Gastric cancer (GC) is the fourth most common cause of cancer-related death globally. The classification of advanced GC (AGC) according to molecular features has recently led to effective personalized cancer therapy for some patients. Specifically, AGC patients whose tumor cells express high levels of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) can now benefit from trastuzumab, a humanized monoclonal Ab that targets HER2. However, patients with HER2negative AGC receive limited clinical benefit from this treatment. To identify potential immune therapeutic targets in HER2negative AGC, we obtained 40 fresh AGC specimens immediately after surgical resections and subjected the CD45+ immune cells in the tumor microenvironment to multi-channel/multi-panel flow cytometry analysis. Here, we report that HER2 negativity associated with reduced overall survival (OS) and greater tumor infiltration with neutrophils and non-classical monocytes. The potential pro-tumoral activities of these cell types were confirmed by the fact that high expression of neutrophil or non-classical monocyte signature genes in the gastrointestinal tumors in The Cancer Genome Atlas, Genotype-Tissue Expression and Gene Expression Omnibus databases associated with worse OS on Kaplan-Meir plots relative to tumors with low expression of these signature genes. Moreover, advanced stage disease in the AGCs of our patients associated with greater tumor frequencies of neutrophils and non-classical monocytes than early stage disease. Thus, our study suggests that these 2 myeloid populations may serve as novel therapeutic targets for HER2negative AGC.

The KOINONIA is developed to communicate with connection of the short-range devices by the technique of the WPAN. The piconet consists of one master and slaves above one, the multi-poconet consists of parent piconet and child piconets which is formed the basis of parent piconet. The child piconet consists of the child master and slaves. The child master takes a role of the master in the child piconet and the slave in the parent piconet. In this paper, the multi-piconet is made as above, then we estimate the max capacity of assigned CTA by level, number of slaves in child piconet. A super-frame is the maximum 65.535ms of usable capacity. Because of it is a fued number, We suggested quantitatively the fixed reduction of an usable capacity by increases of number of slave and child-master in the piconet. And we analyze the reduction of an available capacity by the increase of number of child piconet.
This paper reports on our development of a dual-mode transceiver for a CMOS high-rate Bluetooth system-onchip solution. The transceiver includes most of the radio building blocks such as an active complex filter, a Gaussian frequency shift keying (GFSK) demodulator, a variable gain amplifier (VGA), a dc offset cancellation circuit, a quadrature local oscillator (LO) generator, and an RF front-end. It is designed for both the normal-rate Bluetooth with an instantaneous bit rate of 1 Mb/s and the high-rate Bluetooth of up to 12 Mb/s. The receiver employs a dualconversion combined with a baseband dual-path architecture for resolving many problems such as flicker noise, dc offset, and power consumption of the dual-mode system. The transceiver requires none of the external image-rejection and intermediate frequency (IF) channel filters by using an LO of 1.6 GHz and the fifth order onchip filters. The chip is fabricated on a $6.5-mm^{2}$ die using a standard $0.25-{\mu}m$ CMOS technology. Experimental results show an in-band image-rejection ratio of 40 dB, an IIP3 of -5 dBm, and a sensitivity of -77 dBm for the Bluetooth mode when the losses from the external components are compensated. It consumes 42 mA in receive ${\pi}/4-diffrential$ quadrature phase-shift keying $({\pi}/4-DQPSK)$ mode of 8 Mb/s, 35 mA in receive GFSK mode of 1 Mb/s, and 32 mA in transmit mode from a 2.5-V supply. These results indicate that the architecture and circuits are adaptable to the implementation of a low-cost, multi-mode, high-speed wireless personal area network.

