This paper is to investigate the existence theorem for the semilinear fuzzy integrodifferential equation in ${E_N}$ by using the concept of fuzzy number whose values are normal, convex, upper semicontinuous and compactly supported interval in ${E_N}$. Main tool is successive iteration method.

A new approach to texture classification for quantitative ultrasound liver diagnosis using run difference matrix was developed. The run difference matrix comprised the gray level difference along with a distances. From this run difference matrix, we defined several vectors and parameters such as DOD, DGD, DAD vector, SHP, SMO, SMG, LDE, LDEL etc.Each parameter values calculated in fatty, cirrhotic, normal and chronic hepatitic liver images were plotted in a plane and we found that RDM method was more sensitive to small structural changes than the conventional run length method and showed improved classification ability between the diseases.

In this paper, a random subset selection procedure for the choice of the k best objects out of n primary measurements $Y_t$ is considered when only the associated measurements $X_t$ are available. In contrast to Yeo and David (1992), where only the ranks of the X's are needed, the present uses the observed X-values. The approach is illustrated numerically when X and Y are bivariate normal and the standard deviation of X is known.

In this paper, we considered an application of the bootstrap method for logit model. Estimation of type I error probability, the bootstrap p-values and bootstrap confidence intervals of parameter were proposed. Small sample Monte Carlo simulation were conducted in order to compare proposed method with existing normal theory based asymptotic method.

Exponetially weighted moving average(EWMA) control chart to simultaneously monitor correlation coefficients of several correlated quality variables under multivariate normal process are proposed. Performances of the proposed control charts are measured in terms of average run length(ARL) by simulation. Numerical results show that smaller values of smoothing constant are more efficient in terms of ARL.

A ten-year-old holstein cow was presented because of prolapse of the third eyelid and apparent hyperplasia of the right lower eyelid. Historical findings included increased appetite as well as polyuria and polydipsia for about two weeks. The most remarkable fadings on physical examination were a large periocular proliferative tissue and bleeding. Surgical incision was used both as a biopsy and therapeutic tool in holstein cow with mass. Histopathological examination of the mass revealed squamous cell carcinoma. Blood and milk tests of patient with squamous cell carcinomatosis were peformed, but normal values.

In this paper, we introduce several concepts of tightness for a sequence of random variables taking values in the space of normal and upper-semicontinuous fuzzy sets with compact support in $R^p$ and give some characterizations of their concepts. Also, counter-examples for the relationships between the concepts of tightness are given.

This paper deals with a vibration and efficiency characteristics of Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor according to the PM arrangement. The generated force such as the thrust, detent force, normal force and lateral force are compared with analysis values and experimental ones. Furthermore characteristics of vibration and efficiency are estimated by experiments.
