  • Any place where exercise is common, such as a club, sports hall, or school, is considered a place for teaching sports. When doing sports, a very safe environment for sports should be chosen. The athlete should consider the safety of sports facilities and equipment, and if there is a defect, he should refrain from exercising in these places. The safety of sports facilities is very effective in creating people's sports activities, with the benefits of staying away from physical harm, enjoying sports, and having mental peace. Everyone has the right to participate in sports and recreation and to ensure that they enjoy a safe environment. The ability to manage and solve issues that may arise plays the most critical role in creating a safe environment. The quality of construction materials used for the construction of sports facilities is of great importance. In this work, the resistance and water repellency of concrete constituents for the construction of sports buildings have been investigated by nanoscience. Nano-concrete material solves the main problem of concrete surfaces, i.e., the entry of water and humidity into the structure. It also gives it a self-cleaning ability with its water repellency. Nanoparticles are placed between pores and cover the cracks, which causes roughness in the surface structure of concrete. The high roughness of the surface of the coated concrete caused its super-hydrophobicity. In hydrophobic surfaces, the higher the contact angle, the more hydrophobic the surface will be. In order to investigate the hydrophobic properties, silica nanoparticles, silica nanoparticles, and fly ash were prepared on concrete, and their properties were analyzed.

  • Applications of scaled telemanipulation into micro or nano world that shows many different features from directly human interfaced tools have been increased continuously. Here, we have to consider many aspects of scaling such as force, position, and impedance. For instance, what will be the possible range of force and position scaling with a specific level of performance and stability\ulcorner This knowledge of feasible staling region can be critical to human operator safety. In this paper, we show the upper bound of the product of force and position scaling and simulation results of 1DOF scaled system by using the Llewellyn's unconditional stability in continuous and discrete domain showing the effect of sampling rate.

  • Recently, with increasing efficiency of DSC (photo-electrochemical using a nano-particle), The Performance of DSC solar generation system also needs improvement. The approach consists of a Fly-back DC-DC (transfer ratio 1:10) converter to boost the DSC cell voltage to 300VDC. The four switch (MOSFET) inverter is employed to produce 220V, 60Hz AC outputs. High performance, easy manufacturability, lower component count., safety and cost are addressed. Protection and diagnostic features form an important part of the design. Another highlight of the proposed design is the control strategy, which allows the inverter to adapt to the: requirements of the load as well as the power source. A unique aspect of the design is the use of the DSP TMS320LF2406 to control the inverter by current and voltage feed-back. Efficient and smooth control of the: power drawn from the DSC Cell is achieved by controlling the front end DC-DC converter in current mode.

  • Corrosion of reinforcement and deterioration of concrete short the lifetime of reinforced concrete structure and affect the safety of the structure. In particular, the corrosion of reinforcement causing the inner pressure of the interface between the concrete and reinforcement is known to significantly contribute to the premature deterioration of concrete structure. Several attempts have been made to predict the cracking time of the concrete structure. However, problems such as the lack of reproducibility of concrete tests and non-uniformity of materials have hampered thess kinds of studies. Thus, the mechanism of the concrete cracking due to reinforcement corrosion is in the way. This studymeasured the mechanical properties of corrosion products using the nano-indentation test method. Likewise, the critical thickness of corrosion products for the cracking of concrete cover was investigated using the finite element and experimental methods.

  • In this study, cell performance and thermal stability of lithium-ion cells with a polyimide (PI) separator are investigated. In comparison to conventional polyethylene (PE) separator, the PI separator exhibits distinct advantage in microporous structure, leading to superior reliability of the cell. The cells with PI separator exhibit good cell performances as same as the cells with PE separator, but their reliability was superior to the cell with PE separator. Especially in the hot-box test at 150 and 180℃, PI separator showed a contraction percentage close to 0% at 150℃, while the PE separator showed a contraction percentage greater than 10% in both width and length. Therefore, the PI separator can be the promising candidate for separators of the next generation of lithium-ion battery.

  • Tape casting is an important forming operation used to prepare flat sheets in the various industries. In this study, Doctor Blade tape casting of In-based low melting point alloy was carried out. The purpose of this investigation was to determine the possibility of applying the Doctor Blade tape casting process to the manufacture of low melting point alloy sheets that can be used as thermal fusible parts of battery safety systems. In-based molten alloy that has a melting point of $95^{\circ}C$ was produced; it's viscosity was measured at various temperatures. The molten alloy was used as a slip in the caster of the Doctor Blade tape casting system. The effects of the molten alloy temperatures and carrier speeds on the produced sheet shape were observed. For the casting conditions of 1.5 cm slip height, $120^{\circ}C$ slip temperature, 0.05 mm blade gap and 60 m/min. carrier speed, an In-based alloy thin tape well shaped with 0.16 mm uniform thickness was continuously produced.

  • A strain energy density function is used to characterize the hyperelasticity of rubber-like materials. Conventional models, such as the Neo-Hookean, Mooney-Rivlin, and Ogden models, are widely used in automotive industries, in which the strain potential is derived from strain invariants or principal stretch ratios. A fitting procedure for experimental data is required to determine material constants for each model. However, due to the complexities of the mathematical expression, these models can only produce an accurate curve fitting in a specified strain range of the material. In this study, a hyperelastic model for Neodymium Butadiene rubber is developed by using the Artificial Neural Network. Comparing the analytical results to those obtained by conventional models revealed that the proposed model shows better agreement for both uniaxial and equibiaxial test data of the rubber.

  • Granting self-sensing performance in a building is an important performance to ensure the degree of damage and safety of the building. Since the current research is being conducted in the state before deterioration loss occurs, it is necessary to confirm whether the self-sensing performance is maintained even in the damaged conductive cement composite. As part of the study, electrical resistance characteristics were analyzed in conductive cement composites in which freeze-thawing and chemical corrosion occurred. As a result, it was found that the change in electrical resistance value due to freeze-thawing was not as large as 1%, and chemical corrosion occurred. It was found that the change in electrical resistance value of the tested specimen increased by about 10%.

  • In-Bi-Sn alloy sheet has been used as a thermal fusible parts of secondary battery safety system. This study offers a simple process to make In-Bi-Sn alloy fusible parts. The process consists of two procedures, melting and sheeting by tape casting. 62.5 wt%-In 20.0 wt%-Bi 17.5 wt%-Sn (M.P. $92.4^{\circ}C$) alloy sheet obtained by tape casting was used as the thermal fusible sheet of thermal fuse system for mobile telephone. The performance test of the system was carried out in oil bath, and the fusible alloy sheet was melted and cut off at $95^{\circ}C$. This results confirmed the possibility that the alloy sheet obtained by tape casting can be usable as a thermal fusible parts of battery safety system. And this process can be applied as a simple process to recycle the In-Bi-Sn alloy scrap separated from the used thermal fuse system.
