Let M and N be modules over a ring R. The purpose of this paper is to study modules M, N for which the bi-module [M, N] is regular or pi. It is proved that the bi-module [M, N] is regular if and only if a module N is semi M-projective and $Im({\alpha}){\subseteq}^{\oplus}N$ for all ${\alpha}{\in}[M,N]$, if and only if a module M is semi N-injective and $Ker({\alpha}){\subseteq}^{\oplus}N$ for all ${\alpha}{\in}[M,N]$. Also, it is proved that the bi-module [M, N] is pi if and only if a module N is direct M-projective and for any ${\alpha}{\in}[M,N]$ there exists ${\beta}{\in}[M,N]$ such that $Im({\alpha}{\beta}){\subseteq}^{\oplus}N$, if and only if a module M is direct N-injective and for any ${\alpha}{\in}[M,N]$ there exists ${\beta}{\in}[M,N]$ such that $Ker({\beta}{\alpha}){\subseteq}^{\oplus}M$. The relationship between the Jacobson radical and the (co)singular ideal of [M, N] is described.

Let (R, m) be a Noetherian local ring, I an ideal of R, and A an Artinian R-module. Let $k{\geq}0$ be an integer and $r=Width_{>k}(I,A)$ the supremum of length of A-cosequence in dimension > k in I defined by Nhan-Hoang [8]. It is shown that for all $t{\leq}r$ the sets $$(\bigcup_{i=0}^{t}Att_R(Tor_i^R(R/I^n,A)))_{{\geq}k}\;and\\(\bigcup_{i=0}^{t}Att_R(Tor_i^R(R/(a_1^{n_1},{\cdots},a_l^{n_l}),A)))_{{\geq}k}$$ are independent of the choice of $n,n_1,{\cdots},n_l$ for any system of generators ($a_1,{\cdots},a_l$) of I.

Let D be an integral domain with quotient field K, X be an indeterminate over D, K[X] be the polynomial ring over K, and $R=\{f{\in}K[X]{\mid}f(0){\in}D\}$; so R is a subring of K[X] containing D[X]. For $f=a_0+a_1X+{\cdots}+a_nX^n{\in}R$, let C(f) be the ideal of R generated by $a_0$, $a_1X$, ${\ldots}$, $a_nX^n$ and $N(H)=\{g{\in}R{\mid}C(g)_{\upsilon}=R\}$. In this paper, we study two rings $R_{N(H)}$ and $Kr(R,{\upsilon})=\{{\frac{f}{g}}{\mid}f,g{\in}R,\;g{\neq}0,{\text{ and }}C(f){\subseteq}C(g)_{\upsilon}\}$. We then use these two rings to give some examples which show that the results of [4] are the best generalizations of Nagata rings and Kronecker function rings to graded integral domains.

Let R be a prime ring (or semiprime ring) with center Z(R), I a nonzero ideal of R, T an automorphism of $R,S:R^n{\rightarrow}R$ be a symmetric skew n-derivation associated with the automorphism T and ${\Delta}$ is the trace of S. In this paper, we shall prove that S($x_1,{\ldots},x_n$) = 0 for all $x_1,{\ldots},x_n{\in}R$ if any one of the following holds: i) ${\Delta}(x)=0$, ii) [${\Delta}(x),T(x)]=0$ for all $x{\in}I$. Moreover, we prove that if $[{\Delta}(x),T(x)]{\in}Z(R)$ for all $x{\in}I$, then R is a commutative ring.

For an ideal $\mathcal{I}$ of a preadditive category $\mathcal{A}$, we study when the canonical functor $\mathcal{C}:\mathcal{A}{\rightarrow}\mathcal{A}/\mathcal{I}$ is local. We prove that there exists a largest full subcategory $\mathcal{C}$ of $\mathcal{A}$, for which the canonical functor $\mathcal{C}:\mathcal{C}{\rightarrow}\mathcal{C}/\mathcal{I}$ is local. Under this condition, the functor $\mathcal{C}$, turns out to be a weak equivalence between $\mathcal{C}$, and $\mathcal{C}/\mathcal{I}$. If $\mathcal{A}$ is additive (with splitting idempotents), then $\mathcal{C}$ is additive (with splitting idempotents). The category $\mathcal{C}$ is ample in several cases, such as the case when $\mathcal{A}$=Mod-R and $\mathcal{I}$ is the ideal ${\Delta}$ of all morphisms with essential kernel. In this case, the category $\mathcal{C}$ contains, for instance, the full subcategory $\mathcal{F}$ of Mod-R whose objects are all the continuous modules. The advantage in passing from the category $\mathcal{F}$ to the category $\mathcal{F}/\mathcal{I}$ lies in the fact that, although the two categories $\mathcal{F}$ and $\mathcal{F}/\mathcal{I}$ are weakly equivalent, every endomorphism has a kernel and a cokernel in $\mathcal{F}/{\Delta}$, which is not true in $\mathcal{F}$. In the final section, we extend our theory from the case of one ideal$\mathcal{I}$ to the case of $n$ ideals $\mathcal{I}_$, ${\ldots}$, $\mathca{l}_n$.

