MPEG 카오스 암호화 과정의 새로운 접근방법 (A new approach on Chaotic Encryption Process in a MPEG)

  • 현재 인터넷이 생활의 일부로 자리함으로써 인터넷을 통해 수많은 멀티미디어의 교환이 발생하며, 많은 멀티미디어 서비스가 이루어지고 있다. 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공함에 있어 최근 저작권 관리 및 보호의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이에 따라 멀티미디어 데이터에 대한 암호기술 개발에 많은 연구가 진행되고 있으며 카오스 사상에 기반 한 암호화 연구가 최근 연구 추세이다. 본 논문은 MPEG(Moving Picture Experts Group) 인코딩 과정에서 1차원 카오스 사상(Map)을 이용하여 인트라 블록을 암호화하는 새로운 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 본 제안 시스템은 MPEG 구조 기반으로 CKD(Chaotic Key Distributor)를 이용하여 확장된 키 값으로 인트라 블록의 0이 아닌 DCT(Discrete Cosine Transform) 계수를 암호화 하는 방법이다. MPEG 인코딩 과정중 DCT 계수는 양자화를 통해 손실이 발생하더라도 비교적 많은 0값을 생성한다. 이는 RLE(Run Length Encoding) 과정에서 압축 효과를 높일 수 있다. 제안하는 방법은 영상 손실을 감수하고 수행한 양자화 과정의 효과를 유지하기 위하여 0이 아닌 DCT 계수만을 암호화 한다. 실험 결과 원본과 암호화된 MPEG의 크기의 변화는 매우 적으며, 인코딩 시간 또한 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다.

  • Viruses belonging to the Hantavirus genus cause two acute severe illness in humans, i.e., Haemorrhagic Fever with Renal Syndrome (HFRS) and Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome(HPS). Among them, Hantaan virus is one of the most important viruses causing HFRS. Recombinant expression vectors, pKK-NP and pET-NP, with Hantaan viral nucleocapsid gene were constructed, and used to transform Eschericia coli BL21(DE3). Stability of the vectors in the host strain, and effects of some environmental conditions on the expression of nucleocapsid gene were studied. Expression vector, pKK-NP, was very unstable, and the expression level of nucleocapsid gene was very low compared to that of pET-NP. BL21(pET-NP) produced about 100 mg of N protein per liter of culture broth. Induction time did not show any significant difference on the expression level of nucleocapsid gen and cell growth. BL21(pET-NP) culture at 35$^{\circ}C$ showed a little higher expression level than at 30$^{\circ}C$ during growth phase, but reached to the same level at stationary phase. Total expression level was proportional to supplemented glucose concentration of media up to 0.5% along with cell growth, but expression level per unit cell mass was inversely proportional to glucose concentration and maximal when glucose was not supplemented at all.

Optimization of Reaction Conditions for High Yield Synthesis of Carbon Nanotube Bundles by Low-Temperature Solvothermal Process and Study of their H2 Storage Capacity

  • Synthesis of Carbon Nanotube bundles has been achieved by simple and economical solvothermal procedure at very low temperature of $180^{\circ}C$. The product yield obtained was about 70-75%. The optimization of reaction conditions for an efficient synthesis of CNTs has been presented. The CNTs are obtained by reduction of hexachlorobenzene in the presence of Na/Ni in cyclohexane. The X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared and Raman spectral studies have inferred us the graphene structure of the products. The CNTs formed as the bundles were viewed on scanning electron microscope, transmission electron microscope and high-resolution transmission electron microscope. These are the multiwalled CNTs with outer diameter of 5-10 nm, the inner diameter 2-4 nm and cross sectional diameter up to 5 nm. Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) based $N_2$ gas adsorption studies have been made to obtain BET surface area and $H_2$ storage capacity. Effect of the experimental variables such as reaction temperature, amount of catalyst and the amount of carbon source were investigated. It is found that they affect significantly on the product nature and yield.

