  • Isozyme comparisons of mycelial extracts from Pleurotus ostreatus were undertaken using isoelectric focusing. Enzyme isozyme patterns were Used to describe the extent of geographical diversity and degree of intraspecific variation in these extracts. A total of 77 bands were resolved from six different enzymes. Cluster analyses were performed using the zymograms for esterase (EST), glucose phosphate isomerase (GPI), leucine aminopeptidase (LAP), malate dehydrogenase(MDH), peroxidase (POX), and phosphoglucomutase (pGM). EST gave multiple banding patterns, while less variability was observed for GPI, MDH, and PGM. Cluster analyses demonstrated that strains of P. ostreatus from geographically different origins are genetically divergent, supporting the idea that there is little or no gene flow between these geographically distant population groups.

  • Policy-based networking offers a network manager the ability to manage the network in a holistic and dynamic fashion rather than force a network manager to manage the network by dealing with each device individually. Policy-based networking is focusing on users and applications instead of emphasizing devices and interfaces. An important part of the policy-based networking is to simplify the task of administration and management for different disciplines. The Defense Information System(DIS) of today are complex and heterogeneous systems. Operational needs are not a trivial task and Quality of Service(QoS) is not generally guaranteed. So, important data may be missed or congested by trivial data. Policy-based networking provide a way to support QoS and simplify the management of multiple devices deploying complex technologies. This paper suggest implementation of policy-based networking in DIS to improvement of performance, and implementation is progressed step by step. Especially this paper is focusing on the providing QoS with policy-based networking using Lightweight Directory Access Protocol(LDAP) Server.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the family life participation and to analysis its related variables focusing on comparisons of male and female in the secondary students. The questonaire included school environmental variables, family environmental variables, the preference degree of Home Economics, sex role attitudes and the family life participation. The participants were 600 middle and high school students but the final data used on this study were 559. For the statistical analysis of this study, fequency, mean, Cronbach’s ${\alpha}$ coefficient, one way ANOVA, t-test and multiple regression were calculated. The results of this study were summarized as follows;1) The degree of family life participation was a little higher than middle level. While the highest participation degree was family activities participation, the participation degree of household work, communication and decision-making, leisure activities were low. 2) The variables that influence on the family life participation were the level of living and preference degree of Home Economics for both male and female.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of relationship benefit on consumer's purchase intention by focusing on the mediating role of interaction in internet shopping malls. The survey research was limited to respondents over 20 years old living in Seoul and other metropolitan areas who had purchased fashion products thru internet shopping malls. 562 data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression using SPSS program. The results indicated that each relationship benefit dimension had a significantly positive effect on consumer's purchase intention. The interaction between internet shopping malls and the consumer was categorized by two factors such as content-people interaction and people-people interaction. In addition, each interactive factor showed mediating effects between relationship benefits and consumer's purchase intention.

  • Today's health care environment is rapidly changing and nurse administrators' transformational leadership needs to practice in nursing organization to achieve organizational objectives. Transformational leadership is related to the job satisfaction, productivity, and organizational commitment. This study investigated the effect of transformational leadership and carreer characterics on nurses' organizational commitment. The sample for this study consisted of 594 nurse from 8 large Korean hospitals. The factor analysis Cronbach's alpha analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis and hierarchical multiple regression analysis were used for the statistical method. The results of this study were found that (1) charisma dimension of transformational leadership has positive influence on nurses' organizational commitment; but another two dimensions (intellectual stimulation and individualized consideration) did not showed significant effect on organizational commitment (2) nurses' career characteristic(age, marital status, education level. work duration, status) moderated the effect of transformational leadership on organizational commitment.

  • Procurement decisions for inspection equipment are often made heavily based on the initial purchase price instead of the effects of inspection cost, equipment calibration and utilization over the lifetime. Cost of ownership(COO) models that take into account all of these cost factors together have been developed focusing on a single quality characteristic. In modern manufacturing environment, inspection equipment often can deal with more than one quality characteristic simultaneously. In this paper, we propose the revised COO model for the economic evaluation of the inspection equipment that can accommodate multiple quality characteristics. We also employ an engineering economy model to compare equipments with different life span. Software is developed for handy comparison of the COO of alternative equipments along with sensitivity analysis far the optimal procurement decision.

  • This paper considers the workforce assignment problem to minimize both the deviations of workloads assigned to workers and to maximize the total preference between each worker and each machine. Because of the high expense of technology education and the difficulties of firing employees, there is no part time workers in semiconductor industry. Therefore, multi-skilled workers are trained for performing various operations in several machines. The bicriteria workforce assignment problem in this paper is not easy to obtain the optimal solution considering the aisle structure and it is belong to NP-class. The proposed heuristic algorithms are developed based on the combination of spacefilling curve technique, simulated annealing technique and graph theory focusing on the multiple-row machine layout. Examples are presented for the proposed algorithms how to find a good solution.

Method: The sample for this study consisted of 594 nurses from 8 large Korean hospitals. The factor analysis was drawn from the Cronbach's alpha analysis, the Pearson correlation analysis, the multiple regression analysis, and the hierarchical multiple regression analysis. Result: This study found that; (1) charisma dimension of transformational leadership has positive influence on job involvement; but intellectual stimulation and individualized consideration did not showed significant effects on job involvement (2) nurse individual characteristics (age, marital status, educational level, tenure, position) moderated the effect of transformational leadership on job involvement. Conclusion : Therefore, to improve job involvement nurses are required to apply the charisma dimension of transformational leadership in hospital organization.
