  • Supply of a smart device has been made with the development of communication networks and growing desire of people to improve the quality of life, the service industry about it have been made with smart devices. Among them, there are various services that can help people change their behavior to healthy life. But it does not have a large impact on the behavior change of performer because its been developed as a general process. Therefore in this study examine development situation about current behavior change applications through application markets. Development current situation can be separated by process to two patterns. As a result we propose behavioral change model that includes integrated change model that one of the behavior theory model, accomplish the goal process of goal setting theory and habit formation phase for automate the changes. Also, we provide appropriate service according to the model that leads motivation, sustainability of the action and positive behavior change to performer. We can expect in many aspects such as ability and motivation than existing service.

  • Relationship Marketing has been dealt with as an effective strategy to sustain customer loyalty in many previous researches. For relationship development, a customer's efforts are necessary as well as an organization's efforts. However, the role of customers for the development of the relationship with an organization has been dealt in few previous researches so far. Furthermore, whereas researchers understand the importance of consumers' motivation in the relationship, few researchers had paid attention. This research is based on the Self-Determination Theory (SDT) to explain the role of customer motivation in the process of relationship development and performance. We started by using SDT to confirm the psychological side of relationship development in customer aspects. Then, this paper verified the relationships among environmental factors(informative communication, perceived personalization), relationship motivation(identified motivation, internal motivation) and relational factors(affective commitment, relationship strength). It suggested that customer's roles in psychological parts be inevitable in developing the relationship and it acquired by such stimulations from service providers. In conclusion, this paper has several marketing implications on customer acquisition and retention. For service providers, they should recognize the fact that a customer's perception of self-determination factors can generate tangible and intangible performance in relationship development.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of usage motivation of SNS emoticons in Northeast Asian culture regions, with the strong influence of normative society and to interpret these characteristics based on traditional humanistic thought. Since the mainstream SNS of each country is different, this study focused on China's WeChat. For the research, we found 38 motivations for the use of emoticons through literature research and interviews with 21 users, and we surveyed 209 participants for usage motivation. The results were as follows: First, six factors were derived from the motivation for use of emoticons, these factors were named emotional expressions, aesthetics, usability, impression management, entertainment, and sense of collectivism. Second, we explained how the ideas of 'Hwa(和)' and 'Ye(禮)' appeared in the use of emoticons, focusing on 'Impression management' and 'Sense of collectivism' among the motives of using emoticons. Hwa(和) is interpreted as a factor of 'sense of collectivism' which intends to strengthen the feeling of belonging in the chat room using emoticons and actively emphasize oneself and to be well integrated in the communication process. Ye (禮) is interpreted as a factor of 'impression management' which forms and maintains a better relationship with the moral code of ethics.

  • In this study, the effects of extraversion/introversion grouping and the differences between extroverts and introverts in cooperative learning strategy applied to general science class were investigated. Ninety-three 10th-graders were grouped into homogeneous and heterogeneous cooperative groups with respect to extraversion and introversion, and were taught about matter for 10 class periods. Prior to the instructions, three tests regarding the extraversion/introversion, logical thinking, and learning motivation were administered. After the instructions, their achievements, process skills, self-esteem, communication apprehension, and learning motivation were examined. Two-way ANCOVA results revealed that there were no main and interactive effects in the scores of the achievement and the process skills tests. However, significant interactive effect was found in the self-esteem. While the difference in the self-esteem of the introverts and the extroverts was small in the homogeneous group, the self-esteem of the extroverts was higher than that of the introverts in the heterogeneous group. The communication apprehension of the introverts was significantly lower than that of the extroverts. Students' perceptions to their group activities and group members were also studied.

  • The international SPICE (Software Process Improvement and Capability determination) Project ISO/IEC 15504(SPICE : Software Process Improvement and Capability determination) is an emerging International Standard on SPA(Software Process Assessment). A prime motivation for developing this standard has been the perceived need for an internationally recognized software process assessment framework that pulls together the existing public and proprietary models and methods. A SPICE assessment can be considered as one of representative SPA model since assessors assign ratings to indicators and metrics to measure the capability of software process. But this models doesn't provide a systematic measurement procedures and dynamic method for SPI(Software Process Improvement). Through the evaluation of SPICE is capable of providing a substantiated basis for using the notion of capability, as well as providing information for nacessary improvements to the standard using 6sigma process. As a result, this paper propose a measurement procedure and guidelines for application of 6sigma process to guarantee the reliability in SPI and suggest the structure to support SPI on overall organization.

  • This paper proposes a fourth generation index $C_{psk}$, constructed from $C_{psk}$, by introducing the factor|$\mu$-T| in the numerator as an extra penalty for the departure of the process mean from the preassigned target value T. The motivation behind the introduction of $C_{psk}$ is that when $T\neqM$ process shifts away from target are evaluated without respect to direction. All indices that are now in use assume normally distributed data, and any use of the indices on non-normal data results in inaccurate capability measurements. In this paper, a new process capability index $C_{psk}$ is introduced for non-normal process. The Pearson curve and the Johnson curve are selected for capability index calculation and data modeling the normal-based index $C_{psk}$ is used as the model for non-normal process. A significant result of this research find that the ranking of the six indices, $C_{p}$, $C_{pk}$, $C_{pm}$, ${C^*}_{psk}$, $C_{pmk}$, $C_{psk}$in terms of sensitivity to departure of the process median from the target value from the most sensitive one up to the least sensitive are $C_{psk}$, $C_{pmk}$, ${C^*}_{psk}$,$C_{pm}$, $C_{pk}$, $C_{p}$.

  • In this work, a new non-photolithographic micro-fabrication technique is presented. The motivation of this work is to overcome the demerits of the most commonly used photolithographic techniques. The micro-fabrication technique presented in this work is a two-step process which consists of mechanical scribing followed by chemical etching. This method has many advantages over other micro-fabrication techniques since it is simple, cost-effective, rapid, and flexible. Also, the technique can be used to obtain a metal structure which has sub-micrometer width patterns. In this paper, the concept of this method and its application to microsystem technology are described.