달리기 시도 수 증가에 따른 VGRF 신호 성분의 Variability 분석 (Analysis of Variability for the Components of VGRF Signal via Increasing the Number of Attempt during Running)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the variability of components of the vertical ground reaction force signal to seek the suitable number of attempt datum to be analyzed during running at 2m/s and 4m/s. For this study, six subjects (height mean:$174.5{\pm}4.4cm$, weight $671.5{\pm}116.4N.$, age:$25.0{\pm}yrs.$) were selected and asked to run at least 3 times each run condition randomly. FFT(fast Fourier transform) was used to analyze the frequency domain analysis of the vertical ground reaction forces signal and an accumulated PSD (power spectrum density) was calculated to reconstruct the certain signal. To examine the deviation of the vertical ground reaction between signals collected from an different number of attempt, variability of frequency, magnitude of passive peak, time up to the passive peak and maximum load rate were determined in a coefficient of variance. The variability analysis revealed that when analyze the vertical reaction force components at 2m/s speed running, which belongs to slow pace relatively, it would be good to calculate these components from signal of one attempt, but 4m/s speed running needs data collected from two attempts to decrease the deviation of signal between attempts. In summary, when analyzing the frequency and passive peak of the vertical reaction force signal during the fast run, it should be considered the number of attempt.

볼륨 데이터를 위한 셀 기반 웨이브릿 압축 기법 (Cell-Based Wavelet Compression Method for Volume Data)

  • 본 논문은 방대한 크기의 볼륨 데이타를 효율적으로 렌더링하기 위한 셀 기반 웨이브릿 압축 방법을 제시한다. 이 방법은 볼륨을 작은 크기의 셀로 나누고, 셀 단위로 웨이브릿 변환을 한 다음 복원 순서에 따른 런-길이(run-length) 인코딩을 수행하여 높은 압축율과 빠른 복원을 제공한다. 또한 최근 복원 정보를 캐쉬 자료 구조에 효율적으로 저장하여 복원 시간을 단축시키고, 에러 임계치의 정규화로 비정규화된 웨이브릿 압축보다 빠른 속도로 정규화된 압축과 같은 고화질의 이미지를 생성하였다. 본 연구의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 {{}} 해상도의 볼륨 데이타를 압축하여 쉬어-? 분해(shear-warp factorization) 알고리즘에 적용한 결과, 손상이 거의 없는 상태로 약 27:1의 압축율이 얻어졌고, 약 3초의 렌더링 시간이 걸렸다.Abstract This paper presents an efficient cell-based wavelet compression method of large volume data. Volume data is divided into individual cell of {{}} voxels, and then wavelet transform is applied to each cell. The transformed cell is run-length encoded according to the reconstruction order resulting in a fairly good compression ratio and fast reconstruction. A cache structure is used to speed up the process of reconstruction and a threshold normalization scheme is presented to produce a higher quality rendered image. We have combined our compression method with shear-warp factorization, which is an accelerated volume rendering algorithm. Experimental results show the space requirement to be about 27:1 and the rendering time to be about 3 seconds for {{}} data sets while preserving the quality of an image as like as using original data.

Proton Transfer Reactions and Ion-Molecule Reactions of Ionized XCH2CH2Y (X and Y = OH or NH2)

  • Proton transfer reactions and ion-molecule reactions of bifunctional ethanes of $H_2NCH_2CH_2NH_2$, $H_2NCH_2CH_2OH$, and $HOCH_2CH_2OH$ were studied using Fourier transform mass spectrometry (FTMS). The rate constants for proton transfer reactions between the fragment ions and neutral molecules were obtained from the temporal variation of the ion abundances. The rate constants were consistent with the heats of reaction. The fastest proton transfer reactions were the reactions of $CH_2N^+$, $CHO^+$, and $CH_3O^+$ for $H_2NCH_2CH_2NH_2$, $H_2NCH_2CH_2OH$, and $HOCH_2CH_2OH$, respectively. The $[M+13]^+$ ion was formed by the ion-molecule reaction between $H_2C=NH_2 ^+$ or $H_2C=OH^+$ and the neutral molecule. The major product ions generated from the ion-molecule reactions between the protonated molecule and neutral molecule were $[2M+H]^+$, $[M+27]^+$, and $[M+15]^+$.