In this paper, we propose a Flow Based Waiting Time Priority (FB-WTP) scheduler that supports the proportional delay differentiated services between classes. Existing scheduling algorithms utilize the configuration of scheduler, which is operated as class unit, applied to wired network. However, FB-WTP scheduler is operated as flow unit and can take advantage of multi-flow diversity effect in time-varying channel state environment. As a result, FB-WTP improves the average queueing delay on each class as well as supporting the average queueing delay ratio between classes. It also solves the HOL packet blocking problem implicitly. Simulation results show that FB-WTP scheduler has better system queueing delay performance than Look-ahead Waiting Time Priority (LWTP) scheduler and supports the larger queueing delay ratio between classes that network operator set.
In conventional cooperative communication data rate is 1/2 than non cooperative protocols. In this paper, we propose a full data rate DF (Decode and Forward) cooperative transmission scheme. Proposed scheme is based on time division multiplexing (TDM) channel access. When DF protocol has full data rate, it can not obtain diversity gain under the pairwise error probability (PEP) view point. If it increases time slot to obtain diversity gain, then data rate is reduced. The proposed algorithm uses orthogonal frequency and constellation rotation to obtain both full data rate and diversity order 2. Moreover, performance is analyzed according to distance and optimized components that affect the system performance by using computer simulation. The simulation results revealed that the cooperation can save the network power up to 7dB over direct transmission and 5dB over multi-hop transmission at BER of $10^{-2}$. Besides, it can improve date rate of system compared with the conventional DF protocol.

This paper proposes a hybrid optical lines composed of single-mode fiber(SMF) and multi-mode fiber(MMF) for gigabit-capable Passive Optical Network(GPON) using a WDM method with a single light source per each channel, and reports the results of transmission performance the proposed lines. The transmission link uses a direct modulated DFB-LD for high speed downstreams at the optical line terminal(OLT) of central office(CO) and a low cost SFP type transceiver for low-speed upstream in optical network unit(ONU). To split or combine the transmission channels, wavelength MUX/DEMUX are used in the optical line section, and MMFs not longer than 1 km are attached to the SMF lines at the ONU side of the WDM-PON links. We have performed the transmission experiment on the downstream of 2.5 Gbit/s, and 1.25 Gbit/s, and the upstream of 1.25 Gbit/s, and 622 Mbit/s which are recommended by ITU-T G.984.2. The transmission margin and feasibility of the proposed links have been tested to be suitable up to 2.5 Gbit/s transmission.
In this paper, we propose a new resource allocation scheme for an OFDMA relay network with multicells. In the proposed scheme, by sharing the channel state information (CSI) between base stations, resources are allocated to users and relays to maximize the overall sum of the achievable rate under fairness constraints. In order to reduce the computational complexity, a resource allocation scheme is proposed by separating subcarrier allocation and power allocation into two parts. First of all, by considering inter-cell interference (ICI), a subcarrier is allocated to a user-relay pair, and power is allocated relays. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme achieves higher spectral efficiency per subcarrier than the static scheme and reduces the outage probability compared to the static and greedy schemes.

In this paper, we investigate the design of the QAM(Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) method for the CACB(Constant Amplitude Coded Multicode Biorthogonal) scheme. The modulation method fan improve the transmission data rate by increasing the BE(Bandwidth Efficiency). Additionally, we can improve the system performance by using the QAM SD(Soft Decision) method with the MDSA(Minimum Distance Selection Algorithm). Finally, the DFE(Decision Feedback Equalizer) for the CACB-QAM is simulated under the MPF(MultiPath Fading) channel for real implementation. The proposed scheme can be used for the PHY(PHYsical layer) standard of the WPAN(Wireless Personal Area Network) requiring high rate data transmission.
In this paper, we propose a home monitoring system using sound event detection based on a bidirectional gated recurrent neural network for the hard-of-hearing. First, in the proposed system, packet loss concealment is used to recover a lost signal captured through wireless sensor networks, and reliable channels are selected using multi-channel cross correlation coefficient for effective sound event detection. The detected sound event is converted into the text and haptic signal through a harmonic/percussive sound source separation method to be provided to hearing impaired people. Experimental results show that the performance of the proposed sound event detection method is superior to the conventional methods and the sound can be expressed into detailed haptic signal using the source separation.
