간호사의 임파워먼트와 직무만족, 조직몰입과의 관계 (A Study on the relationship of Empowerment with Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment perceived by nurses)

  • Today, environments of healthcare and hospital organizations are changing very rapidly. In response to these rapid and uncontrollable changes, organizational members should be required to be empowered, because empowerment makes feelings of powerlessness and frustration reduce and leads to work performance such as Job satisfaction and Organizational commitment. The term 'Empowerment' is frequently used in recent, but there is a lack of study. In nursing administration, studies are also few. Empowerment is defined here as a cognitive, continuous and active process which empower intrinsic work motivation to members. This study takes empowerment as a construct composed of four factors-meaning, competence, self-determination, impact. 1. The purpose is to analyze the relationship of empowerment with job - satisfaction and organizational commitment perceived by nurses. 2. The method : Data were collected from 334 nurses in 2-hospital and gathered during the period 20days from September 11 to September 30, 2000 and ANOVA, Pearson's correlaton etc are conducted for this study. 3. The results were as follows: 1) In characteristics of subjects, age and the period of duty were significantly different in empowerment (p<0.001). Educational background, marriage and motivation to be nurse were different in empowerment(p<0.05). 2) Empowerment degree perceived by nurses was 55.52. 3) Empowerment was related with job satisfaction (p<0.001) but was not related with organizational commitment. 4. Conclusion : The above result was different from other empowerment studys which empowerment is related with job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The study on empowerment is important in the aspect of strategies for increasement of work performance. For the proper tool in nursing practice, we study empowerment in various aspects and the further studys for the relationship of empowerment with organizational commitment are needed.

도시민의 농촌 야외여가활동의 동기, 여가혜택과 만족간의 영향 관계 (The Impact of the Relationships among the Motivation, Benefits and Satisfaction derived from Rural Outdoor Recreation for Urban Residents)

  • This study was performed to identify the tendency and benefits of outdoor recreation in rural areas. The preferences and importance of the benefits of outdoor recreation activities in rural areas were simultaneously compared and analyzed through the discussion of a four quadrants portfolio map using importance-performance analysis. The social benefits in quadrant i had the characteristics of 'sharing nice experiences with others', 'having contact/interchange with others', 'colleagueship/helping each other', 'being together with friends', and 'making new friends.' These social benefit types were perceived as very important characteristics, but the real level of achievement was rather low. Thus it seems necessary, in the process of program development, to apply the social benefit types to the characteristics of the participants. The experience of nature and relaxation benefits in quadrant ii had the characteristics of 'relaxation and recreation', 'understanding nature', 'nature experience', 'getting away from everyday life', and 'experiencing new things.' These benefits and experience of nature were regarded as very important characteristics by the participants in outdoor recreation and, at the same time, their real achievements were highly recognized, thus they seemed to be proper types for the goals involved in developing an outdoor recreation activity program in rural areas. The personal and challenge benefits in quadrant iv had the characteristics of 'training of mental ability', 'improvement of self-esteem', 'fitness', 'increase in determination', 'possible danger', 'achievement', 'excitement', and 'adventure.' These benefits had less importance to the participants, but had relatively high achievement, thus it might be important to make further suggestions for the direction of development according to the participants' tendency, seasons and facilities.

중학교 과학 수업에서 비유물을 체계적으로 사용한 수업의 효과 (The Effect of an Instruction Using Analog Systematically in Middle School Science Class)

  • In order to use analog more systematically in science class, an instructional model was designed on the basis of analogical reasoning processes (encoding, inference, mapping, application, and response) in the Sternberg's component process theory. The model has five phases (introducing target context, cue retrieval of analog context, mapping similarity and drawing target concept, application, and elaboration), and the instructional effects of using the model upon students' comprehension of science concepts and motivation level of learning were investigated. The treatment and control groups (1 class each) were selected from 8th-grade classes and taught about chemical change and chemical reaction for the period of 10 class hours. The treatment group was taught with the materials based on the model, while the control group was taught in traditional instruction without using analog. Before the instructions, modified versions of the Patterns of Adaptive Learning Survey and the Group Assessment of Logical Thinking were administered, and their scores were used as covariates for students' conceptions and motivational level of learning, respectively. Analogical reasoning ability test was also administered, and its score was used as a blocking variable. After the instructions, students' conceptions were measured by a researcher-made science conception test, and their motivational level of learning was measured by a modified version of the Instructional Materials Motivation Scale. The results indicated that the adjusted mean score of the conception test for the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group at .01 level of significance. No significant interaction between the instruction and the analogical reasoning ability was found. Although the motivational level of learning for the treatment group was higher than that for the control group, the difference was found to be statistically insignificant. Educational implications are discussed.

