특허권과 이익지속계수에 따른 연구개발비 지출이 기업가치에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Research and Development Expenditure on Firm Value: The Case of Earning Persistence and Patent)

  • This study intends to examine the effect of research and development (R&D) expenditure effects on firm value through patent and earing persistence. The patent is the representative intangible asset which objectively indicates a typical product of research and development activities to external parties. If a firm has acquired the patent, it receives amicable evaluation from the market compared to the firm which has not acquired patent. Empirical analysis is performed for non-banking firms (1,860 firm-years) listed on Korean Stock Exchange with December fiscal year-end over 2004-2009. Research results are as follows. First, the multiple pricing of patent acquiring firm and earing persistence increased group showed that they have higher prices than the other groups. Second, the multiple pricing of R&D expenditures of earing persistence increased group showed that they have higher prices than the other group. Third, the R&D expenditures of earing persistence increased group is receiving more friendly evaluation from the stock market than the other group.

Learning Curve를 이용한 G.T형 생산성향상 모델 구축 (The Construction of Productivity Improvement Model with Group Technology Style through the Utilization of Learning curve)

  • This paper constructs Croup Technology process-based learning curve model adjusted to a Group Technology environment which accounts for shared learning that occurs when multiple products utilize some of the same process steps. Through this constructed model, the estimated times and productivity of labor calculated by the Group Technology process-based learning curve model are compared with those generated by employing product-based 1 earning curve model. For sensitivity analysis of the model, the impact of learning rate and the ordered production quantity on the ratio differences between Group Technology process-based learning curve model and product-based learning curve model are examined. These results indicate the critical importance of employing Group Technology process-based learning curve model when a process spans multiple products.

  • This research suggests an interactive methodology for multiple objective linear programming problems to help the group select a compromising solution in the World Wide Web environment. Our methodology lessens the burden of group decision makers, which is one of necessary conditions of the web environment. Only the partial weak order of variables and objectives from the group decision makers are enough for searching the best compromising solution. For such a purpose, we expand the Dror and Gass algorithm to the group decision context. And we suggest the system architecture of a web-based GDSS for the Implementation of our methodology.

  • Boundary scan test structure(JTAG IEEE 1149.1 standard) that supports an internal scan chain is generally being used to test CUT(circuit under test). Since the internal scan chain can only have a single scan-in port and a single scan-out port; however, existing boundary test methods can not be used when multiple scan chains are present in CUT. Those chains must be stitched to form a single scan chain as shown in this paper. We propose an efficient boundary scan test structure that adds a circuit called Clock Group Register(CGR) for multiple clocks testing within the design of multiple scan chains. The proposed CGR has the function of grouping clocks. By adding CGR to a previously existing boundary scan design, the design is modified. This revised scan design overcomes the limitation of supporting a single scan-in port and out port, and it bolsters multiple scan-in ports and out ports. Through our experiments, the effectiveness of CGR is proved. With this, it is possible to test more complicated designs that have high density with a little effort. Furthermore, it will also benefit in designing those complicated circuits.

Adaptive Mode Switching in Correlated Multiple Antenna Cellular Networks

  • This paper proposes an adaptive mode switching algorithm between two strategies in multiple antenna cellular networks:A single-user mode and a multi-user mode for the broadcast channel. If full channel state information is available at the base station, it is known that a multi user transmission strategy would outperform all single-user transmission strategies. In the absence of full side information, it is unclear what the capacity achieving method is, and thus there are few criteria to decide which of the myriad possible methods performs best given a system configuration. We compare a single user transmission and a multi user transmission with linear receivers in this paper where the transmitter and the receivers have multiple antennas, and find that neither strategy dom inates the other. There is instead a transition point between the two strategies. Then, the mode switching point is determined both ana lytically and numerically for a multiple antenna cellular downlink with correlation between transmit antennas.

다발성 중증 외상 환자들의 치료에 대한 응급 외상팀 운영의 효과 (Effect of the Emergency Trauma Team's Management on the Treatment of Patients with Multiple Severe Trauma)

  • Purpose: We performed this study to determine how the emergency trauma team affects the treatment of patients with multiple severe trauma and to discuss the effect and the direction of the emergency trauma team's management. Methods: We performed a retrospective analysis of 518 patients who visited our emergency department with severe trauma from August 2006 to July 2008. We divided the severe trauma patients into 2 groups : patients before and after trauma team management (Group 1 and Group 2). Then, we compared demographic characteristics, mechanisms of injury, and treatment outcomes (lengths of stay in the ED, admission ratio, and in-hospital mortality) between the 2 groups. In the same way, patients with multiple severe trauma were divided into 2 groups, that are patients before and after trauma team management (Group 3 and Group 4) and analyzed. Results: There was no significant difference, except mean age, between groups 1 and 2. In group 4 patients, compared to group 3 patients, the lengths of stay in the ED were lower (p value < 0.001), and the admission ratio were higher (p value = 0.017), but there was no significant difference in the in-hospital mortality between the groups 3 and 4. Conclusion: When patients with multiple severe trauma visit the ED, the emergency trauma team' management can decrease the lengths of stay in the ED and increase the admission ratio, but does not produce a decrease in the in-hospital mortality rate. Further investigations of emergency trauma team management are needed to improve treatment outcomes for patients with multiple severe trauma.

