본 연구는 전래동요에 기초한 음악놀이활동이 유아의 국악능력과 국악흥미도, 놀이성에 미치는 영향이 어떠한가를 분석해보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 W시에 위치한 어린이집의 만 5세 두 학급의 유아 28명을 선정하여, 실험집단을 대상으로 전래동요에 기초한 음악놀이활동을 적용하였으며, 비교집단에는 가창 중심의 전래동요 지도와 누리과정에 기초한 주제 중심의 음악활동을 적용하였다. 수집된 자료를 토대로 두집단의 사전검사 점수를 공변인으로 한 공변량분석을 실시하였으며 분석결과, 전래동요에 기초한 음악놀이활동이 유아의 국악능력과 국악흥미도, 놀이성을 통계적으로 유의하게 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 연구의 결과는 음악놀이가 전래동요에 내재한 놀이성과 연계되어 국악교육을 위한 효과적인 교수방법으로 적용될 수 있음을 시사한다.

이 연구는 만화 원작을 소재로 한 뮤지컬의 기획과 스토리텔링 및 마케팅체계를 분석하여 만화의 뮤지컬화 과정에서 만화의 특성이 어떻게 고려되고 있는가를 분석하는데 초점을 두었다. 이를 위하여 만화 '위대한 캣츠비'가 '뮤지컬 '위대한 캣츠비'로 재구성된 사례를 미디어믹스 관점에서 분석하였다. 사례분석은 만화를 활용한 뮤지컬의 기획 체계, 스토리텔링구조, 캐릭터설정, 마케팅 체계를 중심으로 이루어졌다. 분석결과, 만화의 세계관과 스토리텔링 체계는 뮤지컬의 기획 및 마케팅 과정에서도 중요한 요소로 고려되고 있지만, 작가주의 관점보다는 관객의 수요와 몰입을 유도하기 위한 관점에서 강조와 생략 및 변형을 통해 재구조화되는 것으로 나타났다. 뮤지컬의 비주얼스토리텔링 구조는 디지털영상과 무대관리, 그리고 음악을 활용하여 서사적 스토리텔링과 연결되는 종합적인 체계로 이루어져 있다. 그리고 만화뮤지컬은 스토리텔링과 캐릭터 설정과정에서 명확하고 대립적인 부분을 부각시키고, 갈등과 해소, 극적 반전, 코믹요소 활동 등을 통해 관객의 몰입을 유도하고 있다. 또한 만화의 시각적 이미지와 상징기호들은 뮤지컬의 디지털영상과 무대장치 및 소품 등 무대연출을 통해 뮤지컬특성에 맞게 재구성되고 있는 것을 나타났다. 결론적으로 만화의 뮤지컬화 작업은 기획, 제작, 마케팅 과정 전반에 걸쳐서 만화의 특성을 중심축으로 뮤지컬의 특성과 산업구조를 고려하여 이루어진다고 볼 수 있다.

본 연구의 목적은 국내외 뮤지컬관련학과의 교육과정을 비교분석하고 이를 토대로 우리나라 교육과정의 문제점과 보완점이 무엇인지 제시하는데 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내외의 교과과정의 차이를 비교하기기 위하여 4년제와 2~3년제 국내 대학의 뮤지컬관련학과와 국외로는 미국의 뮤지컬관련 학교 5개교, 프랑스 5개교를 선정하여 무용교육과정 수업실태를 연구하였다. 그 결과 우리나라의 뮤지컬 발전을 위해서는 교육과정의 개편이 필요하다는 결론을 도출 할 수 있었다. 첫째, 뮤지컬 현장에 맞는 체계적인 무용교육과정이 필요하다. 둘째, 다양화된 뮤지컬의 표현에 맞는 무용테크닉 수업을 강화해야 한다. 셋째, 특성화된 뮤지컬무용교과 교수법이 필요하다. 무엇보다 현장과 연계된 효율적인 교육방안이 필요하다. 뮤지컬을 공부하는 학생들은 연기, 노래, 무용을 동시에 수행해야하는 어려움에 직면해 있다. 이들 중 한 분야를 습득하기에도 어려운 것이 현실이다. 누구도 흉내 낼 수 없는 독창적인 한국스타일의 뮤지컬이라는 숙제를 해결하기 위해 대학에서의 체계적인 교육과정이 매우 중요하다.

Music brings pleasure and relaxation to people. Therefore, it is necessary to classify musical genres based on scenes. Identifying favorite musical genres from massive music data is a time-consuming and laborious task. Recent studies have suggested that machine learning algorithms are effective in distinguishing between various musical genres. However, meeting the actual requirements in terms of accuracy or timeliness is challenging. In this study, a hybrid machine learning model that combines a deep residual auto-encoder (DRAE) and support vector machine (SVM) for musical genre recognition was proposed. Eight manually extracted features from the Mel-frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCC) were employed in the preprocessing stage as the hybrid music data source. During the training stage, DRAE was employed to extract feature maps, which were then used as input for the SVM classifier. The experimental results indicated that this method achieved a 91.54% F1-score and 91.58% top-1 accuracy, outperforming existing approaches. This novel approach leverages deep architecture and conventional machine learning algorithms and provides a new horizon for musical genre classification tasks.