CNT/PVDF 압전 복합막의 제작과 전기적 특성 (Fabrication of CNT/PVDF Composite Film and Its Electrical Properties)

  • The carbon nanotube / poly-vinylidene fluoride (CNT/PVDF) composite films for the nano-generator devices were fabricated by spray coating method using the CNT/PVDF solution, which was prepared by adding PVDF pellets into the CNT dispersed N-Methyl-2-pyrroli-done (NMP) solution. The flexible CNT/PVDF composite films were investigated by the scanning electron microscopy, which revealed that the CNTs were uniformly dispersed in the PVDF matrix and thickness of the films was approximately $20{\mu}m$. Fourier transform infra-red spectra were used to investigate crystal structure of the as-spray-coated CNT/PVDF films, and we found that they revealed extremely large portion of the ${\beta}$ phase PVDF. The capacitance of the CNT/PVDF films increased by adding CNTs into the PVDF matrix, and finally saturated. However, the resistance didn't show any saturation effect in the CNT concentration range of 0~4 wt%. Finally, the resulting nano-generator devices revealed reasonable current output after given mechanical stress.

Analysis of Surface Tracking of Micro and Nano Size Alumina Filled Silicone Rubber for High Voltage AC Transmission

  • This paper discusses the experimental results in an effort to understand the tracking and erosion resistance of the micro and nano size $Al_2O_3$ filled silicone rubber (SIR) material which has been studied under the AC voltages, with ammonium chloride as a contaminant, as per IEC 60587 test procedures. The characteristic changes in the tracking resistance of the micro and nano size filled specimens were analyzed through leakage current measurement and the eroded masses were used to evaluate the relative erosion and tracking resistance of the composites. The fundamental, third and fifth harmonic of the leakage current during the tracking study were analyzed using moving average current technique. It was observed that the harmonic components of leakage current show good correlation with the tracking and erosion resistance of the material. The thermogravimetry-derivative thermo gravimetric (TG-DTG) studies were performed to understand the thermal degradation of the composites. The physical and chemical studies were carried out by using scanning electron microscope (SEM), Energy Dispersive X-ray analysis (EDAX) and Fourier Transform Infra-red (FTIR) Spectroscopy. The obtained result indicated that the performance of nano filled SIR was better than the micro filled SIR material when the % wt. of filler increased.

  • A least-squares identification method is studied that estimates a finite number of coefficients in the series expansion of a transfer function, where the expansion is in terms of recently introduced generalized basis functions, We will expand and generalize the orthogonal functions as basis functions for dynamical system representations. To this end, use is made of balanced realizations as inner transfer functions. The orthogonal functions can be considered as generalizations of, for example, the pulse functions, Laguerre functions, and Kautz functions, and give rise to an alternative series expansion of rational transfer functions. We show that the Laplace transform of the expansion for some sets$\Psi_{\kappa}(Z)$ is equivalent to a series expansion . Techniques based on this result are presented for obtaining the coefficients $c_{n}$ as those of a series. One of their important properties is that, if chosen properly, they can substantially increase the speed of convergence of the series expansion. This leads to accurate approximate models with only a few coefficients to be estimated. The set of Kautz functions is discussed in detail and, using the power-series equivalence, the truncation error is obtained.

Development of Thiourea-Formaldehyde Crosslinked Chitosan Membrane Networks for Separation of Cu (II) and Ni (II) Ions

  • Novel chitosan (CS) based membrane networks were developed by solution casting and followed by crosslinking with different crosslinkers such as glutaraldehyde, urea-formaldehyde, and thiourea-formaldehyde. The developed membrane networks were designated as CS-GA, CS-UF and CS-TF. Crosslinking reaction of CS membranes was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Membrane rigidity and compactness were studied by the differential scanning calorimetry. The surface morphology of CS membranes was characterized by scanning electron microscopy. The sorption behaviour with respect to contact time, initial pH and initial metal ion concentration were investigated. The maximum adsorption capacity of CS-GA, CS-UF and CS-TF sorbents was found to be 1.03, 1.2 and 1.18 mM/g for $Cu^{2+}$ and 1.48, 1.55 and 2.18 mM/g for $Ni^{2+}$ respectively. Swelling experiments have been performed on the membrane networks at $30^{\circ}C$. Desorption studies were performed in acid media and EDTA and it was found that the membranes are reusable for the metal ion removal for three cycles. The developed membranes could be successfully used for the separation of $Cu^{2+}$ and $Ni^{2+}$ metal ions from aqueous solutions.