유산기로 본 조선시대 사대부의 청량산 여행 (The Literati's Travels to Mt. Chungryang in the Chosun Dynasty Reflected in Travel Accounts)

  • 본 연구는 조선시대에 저술된 총 20편의 '청량산유산기'를 통해 당시 사대부들의 여행 동기를 파악하고 여정과 여행관행을 복원하여 그 특징을 규명하는 데 목적을 두었다. 또한 선행연구를 통해 고찰한 금강산 여행과 비교해, 청량산 여행이 어떠한 특성을 지니는 지에도 주목하였다. 그 결과, 여행자들의 학문적 배경 출신지 사승관계 등 개인적 특성이 여행 동기는 물론, 여정과 주요 경유지의 선정, 여행시기와 동반자 둥에 지대한 영향을 미쳤음을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 청량산 여행은 여행동기 교통수단 숙박지 등에서 금강산 여행과 유사한 측면이 맡으나, 서로 다른 점도 적지 않았다. 유사점들은 당시 사대부의 여행에서 관행으로 굳어진 것들이 대부분이었고, 차이점은 주로 여행기간과 여정의 차이에서 기인한 것이었다.

가족친화마을만들기를 위한 모델 및 핵심 요소 (A Discussion of the Family-Friendly Village Model and Important Factors)

  • A law facilitating a family-friendly social environment was legislated in December 2007. According to the law, projects for facilitating a family-friendly social environment consisted of a family-friendly working environment, a community environment, and the promotion of a family-friendly culture. There has been much progress in developing a family-friendly working environment through projects such as those advocating for flexible work hours, an employee support system, and child care and a family care support system. However, in terms of a family-friendly community environment project, there was no noticeable advancement. Hence, this study was conducted to find ways to vitalize the family-friendly village project in terms of the family-friendly community environment project. The major findings of this study were as follows: A family-friendly village could be structured on the three axes of time, space, and relation. The model of the family-friendly village project consists of the following three steps: motivation, systematization, and participating & practicing. In the motivation step, integration, community, and sustainability were needed as basic ideologies for a family-friendly village. In the systematization step, providing systematic educational systems for residents taking on leadership and activist roles was stressed. In the participating & practicing step, many ways to facilitate residents' social relationships were suggested: starting the project from matters of common interests, making the resolution of families' problems a communal task of the residents, accepting the opinions of various groups associated with the matter, and taking a differentiated project process according to the geographic, socio-economic, and demographic characteristics of the groups. It is strongly suggested that the family-friendly village should be taken as a common functional scheme in everyone of eight livable village models because a key factor in a family-friendly village, family care, serves an essential function in any livable village model.

QR코드를 활용한 주제중심 통합학습 설계 사례연구 (A Case Study on Design of Theme-based Integrated Learning by Using QR Code)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 스마트 기기를 활용한 교수-학습 설계와 학습방법에 대한 새로운 접근 및 방향을 제안하는데 있으며, 첨단 매체를 활용하여 학습자 참여를 촉진하는 게임형태의 주제중심 통합학습 교수설계의 사례를 제시하였다. QR코드를 활용한 주제중심 통합학습의 사례인 퀘스트 기반학습은 학습동기, 경험학습, 사회적 상호작용을 촉진하는 역할을 한다. QR코드를 활용한 설계는 자신의 인지구조를 확장하는데 요구되는 사회적 상호작용 전략, 동기증진 전략, 구성 주의에서 강조하는 복잡한 문제 상황과 스캐폴딩 전략이 포함된 학습자 중심 학습 환경을 지원하였다. 스마트 기기를 이용한 게임형 퀘스트 기반학습을 통해 학습에 대한 흥미 증진, 학습자 중심의 참여 학습, 활동중심, 협력학습, 사회적 상호작용을 통한 지식의 창출 측면에 대한 교수 설계에 창의적인 학습 환경을 제공하는 기회를 확인하였다.

  • e-Learning 시스템이 그 장점과 효과성을 충분히 발휘하기 위해서는 학습자의 동기 유발 및 학습 지속을 위한 세심한 교수 학습 설계가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 동기 유발 및 학습 지속의 문제를 해결하기 위해 몰입(Flow) 이론과 그와 관련된 선행 연구 자료들을 분석하고 e-Learning의 기술적 환경적 특성을 분석하여 그에 적합한 몰입 경험 촉진을 위한 교수 학습 전략들을 개발하였다. 또한 이러한 전략들의 효과성을 검증하기 위해 해당 전략들을 적용한 시스템을 구현한 후 실제교수 학습 현장에 적용하였다. 그 결과 본 연구에서 개발한 몰입 경험을 위한 교수 학습 전략들은 실제 학습자의 몰입 수준 향상에 도움을 주었으며, 그에 따라 학업 성취도 향상에도 기여했음을 확인하였다.

