요양시설에 거주하는 치매노인을 위한 웃음요법과 음악요법이 우울과 자율신경활성도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Laughing and Music Therapy on Depression and Activities of the Autonomic Nervous System in the Elderly with Dementia)

  • Purpose: This study was to identify the effects of laughing and music therapy on depression and the activities of the autonomic nervous system in the elderly with dementia. Methods: The participants were 61 seniors over 65 years old with dementia, admitted to nursing homes. Twenty of them received laughing therapy, 21 received music therapy and 18 were in the control group. A total of 59 patients' data were analyzed. Depression was measured by Cornell Scale for Depression in Dementia tool, and the activities of the autonomic nervous system by the heart rate variability measuring device. The data were analyzed by frequency and percentage, Chi-square test, t-test, ANOVA, and Tukey test. Results: The depression of the music therapy group was more significantly decreased than the laughing therapy group and the control group. The activities of the autonomic nervous system of the laughing therapy group were more significantly increased than the music therapy group. The magnitude of the activities of the autonomic nervous system of the laughing therapy group were more significantly increased than the music therapy group. Conclusion: This study showed that music therapy was more effective than laughing therapy for the decrease of depression. Laughing and music therapy were more effective than in the control group for increasing the activities of the para-sympathetic nervous system and decreasing the activities of the sympathetic nerve system.

만 5세 반 유아의 그림책을 활용한 음악 만들기프로그램이 음악 적성과 음악 창의성에 미치는 영향 (The Development and Effects of a Music Making Program Using Picture Books on Music Aptitude and Music Creativity for a Class of Five-year-old Children)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to develop a music making program that utilizes the characteristics of the picture books medium through the ADDIE model so that teachers can easily apply it to children, and to determine whether it affects children's musical aptitude and music creativity. Methods: The Participants of the study were 42 five-year-old children attending a daycare in Seoul, of which 20 were in the experimental group and 22 in the comparative group. The experimental group participated in a music production program using picture books, and during the same period, the comparison group participated in music activities suggested by the Nuri Course. Using the SPSS 22.0 program, average, standard deviation, independent sampling t-test, and ANCOVA(Analysis of Covariance) were calculated. Results: The music making program using picture books improved children's rhythm and tone which are the sub-items of music aptitude. The music making program enhanced children's music flexibility, music creativity, music logic which are the sub-items of music creativity. Conclusion/Implications: The music making program presented systemic teaching-learning method with which teachers explained the modeling and practiced from simple activities to various activities repeatedly in order to make teachers approach music making more easily. It is recommendable to make the music making program by using I-pad and computers.

『3-5세 누리과정 교사용 지도서』 음악활동에서 활용된 음악작품 분석 (An Analysis of the Musical Works of the Music Activities in Nuri Curriculum Guidebooks for Teachers of 3 to 5 Year Olds)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine how musical pieces were presented in music activities on the Teacher's Guidebooks in order for young children to experience the aesthetics of music. For the purposes of this research, the ways to address musical elements and the music activities of 100 musical works in the Teacher's Guidebooks were analyzed. In addition, the aesthetic qualities of the same musical pieces presented by the sound sources were examined. Following this, an analysis of the relationship between the elements used and the aesthetic qualities of the music was carried out by comparing the previous analysis. The results were as follows. First, melody (38.1%), rhythm (29.0%), and timbre (20.5%) were the most utilized elements of musical works in such activities. Secondly, the most utilized method to present music activities was singing. Among 100 musical pieces, 74 pieces used singing activities. Next, the most audible aesthetic quality from sound sources was that of the melody, presented in 69 pieces (46.6%) among 100 musical works. Lastly, among 100 musical works, at least 64 pieces were matched with more than one, whereas 34 did not.