Purpose: This descriptive study was to explore the factors relating to Social Physique Anxiety(SPA) in the adolescent girls(N=700). These factors included the biological(level of school[age], period of menstruation, and BMI), the sociocultural(Influence of Mass Media, [IMM], Stereotype of Ideal Female Body[SIFB], type of school, perceived figure, and ideal figure) and the BW control-related factors(experience of bodyweight [BW] control, satisfaction at the result of BW control, and motive of BW control). Method: The sample was 700 girls of the middle and high schools in Jeju-do. The data was collected by the self-reported questionnaire and processed with the SPSS Win 12.0 program. Result: 26% of the variance in SPA was explained by the biological factors(level of school) and the sociocultural factors (perceived figure, ideal figure, type of school, and IMM). SPA, IMM, and SIFB were significantly correlated with each others(r=1,65-2.92, p<.05). The mean SPA scores according to BW control-related factors were significantly different. Conclusion: This results suggest that media education is necessary to reduce or eliminate the adolescent girl's SPA. In addition, SPA needs to be considered as the important concept for the future nursing researches and interventions related to BW control.

In recent years, the number of returnfarmer is increasing in Korea, interlinked with baby boomer's retirement. One of the returnfarmer's serious problems is the decision making for his returnfarm place. This study intends to get information about a ideal returnfarm place by interpreting Jung-Hwan Lee's written in the Choseon Dynasty, and to use it for returnfarmer's decision making as a lesson in the present age. In the results, this study could finds 8 evaluation criteria in his book except his 4 requirements for a ideal place to live : Ji-ri(地理, geographic), Saeng-ri(生理, physiology), In-sim(人心, popular mind), and San-su(山水, landscape), which are (1) distance from seoul, (2)multi-habitation, (3)convenient transportation, (4)a natural disaster, (5)thief(public order), (6)refuge from a war & escaping from a troubled society, (7)feeling from a place, and (8)Jang-gi(poison coming from earth).

In this paper, we study the Green ring r(𝔴⁰_n) of the weak Hopf algebra 𝔴⁰_n based on Taft Hopf algebra H_n(q). Let R(𝔴⁰_n) := r(𝔴⁰_n) ⊗_ℤ ℂ be the Green algebra corresponding to the Green ring r(𝔴⁰_n). We first determine all finite dimensional simple modules of the Green algebra R(𝔴⁰_n), which is based on the observations of the roots of the generating relations associated with the Green ring r(𝔴⁰_n). Then we show that the nilpotent elements in r(𝔴⁰_n) can be written as a sum of finite dimensional indecomposable projective 𝔴⁰_n-modules. The Jacobson radical J(r(𝔴⁰_n)) of r(𝔴⁰_n) is a principal ideal, and its rank equals n - 1. Furthermore, we classify all finite dimensional non-simple indecomposable R(𝔴⁰_n)-modules. It turns out that R(𝔴⁰_n) has n² - n + 2 simple modules of dimension 1, and n non-simple indecomposable modules of dimension 2.

In the case of high voltage devices, junction termination plays an important role in determining the breakdown voltage of the device. The mesa junction termination has been demonstrated to yield nearly ideal breakdown voltage for 6H-SiC p-n junctions. However, such an approach may not be attractive because of the nonplanar surface, which is difficult to passivate. Moreover, In case of 4H-SiC, ideal breakdown voltage could not be achieved using mesa junction termination. For 4H-SiC planar junction termination technique is more useful one rather than mesa junction termination. In this paper, breakdown characteristics of the 4H-SiC device with planar junction termination, such as FLR(Field Limiting Ring), FP(Field Plate) and JTE(Junction Termination Extension), is presented. In the case of the FLR, breakdown voltage of 1800V is obtained. And breakdown voltage of 1000V and 1150V is also obtained for the case of FP and JTE case, respectively.
