In this note, we propose a simple fuzzy linear regression model for fuzzy input-output data based on Tanaka's approach. Then an LP-based method to derived the satisfying solution of the decision making is developed.

Recently, some results of Blackwell's Theorem in which interarrival times are characterized as fuzzy variables under t-norm-based fuzzy operations are discussed by Hong. However, these results are invalid. In this note, we give counter examples of these results.

This note centers around the class M(A) of multipliers on a Gelfand algebra A. This class is a large subalgebra of the Banach algebra L(A). The aim of this note is to investigate some aspects concerning their local spectral properties of multipliers. In the last part of work we consider some applications to automatic continuity theory.

In this note we construct a sequence of Picard iterates suitable for the approximation of solutions of K-positive definite operator equations in arbitrary real Banach spaces. Explicit error estimate is obtained and convergence is shown to be as fast as a geometric progression.

In this short note we discuss degrees of twisted Alexander polynomials and demonstrate an explicit example of a closed 3-manifold which is related to the degree formula due to Friedl, Kim and Kitayama.
