유한 요소 정식화를 이용한 해상 크레인 붐(boom)의 탄성체 모델링 (Elastic Boom Modeling of a Floating Crane based on Finite Element Formulation)

  • 본 논문에서는 해상 크레인과 중량물의 동적 거동을 시뮬레이션하기 위해, 유한 요소 정식화(finite element formulation)를 이용하여 해상 크레인의 붐(boom)을 탄성체로 모델링 하였다. 붐은 3차원 탄성 빔(beam) 요소로 가정하고, 각 요소의 변형에 의한 변위는 형상 함수(shape function)과 절점 좌표(nodal coordinate)를 이용하여 정의하였다. 변형 변위를 이용하여 탄성 붐의 강성 행렬(stiffnes matrix)을 유도하고, 탄성 변위를 포함하는 위치 벡터를 이용하여 질량 행렬을 유도한다. 해상 크레인과 중량물로 이루어진 운동 방정식에 탄성 붐을 포함하여 유연 다물체계(flexible multibody system) 운동 방정식을 구성한다. 외력으로는 선박 유체정역학적 힘, 유체동역학적 힘, wire rope의 장력, 중력 그리고 계류력(mooring force)이 고려되었다. 먼저 요소의 개수를 변경하며 탄성 붐의 동적 거동을 시뮬레이션 하여, 유한 요소 정식화를 이용한 모델링의 타당성을 검증하였다. 그리고 해상 크레인과 중량물의 동적 거동 시뮬레이션에 탄성 붐 모델을 적용하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 속도변환을 이용하여 기본체(base body)가 움직이는 경우에 대 한 일반적인 운동방정식을 유도하고, 이를 적절히 변형시킴으로써 로봇분야에서 이미 유도된 식과 비슷한 반복형태의 식을 얻을 수 있음을 보임으로써, 기계의 동력학 분야 에서 사용하고 있는 속도변환의 방법이 기본체가 고정되어 있는 경우가 대부분인 로봇 분야에서도 적용될 수 있음을 보이고자 한다. 또한 유도된 반복형태식을 이용하여 개방연쇄계(open-loop system)로 이루어진 기계시스템의 동력학 시뮬레이션에 적합한 알고리즘을 만들고 자동차를 예제로 택하여 유도된 방법의 타당성과 효율성을 검토하 였다.

  • The analysis of human arm motion during steering maneuver is carried out for investigation of man-machine interface of driver and steering system Each arm is modeled as interconnection of upper arm, lower arm, and hand by rotational joints that can properly represents permissible joint motion, and both arms are connected to a steering wheel through spring and damper at the contact points. The joint motion law during steering motion is determined through the measurement of each arm movement, and subsequent inverse kinematic analysis. Combining the joint motion law and inverse dynamic analysis, joint stiffness of arm is estimated. Arm dynamic analysis model for steering maneuver is setup, and is validated through the comparison with experimentally measured data, which shows relatively good agreement. To demonstrate the usefulness of the arm model, it is applied to study the effect of steering column angle on the steering motion.

Validation of Loads Analysis for a Slowed Rotor at High Advance Ratios

  • This work conducts a validation study for loads analysis of the UH-60A slowed rotor at high advance ratios. The nonlinear flexible multibody dynamics analysis code, DYMORE II, is used with a freewake model for the rotorcraft comprehensive analysis. Wind tunnel test data of airloads and structural loads of a full-scale UH-60A slowed rotor are used for this validation study. This analysis predicts well the thrust reversal phenomenon at the advance ratio of 1.0. The section airloads such as normal forces and pitching moments and the oscillatory blade structural moments in this analysis are compared well or moderately with the measured data, although the higher harmonics components of blade torsion moments are not captured well. This validation study assesses the prediction accuracy and investigates the unique aeromechanics characteristics of a slowed rotor at high advance ratio.

  • The look-ahead preview control with the use of limited bandwidth active suspensions is presented. Both a linearized racked vehicle model and a complex nonlinear model based on a commercial multibody dynamic program are used to verify the performance of preview control. The performance of the preview control system is evaluated on the ride quality which is estimated from the acceleration of the driver position. Due to the practical advantages associated with the use of limited bandwidth active control in comparison with full bandwidth systems, the results are considered important to the future development of active tracked vehicle suspensions.

  • For the analysis of dynamic contact between a catenary and a pantograph of high-speed electrical train, the numerical solution of the equations of motion of the vehicle pantograph and the catenary system subjected to the contact condition is obtained. The whole equations of motion of the catenary and the pantograph are simultaneously time integrated with the strict application of the contact condition. For the stability of the numerical solution, with the cubic spline interpolation of the catenary displacement, the velocity and acceleration constraints as well as the displacement constraint are imposed on the contact point. Especially it is shown that the Coriolis and centripetal accelerations are critical for the accuracy and stability of the computation.

  • A flexible rotating beam test bed has been developed for experimental verification of flexible rotating beam dynamics and vibration. It consists of a flexible arm, harmonic driver reducer, ac servo motor and DSP board with PC. To capture the motion induced stiffening effects of the flexible rotating beam, substructuring model has been established in multibody dynamics simulation. Substructuring model provides better results comparing with experimental data.

철도차량의 곡선 구간별 주행안전성 평가 (A Running Safety Assessment for Curved Section for a Railway Vehicle)

  • The curved portion fur each section running safety evaluation interpretation according to the track condition for improving the curved portion passage rate of a vehicle by using the multibody analysis model of the Saemaeul train was carried out. As a result, The excess of cant reaches the bad effect to the running safety in case the radius of curvature is small. In case the radius of curvature was large, we could confirm that the deficiency of cant reached the bad effect to the running safety. In the curved portion, the circular curve section most badly showed the running safety. The deficiency of curve length reaches the bad to the running safety. In the curved portion, the circular curve section most badly showed the running safety. Therefore the track condition(cant, transition curve length, etc) can reach the bad effect to the running safety of a vehicle, the exact design is required.

  • In this paper, an efficient and accurate formulation for the transient analysis of constrained multibody systems is presented. The formulation employs Kane's method along with the null space method. Kane's method reduces the dimension of equations of motion by using partial velocity matrix: it can improve the efficiency of the formulation. Furthermore, the formulation partitions the coefficient matrix of linear and nonlinear equations into several sub-matrices using kinematic uncoupling. This can solve the equations more efficiently. The proposed formulation can be used to perform dynamic analysis of systems which can he partitioned into several sub-systems such as train systems. One numerical example is given to demonstrate the efficiency and accuracy of the formulation, and another numerical example is given to show its application to the train systems.

  • The present investigate is a base investigate required in development of DMT wagon train. And it deduced that follows by developing trail analysis model about Modalohr wagon train and examining traveling movement specific using analysis model developed. Vibration acceleration of all direction was increased with addition of travel speed and first suspension. But in case of right and left vibration acceleration, that could influenced by nonlinear specific of first suspension. Therefore checking about those is needed. Frequency of $2{\sim}3\;Hz$ and $7{\sim}8\;Hz$ generated in Right and left, up, down vibration of vehicle. And right and left vibration of bogie generated $25{\sim}35\;Hz$ in low speed section and frequency of $40{\sim}50\;Hz$ in high speed section, $25{\sim}35\;Hz$ in low speed section, $10{\sim}15$ or $40{\sim}50\;Hz$ in high speed section.