노인의 음악치료 효과 증진을 위한 음악적 유형과 활동에 대한 선호도 조사 ( Survey on Preference of Musical Types and Activities for Improving Elderly Music Therapy)

  • 배경: 우리나라에서 노인에 대한 음악치료 지표에 관한 연구가 미진하여 연구의 필요성이 높다. 목적: 본 연구는 노인의 음악치료 효과 증진을 위한 음악 유형 및 활동에 대한 선호도 조사를 통해 음악치료 중재 프로그램 활용 방안을 제시하는 것에 목적을 둔다. 방법: 음악 선호도 조사를 위해 4개의 요양원에 있는 91명의 노인을 대상으로 진행하였다. 설문은 선호하는 노래와 악기의 유형, 음악치료에서 적용되는 음악적 활동(음악 감상, 노래 활동, 악기 연주, 음악적 움직임, 연주회 중심 활동)에 대한 선호도를 선택할 수 있도록 했다. 결과: 노인들은 대중가요와 민요를 선호했고, 노래를 들으며 움직이는 것을 가장 좋아하는 것으로 파악되었다. 음악적 활동 분야는 악기 연주를 가장 선호했으며, 악기는 무율 악기(리듬 악기) 중 드럼 종류와 쉐이커 종류를 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 이 연구 결과는 음악치료의 중요성이 부각되고 있는 노인을 위한 음악치료의 임상적인 효과를 높이기 위한 효율적인 중재 프로그램 구성을 위해 유용한 자료가 될 것으로 기대된다.

유아의 음악능력과 음악보존개념의 발달 (II) - 음악교습과 음률 교육이 미치는 영향 을 중심으로- (The Effects of Music Lesson and musical and Rhythmic Activities on Young Children's Musical Abilities and Musical Conservation Concepts)

  • The purpose of the present study was to investigated the effects of music lesson and musical and rhythmic activities on young Children's musical abilities and musical conservation concepts. Two kinds of tests aiming to measure musical abilities and musical conservation concept were administered to 117 children aged 5- to 7-year-old. The amount of music lesson at home was investigated. and musical and rhythmic activities at two preschools were observed and them evaluated in terms of their quality . The major findings were as follows ; 1)The individual music lessons at home played a significant role in developing young children's musical abilities and musical conservation concepts. 2) Young children's musical abilities and musical conservation concepts were significantly affected by the quality of musical and rhythmic activities. Especially, the quality of musical and rhythmic activities had significant effects on listening, rhythmic activities, and musical creativity among musical abilities. As to musical conservation concepts. only tempo conservation concept was affected by the quality of musical and rhythmic activities. The balanced activities in the five domains of music education were discussed. some suggestions of improving the quality of music education were provided.

보육교사의 음악-수학 통합활동에 대한 인식과 실제 (Childcare Teachers' Perceptions and Practices on Integrating Music-Mathematics Activities)

  • Objective: This study aimed to examine childcare teachers' perceptions and practice of music-math integrated activities, and their understanding of these activities. Methods: This study involved 201 childcare teachers from Seoul and surrounding areas. Surveys were employed to collect data on their background, implementation of music-math integrated activities, and the challenges they encountered. Additionally, a tool was also developed and utilized to measure the actual understanding of these activities. Data were analyzed using t-tests and ANOVA. Results: The results indicated that while teachers recognize the importance of integrated activities, they seldom implement them due to challenges related to resources and comprehension of concepts. Significant differences in the understanding of these activities were found based on teachers' experience, workplace type, age group of children under their care, and education level. Conclusion/Implications: In conclusion, the findings emphasize the necessity for the development and provision of pre-service and in-service training programs, along with support in educational materials for childcare teachers. These efforts are crucial to facilitate the effective implementation of music-math integrated activities.

유아음악활동에 대한 유아교사의 인식 (Early Childhood Teachers' Perception about Early Childhood Music Activity)

  • This study is investigating the perceptions of early childhood teachers on early childhood music activity. The subjects are early childhood teachers(N=217) working at kindergartens and day care centers in Jeonbuk Province. The data were collected from a questionnaire and analyzed with the tests of frequency, Cronbach's $\alpha$, t-test, ANOVA and Duncan. The results are as follow: first, the early childhood teachers are being aware of importance of infant music activity in the order of "aesthetic exploration", "artistic expression", and "art appreciation". Second, according to teachers' working place, the teachers have no differences of perception in early childhood music activities, while, according to children's age in the class which the teachers are taking charge of, they show differences of perception in the activities of "exploring movements " and "respect for artistic expression". Third, according to the early childhood teacher's career, they have difference of perception in "singing" activity only, while according to their education level, they have no differences of perception in all music activities. According to teachers' age, they have differences of perception in the activities of "aesthetic exploration", "exploring sound", and "singing".

