It is important to understand the current status and problems of the North Korean shipping industry to prepare for inter-Korean trade in the future era of peace in the Korean Peninsula. In this study, the status of vessels calling in North and South ports was analyzed by year, cargo type (vessel type), and North Korean port type using Port-MIS data. In particular, considering the three years (2006-2008) in which inter-Korean trade was the most active, the flow of maritime transport was analyzed by visualizing data on vessels' arrival and departure in the North and South ports. Findings revealed that sea transportation between Haeju-Incheon was the most frequent, while the Haeju-Mokpo and Nampo-Incheon routes in the west coast area, and the Najin-Busan route in the east coast area were active. With reference to general cargo vessels, ports located on the west coast of Korea tended to operate between those located on the North coast of North Korea and on the east coast of South Korea. These results are expected to serve as a basis for establishing research and policies related to coastal shipping between the two Koreas in the future.

In this study, I compared the pattern design method of classic shirts focused on the men's clothing consturction textbook. It was intended to select a shirt pattern drawing method suitable for men in their 20s by conducing a appearance evaluation with a 3D simulation program. Pattern drawing method, sizes, appearance evaluation, garment pressure. were evaluated, and SPSS 26.0 program was used for analysis. According to the Pattern drawing method, there were differences in application sizes, and there were many parts where designated sizes were applied. The shirt pattern is mostly the same for the front chest and back chest, front waist and back waist. However, if there is a front and back difference of the chest and the waist circumference, the fit was considered better. B pattern was evaluated as the best in appearance evaluation, color distribution, and mesh condition through 3D simulation, and B pattern was analyzed as the most suitable method for men in their 20s. Since this study applied the average sizes of the 7th Korean Human Body Dimension Survey report in 20s, it is thought that caution should be paid to apply them to all 20s. In the future, it is also thought that research on the actual fit and patterns of various body types and materials in their 20s should be carried out.
Background and objective: There is growing concern about the effects of modern society on mental health, coming with Covid-19-related caveats on depression, anxiety, and stress (DAS). This can be a subject to provide alternative methods which alleviate DAS. In line with this context, sensory gardens are widely acknowledged to stimulate the five major senses (sight, sound, taste, touch, and smell) and can have a significant (positive) impact on mental health. However, there is limited empirical evidence on the effect of these gardens with regard to alleviating DAS - particularly with respect to urban society This is a gab in knowledge how such limits can be addressed. Accordingly, this present study is clearly needed in order to verify if there are any correlations between sensory gardens and (positive) effects on DAS. The aim of this study was therefore to understand current levels of DAS in a high density building with a sensory garden in a courtyard and determine correlations between experiences in the sensory courtyard and levels of DAS. Methods: The Depression Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-21) was employed to test the level of DAS. Results: Additionally, 13 different factors associated with experiences in the building, including the stimulation of the five major senses in the sensory courtyard, were measured to reveal their contribution to mitigating depression, anxiety, and stress. It is noted that the average levels of DAS were 7.91, 7.77 and 9.01 respectively indicating that the mental health of participants requires mental health management. However, results show that factors associated with the sensory courtyard could improve mental health. For example, new social relationships, walking with colleagues, and the stimulation of each of the five major senses in the sensory garden could improve DAS. Conclusion: This illustrates that external experiences are more effective at mitigating depression, anxiety, and stress than internal ones. Factor analysis revealed four components: stimulating the five senses; internal and external facilities; internet-based device use; and new social relationships. There was a strong positive correlation between new social relationships and walking with colleagues. There were also strong positive correlations among the stimulation of each of the five senses. In conclusion, there are strong indications that sensory courtyards can help alleviate DAS and should therefore be promoted, particularly in the current Covid-19 situation wherein the physical and mental health of the public at large are threatened. Accordingly, courtyard design should be rethought in light of the relationship between the positive impact of sensory gardens and mental health.

This study was executed to develop an education program, which improves knowledge for dementia prevention of the middle aged and enhances positive attitudes, and provide basic data that can apply to communities by inquiring into the middle aged's dementia knowledge, attitudes and needs for dementia prevention education. The study data were collected from 218 people aged 40 to 64 in N city from October 15th to November 30th 2018. For data analysis, frequencies and percentages, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffé test and Pearson's correlation coefficients were applied. The study result displayed that the score of the middle aged's dementia knowledge was above average(9.13±2.20). The question 'Dementia is a disease.' earned the highest percentage of correct answers(88.1%), whereas the question 'Dementia is caused by medical, neurologic or psychiatric disorders.' earned the lowest percentage of correct answers(30.3%). The scores of attitudes towards dementia(34.33±5.69) and needs for dementia prevention education(23.58±3.46) were above average. In addition, there was a statistically significant positive correlation between attitudes towards dementia and needs for dementia prevention education(r=.275, p<.000). In conclusion, it was revealed that positive attitudes towards dementia had a close relation with needs for dementia prevention education. These findings implies that there will be a need to develop a systematic education program about dementia for the middle aged and seek proper political improvements of dementia through cooperation between communities and the country.