다수 의사결정 그룹 문제의 가중치 조정에 관한 연구 (On the Adjustment of Weight of Multiple Decision Making Group Problems)

  • 다수의사결정그룹(MDMG : Multiple Decision-Making Croup)문제는 서로 의견이 상충하는 단위의사결정그룹(UDMG: Unit Decision-Making Croup) 문제로 구성되어 있다. 특히, 항만경쟁력 평가문제의 경우, 다계층$\cdot$복합$\cdot$다속성의 복잡한 평가특성을 가지며, 평가에 있어 선사, 포워더, 물류기업, 연구자 등 다수의 의사결정자들이 참여하는 대표적인 다수의사결정그룹문제가 된다. 이러한 복잡한 문제의 평가는 각 그룹간의 이질적인 선호도를 합리적으로 융합하는 가중치 보완과정이 필요하게 된다. 즉, 가중치 보완과정은 평가결과의 신뢰성과 타당성을 확보할 수 있는 매우 중요한 절차로써, 이를 위한 합리적인 방안에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구는 여기에 주목하여 평가 문제에서 빈번히 발생하는 이질적인 선호도를 합리적으로 흉합하는 방안을 제시하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 한다. 수립된 방안을 토대로 실제 다수 평가그룹이 참여하는 항만경쟁력 평가항목의 가중치 조정문제에 적용한 결과. 이질적인 선호도가 융합된 통합 가중치를 도출할 수 있었다.

공동저작 시스템에서의 동시성 제어와 쓰기 권한 제어 (A Framework for Concurrency Control and Writing Authority Control in Collaborative Writing Systems)

  • 이 논문에서는 공동제작 시스템에서의 동시성 제어와 쓰기 권한 제어를 위한 효율적인 방안을 제시한다. 본 연구에서 다루는 공동젖작시스템의 문서는 논리 객체들로 구성된 트리 구조와 트리 구조의 단말에 연결된 내용 조작들로 표현된다. 이러한 문서의 논리구조를 다루는 공동저작 시스템의 동시성 제어 기법을 우리는 계층적으로 구성된 객체들에 대해 각 계층별로 잠금을 요청할 수 있는 다중 잠금(multiple granularity locking) 기법을 확장하는 접근을 채택하였다. 계층적으로 구성된 객체들에 대한 연산을 세분화하여 잠금 호환 테이블(locking compatibility table)을 정의하고, 이 테이블을 기반으로 잠금을 허락하는 확장된 다중 장금(extended multiple granularity locking) 기법을 제안한다. 이 기법은 여러 사용자들의 공유 객체에 대한 동시 접근을 극대화하는 장점이 있다. 또한 이 논문에서는 그룹/비그룹(Group/Non-Group) 개념을 적용하여 비그룹 사용자들의 쓰기를 방지함으로써 매우 합리적으로 저작권을 보호할 수 있는 쓰기 권한 기법을 제안한다.

스팀 절감량 예측을 위한 흑액 다중 효용 증발 공정 모델 개발 (Development of Black Liquor Multiple-effect-evaporation Process Model to Predict Steam Savings)

  • 본 연구에서는 흑액 증발공정에 소비되는 스팀의 절감량을 예측하기 위해 증발기 수에 따른 다중 효용 증발공정 모델을 개발하였다. 개발한 공정 모델은 흑액의 예열 및 증발 과정으로 구성되어 있고, 스팀 사용량을 예측하기 위해 가상의 재비기가 추가되었다. 시뮬레이션 결과, 2중 효용 증발기에서 스팀 사용량은 48.9% 감소하였고, 증발기 수가 증가함에 따라 스팀 사용량이 감소하여 8중 효용 증발기에서 최대 76.5% 감소함을 확인하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과를 증발기 수에 따른 포화증기의 잠열 회수량, 스팀 사용량, 각 증발기의 포화증기 생산량으로 분석하여 최적의 증발기 수 도출을 위한 방안을 제시하였다.