악기를 활용한 음악.과학 통합활동이 유아의 음악적 개념 및 과학적 과정기술에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Music and Science Integrated Activities Using Instruments on the Musical Concept and Science Inquiry Process Skill)

  • This paper investigated the effect of music and science integrated activities using instruments designed to test both musical concept and science inquiry process skills of children. The subjects of this study consisted of two classes of children aged 5 at H Kindergarten in Busan city. This study involved a class of 31 children using a music and science integrated curriculum as the experimental group and another class of 32 children using a traditional music and science curriculum as the control group. The integrated activities were used 12 times over a 6-week period. A test was taken to evaluate the effects of the integrated activities on the children's understanding on seven sub-categories of musical concepts and six sub-categories of science inquiry process skills. The results were that the experimental group showed significantly higher improvements in all subcategories of musical concept and science inquiry process skills, compared to the control group. Based on these results, we concluded that these integrated activities were effective in the development of both musical concepts and the science inquiry process skills of children.

학교 음악 경험과 20대 성인의 음악 생활화 동기에 관한 다중사례 연구 (A Multiple Case Study on the Relationship Between School Music Experiences and Motivation for Music Engagement Among Adults in 20s)

  • 본 연구의 목표는 20대 성인의 음악의 생활화 동기와 그들의 학교 음악 경험 간의 연관성에 대해 알아보는 것으로, 20대 성인 10명의 인터뷰를 통해 그들이 과거 학교 음악 활동에서 경험한 자기결정이론의 세 가지 기본 심리욕구(자율성, 유능감, 관계성)를 중심으로 파악하였다. 이를 위해 참여자를 활발한 음악적 활동을 하는 그룹 5명, 활발하지 않은 그룹 5명으로 모집하여 개별 면담한 후, 면담 전사 자료를 나선형 자료 분석 기법의 다섯 가지 절차에 따라 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 이들이 경험한 학교에서의 음악 활동은 현재의 음악 생활화 동기와 긴밀한 관련성을 가지며, 이는 학교 음악 활동에서 경험한 자기결정이론의 세 가지 심리적 욕구 충족경험과 연관이 있음을 발견할 수 있었다. 특히 본 연구에서는 학교 음악 정규 수업의 진행 방식, 교내 음악 활동, 수행평가의 경험이 자율성, 유능감, 관계성과 더욱 밀접한 관련이 있는 사례로 드러났다. 이처럼 본 연구는 학교 음악 활동에서 겪은 자율성, 유능감, 관계성의 경험과 향후 성인이 된 이후의 음악에 대한 가치 인식 및 음악의 생활화 동기의 연관성에 대해 보다 심층적으로 분석하였다는 데 의의가 있다. 아울러 음악 활동에서의 자율성, 유능감, 관계성의 긍정적인 경험을 통해 향후 삶 속에서도 자발적으로 음악을 생활화할 수 있도록 돕는 방안을 제시하고자 하였다.

전래동요에 기초한 음악놀이활동이 유아의 국악능력과 국악흥미도 놀이성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Musical Play Activities Based on Traditional Children's Songs upon Young Children's Musical Ability and Interest in Korean Music and Their Playfulness)

  • 본 연구는 전래동요에 기초한 음악놀이활동이 유아의 국악능력과 국악흥미도, 놀이성에 미치는 영향이 어떠한가를 분석해보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 W시에 위치한 어린이집의 만 5세 두 학급의 유아 28명을 선정하여, 실험집단을 대상으로 전래동요에 기초한 음악놀이활동을 적용하였으며, 비교집단에는 가창 중심의 전래동요 지도와 누리과정에 기초한 주제 중심의 음악활동을 적용하였다. 수집된 자료를 토대로 두집단의 사전검사 점수를 공변인으로 한 공변량분석을 실시하였으며 분석결과, 전래동요에 기초한 음악놀이활동이 유아의 국악능력과 국악흥미도, 놀이성을 통계적으로 유의하게 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 연구의 결과는 음악놀이가 전래동요에 내재한 놀이성과 연계되어 국악교육을 위한 효과적인 교수방법으로 적용될 수 있음을 시사한다.
