  • Let E be a real Banach space. Let T : E longrightarrow E be a map with F(T) : = { x $\in$ E : Tx = x} $\neq$ 0 and satisfying the accretive-type condition $\lambda\$\mid$x-Tx\$\mid$^2$, for all $x\inE,\;x^*\inf(T)\;and\;\lambda >0$. We prove some necessary and sufficient conditions for the convergence of the Mann iterative sequence to a fixed point of T.

  • Given a system of s independent 1-forms on a smooth manifold M of dimension m, we study the existence of integral manifolds by means of various generalized versions of the Frobenius theorem. In particular, we present necessary and sufficient conditions for there to exist s'-parameter (s' < s) family of integral manifolds of dimension p := m-s, and a necessary and sufficient condition for there to exist integral manifolds of dimension p', p' $\leq$ p. We also present examples and applications to complex analysis in several variables.

  • The problem we consider in this paper is more demanding than the problem of input-output linearization with state equivalence recently solved by Cheng, Isidori, Respondek, and Tarn. We request that the MIMO nonlinear system, for which the problem of input-output linearization with state-equivalence is solvable, can be decoupled. In exchange for further requirement like this, our problem produces more usable and informative results than the problem of input-output linearization with state-equivalence. We present the necessary and sufficient conditions for our problem to be solvable. We characterize each of the nonlinear systems satisfying these conditions by a set of parameters which are invariant under the group action of state feedback and transformation. Using this set of parameters, we can determine directly the unique one, among the canonical forms of decouplable and controllable linear systems, to which a nonlinear system can be transformed via appropriate state feedback and transformation. Finally, we present the necessary and sufficient conditions for our problem to be solvable with internal stability, that is, for stable decoupling.

  • We define a broad class of rotation designs whose monthly sample is balanced in interview time, level of recall, and rotation group, and whose rotation scheme is time-invariant. The necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained for such designs. Using these conditions, we derive a minimum variance unbiased generalized composite estimator (MVUGCE). To examine the existence of time-in-sample bias and recall bias, we also propose unbiased estimators and their variances. Numerical examples investigate the impacts of design gap, non-sampling error sources, and two types of correlations on the variance of MVUGCE.

  • The purpose of education of propositional logic is to understand the basic structure of the mathematics and to improve the logical thinking in normal life. But in the seventh curriculum, some basic terms, for examples $\wedge$ and $\vee$, are not introduced, the proposition $p{\\rightarrow}q$ is not defined properly, and use the wrong term $\Rightarrow$ so that it is difficult to understand the propositional logic. In this paper, we present a suitable content for the propositional logic in high-school mathematical class. We also present a proper definition of the proposition $p{x}{\Rightarrow}q{x}$ without using the notation $\rightarrow$. We finally give proper definitions of necessary conditions, sufficient conditions, and necessary and sufficient conditions.

  • As an extension to the study of Toeplitz operators on the Bergman space, the notion of H-Toeplitz operators B is introduced and studied. Necessary and sufficient conditions under which H-Toeplitz operators become co-isometry and partial isometry are obtained. Some of the invariant subspaces and kernels of H-Toeplitz operators are studied. We have obtained the conditions for the compactness and Fredholmness for H-Toeplitz operators. In particular, it has been shown that a non-zero H-Toeplitz operator can not be a Fredholm operator on the Bergman space. Moreover, we have also discussed the necessary and sufficient conditions for commutativity of H-Toeplitz operators.

  • Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of diagonal, block-diagonal, and triangular decoupling controllers in linear multivariable systems for the most general setting are presented. The plant model in this study is sufficiently general to accommodate non-square plant and non-unity feedback cases with one-degree-of-freedom (1DOF) or two-degree-of-freedom (2DOF) controller configuration. The existence condition is described in terms of rank conditions on the coefficient matrices in partial fraction expansions.

  • The notion of transitive filters is introduced in lattice implication algebras. A necessary and sufficient condition is derived for every filter to become a transitive filter. Some sufficient conditions are also derived for a filter to become a transitive filter. The concept of absorbent filters is introduced and their properties are studied. A set of equivalent conditions is obtained for a filter to become an absorbent filter.

  • In this article, a new operation on product fuzzy graphs (PFGs) is provide; namely β-product. We give sufficient conditions for the β-product of two PFGs to be strong and we prove if the β-product of two PFGs is complete, then one of them is strong. We also study the unbiased notion of the class of PFGs and necessary and sufficient conditions for the β-product to be unbiased are given.

  • The article discusses roles of analysis in problem solving, especially the problem posing. The author shows the procedure of analysis like the presentation of the hypothesis, the reasoning for the necessary conditions and the sufficient condition. Finally the author suggests that the analysis should be reviewed in the school mathematics.