북한이탈주민의 창업 개인특성과 창업동기가 창업의지에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of North Korean Refugees' Individual Characteristics and Entrepreneurial Motives on Entrepreneurial Intention)

  • 북한이탈주민은 남한사회에서 적응하는 과정에서 경험하는 경제적인 어려움은 낮은 소득수준과 전문성 부족에서 찾아볼 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 북한이탈주민을 대상으로 하는 창업지원을 위해서 정책과 제도개선 방안을 목적으로 수행되었다. 본 연구결과 창업자의 개인적 특성인 자기효능감이 창업의지에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 창업동기와 창업교육도 창업의지에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 사회적 적응의 조절효과를 살펴본 결과 창업자의 개인적 특성 중 위험감수성향과 창업경험이 사회적응과의 상호작용과 창업동기와 사회적응의 상호작용을 통해서 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 북한이탈주민의 효율적인 창업지원 정착을 위해서는 창업자의 자기효능감을 높일 수 있는 창업교육이 필요하며, 창업동기와 위험감수성향과 사회적응 정도에 따라 창업지원이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

마이크로티칭에서 예비수학교사들의 동기유발에 대한 수업 행동과 변화 (A study on pre-service mathematics teachers' teaching behaviors and changes about motivation in microteaching)

  • 본 연구에서는 마이크로티칭에서 예비수학교사들의 동기유발에 대한 수업 행동과 변화를 알아보기 위해 두 차례의 마이크로티칭을 실시하고, 녹화된 자료와 수업 분석보고서를 분석하였다. 예비수학교사들은 동기유발을 위해 다양한 전략을 사용하였으나 사용하지 못하는 전략들도 있었다. 또한, 동기유발에 대한 행동 변화에서 긍정적인 측면도 있지만, 그렇지 못한 경우도 있다. 이는 두 차례의 마이크로티칭의 경험만으로 모든 동기유발 전략에 관련된 수업 개선의 효과를 기대하기 힘들다는 것이다. 그러나 마이크로티칭을 통해 예비수학교사들은 반성에 의한 행동 변화와 미래 수업에 대한 개선의 의지를 보였다. 따라서 예비수학교사들이 자신의 수업에 대한 반성을 통해 수업을 개선할 수 있도록 체계적인 교육 프로그램의 개발과 이를 교원 양성기관인 대학에서 효율적으로 활용하는 방안에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 아울러, 예비수학교사들의 동기유발에 대한 수업 행동의 개선을 위해 마이크로티칭과 같은 다양한 교육 프로그램을 예비수학교사들에게 더 많이 제공할 필요가 있다.

뇌졸중 환자의 재활참여가 기능회복에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Patients' Level of Participation in Rehabilitation on Functional Outcome in Patients With Stroke)

  • Background: Stroke recovery is a long and complex process. Successful stroke recovery seems to be strongly associated with patients' high motivation and committed participation. Patients' motivation is a key determinant of successful rehabilitation outcomes, but it is difficult in defining and measuring. Patients' participation is defined as the degree or extent to which subjects take part in rehabilitation activities and can be measured by observable behavior. Objects: The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of patients' level of participation in rehabilitation on functional outcomes in patients with stroke. Methods: Forty post-stroke inpatients participated in this study. The level of rehabilitation participation was measured by the Hopkins Rehabilitation Engagement Rating Scale (HRERS). Other measures used for the evaluation were the Rivermead Mobility Index (RMI) and Korean version of the Modified Barthel Index (K-MBI). Overall measurements were made at early intervention and late intervention. Spearman correlation and multiple regression were used to measure the relationships between HRERS, RMI, and K-MBI. Results: The correlation found between HRERS total scores at early intervention and RMI total scores of late intervention was above moderate (r = 0.607, p < 0.01). RMI total scores at early intervention (p < 0.000), HRERS total scores at early intervention (p < 0.001), and disease duration (p < 0.003) were significant predictors of RMI total scores at late intervention. Conclusion: The level of participation at early intervention was associated with improvement in mobility. The level of mobility at early intervention, disease duration, and patients' participation at early intervention were important determinants of functional outcome. These findings suggest that patients' participation should be encouraged in order to achieve successful stroke recovery.
