'identity-practice environment'. It also yielded 8 clusters which were classified as 'role confusion', 'gender discrimination', 'attitudes of medical personnel and patients', 'comparison between fellow students', 'difference between theory and practice', 'disestablishing the role of practice guide', 'interference with training', and 'problems of the practice environment'. Further, stress factors and stress levels were differentiated depending on the gender of the student. Conclusion: The results of the study indicate that educators who are developing clinical practice programs and clinical practitioners should consider stressors during clinical practice and the educational implications to nursing students.
