The purpose of this study was to present the quantitative data which riders can utilize teaching field by comparison analysis of kinematics according to skill level of rider during 2 strides rising trot with the JeJu's-Horse. Participated subjects was consisted of total 10 riders(unskilled: n=5, skilled: n=5). The method of experiment & analysis was based on 3D cinematography. Variables were consisted of temporal, linear & angular kinematics by each event & phase. The skilled assigned more ratio of elapsed time in air than support phase, had the less range of motion in up-down direction and more consistent velocity in lateral & forward direction and performed periodic up-down movement with alignment in vertical direction according to elapsing of phases. The skilled more flexed at elbow and extended backwardly according to elapsing of phases, while more flexed forwardly at hip & knee and plantarflexion at ankle. The skilled postured backward extension but the unskilled do forward flexion. That is, It was considered that the unskilled continued more unstable posture than the skilled during 2 strides in rising trot.

This study focused on variability of the sea water temperatures observed off the Dangjin Power Plant in the central west coast of Korea for the period of 1998-1999. Spatial averaged temperature shows the annual range of $20.3^{\circ}C$, with minimum of $3.3^{\circ}C$ in February and maximum of $23.6^{\circ}C$ in August. Horizontal distribution patterns are seasonally reversing: The temperatures are increasing toward inshore of the period of April to October, while they are increasing toward of offshore for the rest of year. Spectral analyses of temperature records show significant peaks at M2 and S2 tidal periods, since the water movement in the study area is influenced by strong tide. The responses of temperature variations to tidal phase show different seasonal characteristics: The temperatures are increasing at flood phases in winter and ebb phases in summer. Amplitudes of the components at M2 and S2 periods are $0.8^{\circ}C\;and\;0.5^{\circ}C$, accounting for 70-80% of daily variation. Coherency analyses between non-tidal components of temperature and wind speed show that in summer, northerly wind components significantly coherent with temperature at 2.8 days period, while in winter, southerly wind component is coherent with 2.4 days period, with 0.6 and 0.7 day phase-lags, respectively.
Compton suppression apparatus using the Compton scattering response, by inhibiting part of the spectrum Compton continuum Compton continuum in the area of the peak analysis of the gamma rays that enables a clearer device. In order to find out the geometry structure of high-purity germanium detector(HPGe) -NaI(TI) and to optimize the effect of movement, Monte Carlo simulation was used to grasp the behavioral characteristics of Compton suppression and compare several layout structures. And applied to the cylinder beaker used for the environmental measurement by using the efficiency according to the distance. For the low-energy source such as 81 keV, the Compton continuum is scarcely developed and the suppression effect is also insignificant because the scattering cross-section of the Compton effect is relatively low. In the spectrum for the remaining energy, it can be seen that the Compton continuum part is suppressed in a certain energy range. Compton suppression effect was not significantly different from positional shift. average reduction factor(ARF) value was about 1.08 for 81 keV and about 1.23 for 1332.4keV energy at the highest value. It can be seen that suppression over the Compton continuum region of the energy spectrum is a more appropriate arrangement. Therefore, it can be applied to various environmental sample measurement through optimized structure.
Serial ultrasonographic examinations were daily performed from 15 days after ovulation until parturition to determine the time of first detection and ultrasonographic appearance of the fetal and extra-fetal structures in pregnant 10 Maltese, 10 Yorkshire Terrier, 15 Shih-tzu, and 10 Miniature Schnauzer bitches, respectively. Gestational age was timed from the day of ovulation (day 0), which was estimated to occur when plasma progesterone concentration was first increased above 4.0ng/ml. The gestational length was $63.4{\sim}63.6$ (range: $61{\sim}65$) days and the geatational length was no statistically significant difference among bitches (p>0.05). The initial detection of the extra-fetal structures were; gestational sac at days $18.9{\sim}19.5\;(17{\sim}22)$, zonary placenta at days $24.6{\sim}25.5\;(23{\sim}28)$, yolk sac membrane at days $24.6{\sim}25.5\;(23{\sim}27)$, yolk sac tubular shape at days $26.1{\sim}26.3\;(24{\sim}28)$, and amniotic membrane at days $26.1{\sim}28.2\;(24{\sim}31)$, respectively. The time of the first detection of the extra-fetal structures were no statistically significant difference among bitches (p>0.05). The initial detection of the fetal structures were; embryo initial detection at days $22.5{\sim}22.9\;(21{\sim}24)$, heartbeat at days $23.2{\sim}23.8\;(21{\sim}25)$, embryo bipolar shape $27.6{\sim}28.9\;(26{\sim}30)$, fetal movement at days $31.9{\sim}32.8\;(27{\sim}34)$, limb buds at days $29.1{\sim}30.7\;(27{\sim}33)$, stomach at days $31.1{\sim}33.1\;(29{\sim}34)$, urinary bladder at days $32.4{\sim}33.2\;(29{\sim}35)$, skeleton at days $34.7{\sim}35.9\;(34{\sim}39)$, and kidney at days $42.1{\sim}44.7\;(41{\sim}48)$, respectively. The the time of the first detection of the fetal structures were no statistically significant difference among bitches (p>0.05). These results indicate the evaluation of the time of first detection and ultrasonographic characteristics of the gestational structures might be useful for pregnancy diagnosis, estimating fetal age, embryonic resorption, fetal monster, abnormal fetal growth and fetal viability, respectively.