In this paper, we consider the relations between mathematics and music, for examples rational numbers with musical scales, irrational numbers with musical scales, the golden ratio with musical compositions, the Fourier analysis with overtones. Our aim in this paper is to enhance the students' mathematical abilities by using musical materials.

This aim of this study was to investigate the effects of the music appreciation teaching-learning method on the musical ability of young children. The music appreciation activities were developed firstly in consideration of the 4 steps of the learning cycle (recognition, exploration, inquiry, application). One group was then taught music appreciation, taking into account the learning cycle. The results were then compared with another comparative group in terms of musical ability. The results indicated that the musical ability sum of the treatment groups improved more than the comparative group. More specifically, the treatment group for four-year-olds was seen to have improved significantly more than the comparative group in terms of musical ability. These results indicate that this music appreciation teaching-learning method has a number of positive effects upon young children`s musical ability. Therefore, it is suggested that kindergarten teachers conduct instruction with an appropriate accompanying learning cycle as part of the teaching-learning method when it comes to improving the musical ability of young children.

음악 연구에 따른 컴퓨터의 역할이 점차 중요한 비중을 차지함에 따라 효과적인 악보 인식과 효율적인 악보의 편집 및 수정 방법이 요구된다. 기존의 수동 입력 방식에서는 악보를 부정확하게 입력하여 수정하는 경우에는 작업시간이 많이 소요되며, 각 수정 프로그램에서 만든 악보는 특정 프로그램에서만 재수정이 가능하다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점을 보완하기 위하여 이미 작성 되어있는 악보들을 자동으로 인식하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 악보 인식 방법은 수평 히스토그램을 이용하여 악보 이미지의 오선을 제거한 후, 4 방향 윤곽선 추적 알고리즘을 적용하여 잡음을 제거하고 Grassfire 알고리즘을 적응하여 악보 구성 기호들을 추출한다. 추출된 악보 구성 기호들은 hierarchical ART2 알고리즘을 적용하여 인식된다. 제안된 악보 인식 방법 의 성능을 평가하기 위해 100장의 악보 영상을 대상으로 실험한 결과, 제시된 hierarchical ART2 알고리즘을 이용한 악보 영상의 인식 방법이 효율적임을 확인하였다.

The purpose of this essay is three-fold: to trace the genealogy of the Korean musical, which ever since its inception in the 1960s has been seeking to modernize Korean theater with Broadway as a constant role model; to investigate how the national and the global conflict and are conflated in the form of the Korean musical in the process of its (dis)identification with Broadway; and to examine how its intercultural translations reveal and reflect the dilemma and ambivalence posed by globalization in our era. Drawing on Richard Dyer's signature article Entertainment and Utopia, I analyze how the Korean musical manifests and conduits competing utopian impulses of Korean/Global audiences. I also attempt to problematize the formulaic notion of Broadway musicalsthe Superior Other!which implies a global hegemony that does not, in fact, exist because the boundary between the global and the local as well as the power dynamics of global culture are not fixed but constantly moving and changing. Today's musical scene in Korea shows interesting reversals from the 1990s, when Korean producers were eager to debut on Broadway and impress American audiences. Korean producers no longer look up to Broadway as a final destination; instead they want to make Seoul a new Broadway. They import Broadway musicals and turn them into Korean shows. The glamor of Broadway is no longer the main attraction of musicals in Korea. What young audiences look for most is the glamor of K-pop idols and utopian feelings of abundance, energy, intensity, transparency and community, which they can experience live in the musical with their favorite stars right in front of their eyes. In conclusion, I delve into the complex dynamics of recent Korean musicals with Thomas Friedman's theory of Globalization 3.0 as reference. The binary formula of Global/America versus Local/Korea cannot be applied to the dynamic and intercultural musical scene of today. Globalization is not a uniform phenomenon but rather a twofold (multifold) process of global domination and dissemination, in which the global and the local conflict and are conflated constantly. As this study tries to illuminate, the Korean musical has evolved in a huge net of interdependences between the global and the local with a range of sources, powers and influences.

본고는 중국 뮤지컬 역사상 최초로 세계 뮤지컬 시장에 진출한 <디에>의 마케팅 성공요인을 분석하였고, <디에>의 성공이 중국 뮤지컬 발전에 끼친 긍정적인 영향들을 조사하였다. 먼저 뮤지컬 마케팅의 중요한 다섯가지 요소를 분석기준으로 정하였고, 이를 통해 중국 뮤지컬 <디에>의 성공 원인을 분석한 결과 '포지셔닝', '티켓 프로모션', 'PR 전략', '프로듀서', 'OSMU' 기법 등에 있어서 체계적인 전략 수립에 의한 마케팅 추진이 이루어졌음을 도출해낼 수 있었다. 중국 뮤지컬에 있어서 <디에>의 사례는 전문적인 마케팅에 의한 최초의 성공사례라고 볼 수 있으며, 이 같은 성과의 영향으로 중국 정부와 지자체의 뮤지컬 지원 제도들이 수립되었고 최근 몇 년 간 중국 뮤지컬은 질적인 면과 산업적인 면에서 빠르게 성장하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 중국 뮤지컬과 관련된 더 많은 학술 연구가 이루어지길 기대하며, 향후 작품성과 상품성을 고루 갖춘 뮤지컬 작품이 창출되는데 기여할 수 있는 자료로 쓰여 지는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다.
