보행은 인간의 기본적이면서 중요한 교통수단이다. 최근 들어 보행자 사고와 관련하여 보행안전이 중요시되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 보행환경요소가 보행안전에 영향을 미치는지 살펴보았다. 선행연구에서 15개의 보행환경요소를 추출하여 설문조사를 실시하였고, 요인분석을 통해 4개의 요인을 추출하였다. 다중회귀분석 결과 F-value는 9.211, P-value는 0.000으로 귀무가설이 기각되어 보행환경요인은 보행안전에 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 영향력은 보도특성, 경관성, 상업성, 보행특성의 순으로, 특히 경관성과 보도특성은 유의미한 것으로 분석되었다.

본 논문에서는 단일 주파수 망을 이용하는 AT-DMB 시스템에서의 효율적인 송신기 검출을 위한 확산코드 슬라이싱 기술을 제안하였다. 각 송신 단말기 신호에 상관특성이 좋은 고유의 확산코드를 AT-DMB 프레임의 Null 심벌의 일부에 나누어 할당하고, 수신기에서는 송신 단말기의 고유 코드를 이용하여 다른 단말기의 신호 간섭 상황 하에서도 원하는 신호를 검출하여 수신할 수 있게 한다. 제안된 기법에 의해 얻어진 송신기 정보는 주파수를 효율적으로 사용하기 위한 기술인 SFN 구현을 위해 필요하다. 본 논문의 결과는 무선 디지털 방송 통신 시스템 구현에 적용될 수 있다.

A random profile is the result of a process, the output of which is a function instead of a scalar or vector quantity. In the nature of these objects, two main dimensions of "functionality" and "randomness" can be recognized. Valuable researches have been conducted to present control charts for monitoring such processes in which a regression approach has been applied by focusing on "randomness" of profiles. Performing other statistical techniques such as hypothesis testing for different parameters, comparing parameters of two populations, ANOVA, DOE, etc. has been postponed thus far, because the "functional" nature of profiles is ignored. In this paper, first, some needed theorems are proven with an applied approach, so that be understandable for an engineer which is unfamiliar with advanced mathematical analysis. Then, as an application of that, a statistical test is designed for mean of continuous random profiles. Finally, using experimental operating characteristic curves obtained in computer simulation, it is demonstrated that the presented tests are properly able to recognize deviations in the null hypothesis.

본 논문에서는 가변 데이터 전송 가능한 텔레메트리 송신기의 구조에 대해 연구하였다. 가변 데이터 전송을 위하여 가변 컷오프 특성을 가지는 VPMF (variable pre-modulation filter)와 가변입력 샘플레이트 변환기 (variable input sample rate converter)가 결합된 구조를 제안한다. VPMF는 일반적인 PMF (pre-modulation filter)와 동일하게 변조 전 신호의 고주파 성분을 억제하여 RF (radio frequency)신호의 대역을 제한하는 특성을 지니며, 추가적으로 입력 데이터율에 따라 가변 컷오프 특성을 갖는다. 가변입력 샘플레이트 변환기는 입력 데이터율 변경 시 추가적인 구조변경 없이 입력 데이터율과 무관하게 출력을 일정한 샘플링 속도로 변환하는 기능을 갖는다. 추가적으로 실시간 변화하는 데이터양에 대응하기 위해 VPMF와 가변입력 샘플레이트 변환기를 능동적으로 제어하는 소프트웨어 프로그램 기법을 제안한다. 제안 방법을 적용하여 시뮬레이션과 실제 제작을 통하여 입력 데이터율 390 kbps ~ 25 Mbps 범위에서 IRIG (inter-range instrumentation group) 표준의 99% 전력 대역폭, null-to-null 대역폭, 1st IMD (inter modulation distortion) 비교 결과 규격을 만족하는 데이터 전송이 가능함을 확인하였다.

본 논문에서는 지능형 주차검지센서에 장착하기 위한 ISM-대역(중심주파수 447 MHz) 소형화된 역 F 안테나를 제안하였다. 먼저 제한된 크기를 가진 지능형 주차검지센서 모듈(72 mm × 70 mm)내에 안테나를 내장하기 위해, ISM-대역의 낮은 주파수 447 MHz(파장 λ : 670mm)에서 폴디드 형태의 역 F 안테나를 설계하였다. 그 결과, ISM 대역(중심주파수 447 MHz)에서 공진하며, -10 dB 대역폭 13 MHz(2.9%)로 적합한 특성을 얻었다. 또한, 수직·수평소자에 의한 H-plane 패턴은 null point가 제거된 전방향성 패턴을 나타내며, E-plane은 특정 방향으로 지향성을 가지므로, 주차장에서의 차량 관리용 안테나로써 적합함을 확인하였다.

입력임피던스를 크게 하기 위하여 널리 사용되는 접힌 안테나의 임피이던스 변환비와 견환비에 따른 입력어드미턴스의 변화모양을 Moment법에 의하여 계산했다. 계산결과는 Guertler의 공식에 의한 것과 비교하여 이론적타당성을 확인한다. 절힌 안테나의 입력콘덕턴스는 공진주파수보다 다소 낮은 고파수에서 최대로 되고 써셉턴스는 주기적 성질을 가져서 안테나 두 소자의 굵기가 매우 다르지 않을 때는 몇 경의 주파수에서 0으로 된다. 또한 안테나 두 소자의 굴기차가 심할 수록 입력어드미턴스의 주파수에 대한 변화가 완만하여 좋은 주파수특성을 갖는다.

Baumgartner et al. (1998) proposed a novel statistical test for the null hypothesis that two independently drawn samples of data originate from the same population, and Murakami (2006) generalized the test statistic for more than two samples. Whereas the expressions of the exact density and distribution functions of the generalized Baumgartner statistic are not yet found, the characteristic function of its limiting distribution has been obtained. Due to the development of computational power, the Fourier series approximation can be readily utilized to accurately and efficiently approximate its density function based on its Laplace transform. Numerical examples show that the Fourier series method provides an accurate approximation for statistical quantities of the generalized Baumgartner statistic.

Multiple robotics systems with several sub-chains have a characteristic that grasp a common object with internal loading not to loose the grip. The investigation for the internal loading of a triple manipulator has been few as compared to a dual manipulator. In this paper, type of the internal loading for a triple manipulator system is investigated through analysis of the null space of the system. Several types of the internal loading are shown for general planar and spatial type triple robots, which rigidly grasp the common object. The general scheme is applied to analysis of the internal loading for the three-fingered and three-legged robots having a point contact with the grasped object.

Electro-pneumatic servo valve is an electro-mechanical device which converts electric signals into a proper pneumatic flow rate or pressure. In order to improve the overall performance of pneumatic servo systems, electro-pneumatic servo valves are required, which have fast dynamic characteristics, no air leakage at a null point, and can be fabricated at a low-cost. The first objective of this research is to design and to fabricate a new electro-pneumatic servo valve which satisfies the above-mentioned requirements. In order to design the mechanism of the servo valve optimally, the flow inside the valve depending upon the position of spool was analyzed variously, and on the basis of such analysis results, the valve mechanism, which was formed by combination of the spool and the sleeve, was designed and manufactured. And a tester for conducting an overall performance test was designed and manufactured, and as a result of conducting the flow rate test, the pressure test and the frequency test on the developed pneumatic servo valve.