This paper addresses the suitability of GPS positioning technology to monitoring deformation and movement of structures. The first part of the study is an empirical quantitative study of the repeatability of GPS observations and the second part is a performance evaluation of kinematic GPS, which requires only a few minutes per a point, for monitoring deformation of an engineering structure. On the test network for monitoring of a earth am, four observations have been conducted repeatedly on different seasons and water levels. The reference network was observed in static mode, and monitoring points were observed respectively in rapid-static mode as well as in kinematic mode in each epoch and then the results were compared with those obtained by conventional surveying techniques. The repeatability of baseline vectors to better than average 7 mm in three dimensions was achieved in base line observations between reference points and also the unclosure of reference networks showed the range of 4 ppm to 27 ppm. Compared with conventional surveying techniques, the kinematic approach showed the differences of 3∼4 m in slope distances which were observed from reference points to monitoring points, and showed the differences of 4∼8 m in height. It was ascertained that the kinematic GPS technology provides an efficient alternative to deformation monitoring by conventional means which are capable of detecting movements in the order of 5 mm.

Recently, the use of radar rainfall data that can help tracking of the development and movement of rainfall's spatial distribution is drawing much attention in hydrology. The reliability of existing radar rainfall compared to gauge rainfall data on the ground has not yet been confirmed and so we have difficulties to apply the radar rainfall in hydrology. The radar rainfall for the applications in hydrology are adjusted merging method derived from gage. This study uses the Mean-Field Bias (MFB) and Statistical Objective Analysis (SOA) as correction methods to create adjusted grid-based radar rainfall data which can represent the temporal and spatial distribution of rainfall. This study used a storm event occurred in August 2010 for the adjustment of radar rainfall. In addition, the grid-based distributed rainfall-runoff model (Vflo), which enables more detailed examinations of spatial flux changes in the basin rather than the lumped hydrological models, has been applied to Gamcheon river basin which is a tributary of Nakdong River located in south-eastern part of the Korean peninsular and the basin area is $1005km^2$. The simulated runoff was compared with the observed runoff in an attempt to evaluate the usability of radar rainfall data and the reliability of the correction methods. The error range of peak discharge using each correction method was within 20 percent and the efficiency of the model was between 60 and 80 percent. In particular, the SOA method showed better results than MFB method. Therefore, the SOA method could be used for the adjustment of grid-based radar rainfall and the adjusted radar rainfall can be used as an input data of rainfall-runoff models.