This study was carried out to provide basic data for prevention of burnout by measuring levels of self-efficacy, social support and burnout that nursing students experienced during clinical practice and identifying factors influencing burnout. This is a descriptive research targeting 173 junior- and senior-year nursing students in Y area, and data were collected from October 15th to November 4th 2019. For data analysis, frequencies and percentages were calculated, and t-test and ANOVA were conducted along with the Scheffé test as a post-test. In addition, Pearson's correlation coefficients and multiple regression analysis were employed. The study results are as follows. There were significant differences in self-efficacy, social support and burnout depending on grades(t= -2.20, p=.029) and major satisfaction(F=3.62, p=.029) among general characteristics of nursing students. When analyzing correlations among self-efficacy, social support and burnout of nursing students, there was a positive correlation between self-efficacy and social support(r=.214, p=.005), a negative correlation between burnout and self-efficacy(r=-.253, p<.001) and a negative correlation between burnout and social support(r=-.175, p=.021). Major satisfaction(β= -.21, p=.006) had the biggest influence on burnout, and it was followed by self-efficacy(β= -.16, p=.032) and social support(β= -.15, p=.047). The explanatory power of the model was 13.8 percent. In conclusion, it is required to improve university life satisfaction and clinical practice satisfaction and develop programs, which enhance social support and self-efficacy, for preventing burnout of nursing students during clinical practice.

The performance of the relief wells installed for the purpose of controlling seepage of the dam embankment is affected by various parameters such as diameter, spacing, penetration rate, permeability coefficient of the ground, thickness of the foundation layer. Therefore, when the relief wells are adopted for the purpose of reducing seepage pressure, these parameters should be sufficiently reviewed to determine the installation specifications of the relief wells. This study evaluated the effect of the length of the geosynthetics blanket on the performance of the relief wells installed in the downstream part of the dam embankment with blankets in the upstream and downstream part of the dam embankment as countermeasure methods to control seepage of the dam embankment. In the relationship between the length of the upstream and downstream blanket and the discharge, the discharge of the relief wells decreases as the length of the upstream blanket increases, and on the other hand, the discharge of the relief wells decreases as the length of the downstream blanket increases. In the upper and lower blanket length-spacing relationship, as the length of the upstream blanket increases, the spacing of the relief wells increases and as the length of the downstream blanket increases, the spacing of the relief wells decreases. Therefore, when installing the relief wells in parallel with the blanket, it was found that increasing the length of the upstream blanket is more efficient than increasing the length of the downstream blanket in order to minimize the discharge of seepage discharge and to ensure economic feasibility by wider installation of the relief wells.

Thanks to the latest developments in digital architectural technologies, free-form designs that maximize the creativity of architects have rapidly increased. However, there are a lot of difficulties in forming various free-form curved surfaces. In panelizing to produce free forms, the methods of mesh, developable surface, tessellation and subdivision are applied. The process of applying such panelizing methods when producing free-form panels is complex, time-consuming and requires a vast amount of manpower when extracting production data. Therefore, algorithms are needed to quickly and systematically extract production data that are needed for panel production after a free-form building is designed. In this respect, the purpose of this study is to propose mathematical algorithms for the automatic generation of production data of free-form panels in consideration of the building model, performance of production equipment and pattern information. To accomplish this, mathematical algorithms were suggested upon panelizing, and production data for a CNC machine were extracted by mapping as free-form curved surfaces. The study's findings may contribute to improved productivity and reduced cost by realizing the automatic generation of data for production of free-form concrete panels.

In addition to the assessment measure of electric quality levels, load loss are also a factor in hindering the financial profits of electrical sales companies. Therefore, accurate analysis of load losses generated from distributed power networks is very important. The accurate calculation of load losses in the distribution line has been carried out for a long time in many research institutes as well as power utilities around the world. But it is increasingly difficult to calculate the exact amount of loss due to the increase in the congestion of distribution power network due to the linkage of distributed energy resources(DER). In this paper, we develop smart grid big data infrastructure in order to accurately analyze the load loss of the distribution power network due to the connection of DERs. Through the preprocess of data selected from the smart grid big data, we develop a load loss analysis model that eliminated 'veracity' which is one of the characteristics of smart grid big data. Our analysis results can be used for facility investment plans or network operation plans to maintain stable supply reliability and power quality.

In order to effectively secure site suitability for the development of large-scale offshore wind farms, it is essential to minimize the environmental impact of development and analyze the conflicts of benefit between social, ecological, and economic core values. In addition, a preliminary review of site adequacy must be preceded in order not to collide with other used areas in the marine spatial plan. In addition, it is necessary to conduct local meteorological characteristics analysis including wind resources near Jeollanam-do area before project feasibility study. Therefore, wind resource analysis was performed using the observation data of the meteorological mast installed in Wangdeungnyeo near Anmado, Yeonggwang, and the optimal site was selected after excluding geographical constraints related to the location of the offshore wind farm. In addition, the annual energy production was calculated by deriving the optimal wind farm arrangement results suitable for the local wind resources characteristics based on WindSim SW, and it is intended to be used as basic research data for site discovery and selection of suitable sites for future offshore wind farm projects.