The intent of this paper is to examine the talus in Chon-hwang-san in the southern part of Korean Peninsula, and then analyze its geomorphic feature and origin. The research is summarized as follows; (1) The talus is 220m long and the range of the width from 10 to 75m. The mean gradient is $33^{\circ}$ and the mean block size is $110{\times}59cm$(long axis$\times$short axis). The overall appearance of the talus is tongue-shaped and the geology of the constituent blocks is dacite. (2) This talus has two particular geomorphic landscapes. One is that the talus has not free face as source of blocks back of itself; the free face of the talus has been parallel retreated to disappearance by frost attack. The other is that the upper part of the talus is on the ridge. (3) This talus is classified into rock fall talus type, and the shape of rock fragments is angular. When considered in conjunction with face of being mentioned above, the morphology and lithology of the talus are best explained on the basis of origin under periglacial environment during late pleistocene time. (4) Most constituent rock debris are now lichen-covered, or covered with a mantle of weathering. There is no evidence of appreciable movement and for supplying block. Therefore, the talus appears to be relict or fossil form stage, currently.
This dissertation is a basic research on the degradation of rocks and aims at clarifying the relations between the progression of degree of weathering and the variation of chemical composition. The author wants to make clear the degradation of rocks and the process of formation of sedimentary rocks from a standpoint of elucidation of migration of elements. This study is considered to be significant not only as a part of research on the distribution of earth crust materials but as the petrogenesis of rocks. The chemical studies on the weathered rocks have been started relatively early and there are not a few researches on them: Goldich, 1938; Harris, et al., 1966; Ruxton, 1968; Berner, et al., 1982; Kanuss, 1983; Lasaga, 1984; Siagel, 1984. The degree of migration of elements in weathering is the composite result of various factors. Because, at the present time, it is difficult to clarify the individual and composite effects of each factor theoretically and quanititatively, we must accumulate empirical data and use them relatively. In such consideration the author acquired some data of chemical weathering from the chemical analysis of granitic and basaltic rocks in and around Fukuoka city, Japan and granitic rocks in and around Chonju and Iri cities, Korea. Because both rock types studied can be considered as representative materials of acidic and basic rocks compsing the earth crust, it is significant to examine the phenomena of weathering of both rock types. The following results are obtained from the analysis and examinations of chemical compositions of the original and weathered rocks. The loss rate of major elements has no uniformity, but the following relation holds in general; Ca, Na> K, Si> Mg> Fe, Al. As weathering proceeds, the ratio of $Al_2O_3/CaO$ shows increasing phenomena, and that of $Na_2O/CaO$ decreasing. The range of migration of composition is broad in basaltic rocks but narrow in granitic rocks. The reason is that the chemical weathering of basaltic rocks progresses more easily than that of granitic rocks. The chemical weathering potenitial index of basaltic rocks in larger than that of granitic rocks. The reason is that the chemical weathering of basaltic rocks proceeds more easily than that of granitic rocks. In weathering, the decrease of mobile cations such as $Ca^{2+}$, $Na^{2+}$, $Mg^{2+}$ and the increase of $H_2O$ in basaltic rocks are more obvious than in granitic rocks.

The amputation of body parts of wild animals can affect their activities in the wild and the behavior of mothers raising their cubs can cause behavioral characteristics in their offspring. In 2017, an Asiatic black bear was caught in a snare at the Jirisan National Park and had a right forefoot amputation. It was released into the wild the same year and gave birth to two cubs. The seasonal analysis of the behavioral rites of five females who gave birth in the same year as this individual showed specific home ranges, activity altitudes, and movement distances compared to other populations. Physical disabilities in the mother could lead to difficulties in food activity, hibernation, and cub-rearing, but the bear's maternal instincts helped to overcome difficulties in the wild and ensure the cubs' survival. It also became a special experience in the process of promoting the restoration of Asiatic black bears at Jirisan National Park. Although the Asiatic black bear's cubs, which grew up in difficult conditions compared to other populations, are not currently causing problems, continuous monitoring will help determine the success of the disabled mother cub-rearing study. Furthermore, these case studies will be used to establish long-term management directions and plans for conflicts with people from various perspectives.
For detecting a ground contamination survey, soil sampling method have been used a drilling or coring technique in general. However these methods are very difficult to systematically real-time monitoring of variation of contamination degree in field. ]'n this research frequency Domain Reflectometry (FDR) system was suggested and carried out to experimental approaches for determination of oil contamination on surface and underground. Experimental method using FDR method was discussed with feasibility of measurement in the laboratory column test. It is determined to degree of oil contamination due to response of dielectric constant re-lated with volumetric water content(θ/sub w/) and volumetric oil content( θ/sub al/ ) of saturated and unsaturated soil media. And physical properties such as effective porosity and oil residual ratio of saturated soil media were also measured through real-time monitoring works using installed FDR measurement sensors, which are defected characteristics of oil movement in the saturated soil media under the soil column tests. In the results of these experiments, a range of effective porosity was estimated to about 0.35 compared with initial porosity 0.40 of manufactured saturated soil media, which is also calculated to about 87.5% to the ratio of initial porosity to effective porosity. Finally oil residual ratio which is compared with volumetric water content and volumetric oil content was calculated about 62.5%.
