Surface 및 Solid 방식의 비교를 통한 Parametric 기법의 토공물량산출 방법 (Parametric Quantity Take-Off of Earthwork by Comparing the Use of Surface and Solid Models)

  • There exists no precedented case of quantity take-off, using parametric modeling, from BIM-based irregular structures. Civil 3D provides earthwork quantity take-off based on surface modeling. Generally, designers should enter data into the specification additionally after extracting quantity estimation from earthwork modeling design. The objective of this report is to suggest the method from quantity take-off to specification of BIM-based earthwork quantities. We intend to investigate earthwork take-off method by Civil3D and explain why parametric information extraction is required for quantity estimation and specification and how information of earthwork quantity based on solid and surface modeling is connected to open quantity take-off module. It is highly expected that this suggestion would be the practical methodology of earthwork quantity take-off and specification in the field of civil engineering.

모바일기반으로한 EEG표시 및 장치개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on mobile based EEG display and device development)

  • This research measures EEG signals which are generating on head skin and extracts brain concentration level related with brain activity. We have developed concentration wireless transmission system by displaying this EEG signal on PDA mobile device. The front head was used for measuring EEG signal and INA128 with TL084 and analog elements was used for measuring EEG signal, amplifying and filtering the signal. Measured analog EEG signals changed into digital signals by using ADC of PIC24FJ192 with 10bit resolution and 500Ks/s sampling rate. So The changed digital signals have transmitted to the PDA by using bluetooth. LabView 8.5 was also used for FFT transformation, frequency and spectrum analysis of the transferred EEG signal. As a result, $\alpha$ wave, $\beta$ wave, $\theta$ wave and $\delta$ wave were classified. we extracted the concentration index by adapting concentration extraction algorithm. This concentration index was transferred into PDA by wireless module and displaying.

열전 모듈의 SPICE 모델링 (SPICE Modeling for Thermoelectric Modules)

  • 열전소자의 SPICE 모델을 유도하였고, Harman method를 이용하여 전기적인 측정과 열전 소자 양단면의 온도 측정값 만으로 모델 파라미터를 추출하기 위한 방법을 제시하였다. 본 논문에서 제시된 SPICE 모델 파라미터 추출방식은 열전도 측정 데이터를 사용하지 않고, 모델 파라미터를 추출할 수 있으며, 기존의 열전도 측정에 의한 값과 비교하였을 때 오차가 크지 않아서 실제로 열전 모듈을 제작하였을 때 유용하게 사용할 수 있는 방법이 될 수 있음을 보였다. 제시된 SPICE 모델은 열전모듈을 이용한 냉각 장치와 열전 발전 장치의 열적 시뮬레이션과 전기적인 시뮬레이션에 모두 적용이 가능하다.

정반 배치용 블록 투영 형상 생성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Generation of Block Projections for the Assembly Shops)

  • To raise the industrial competitiveness in the field of ship-building, it is crucially important that the yard should use production facilities and working space effectively. Among the related works, the management of tremendous blocks' number, the limited area of assembly shops and inefficient personnel and facility management still need to be improved in terms of being exposed to a lot of problems. To settle down these conundrums, the various strategies of block arrangement on the assembly floors have been recently presented and in the results, have increasingly began to be utilized in practice. However, it is a wonder that the sampled or approximated block shapes which usually are standardized projections or the geometrically convex contour only have been prevailed until now. In this study, all parts including the panel, stiffeners, outer shells, and all kinds of outfitting equipment are first extracted using the Volume Primitive plug-in module from the ship customized CAD system and then, the presented system constructs a simpler and more compact ship data structure and finally generates the novel projected contours for the block arrangement system using the adaptive concave hull algorithm.

DSP를 이용한 자동차 소음에 강인한 음성인식기 구현 (Implementation of a Robust Speech Recognizer in Noisy Car Environment Using a DSP)

  • In this paper, we implemented a robust speech recognizer using the TMS320VC33 DSP. For this implementation, we had built speech and noise database suitable for the recognizer using spectral subtraction method for noise removal. The recognizer has an explicit structure in aspect that a speech signal is enhanced through spectral subtraction before endpoints detection and feature extraction. This helps make the operation of the recognizer clear and build HMM models which give minimum model-mismatch. Since the recognizer was developed for the purpose of controlling car facilities and voice dialing, it has two recognition engines, speaker independent one for controlling car facilities and speaker dependent one for voice dialing. We adopted a conventional DTW algorithm for the latter and a continuous HMM for the former. Though various off-line recognition test, we made a selection of optimal conditions of several recognition parameters for a resource-limited embedded recognizer, which led to HMM models of the three mixtures per state. The car noise added speech database is enhanced using spectral subtraction before HMM parameter estimation for reducing model-mismatch caused by nonlinear distortion from spectral subtraction. The hardware module developed includes a microcontroller for host interface which processes the protocol between the DSP and a host.

2중 송수신 모듈을 이용한 2차원 근거리 FMCW 레이다 (Two-Dimensional Short Range FMCW Radar Using Dual Transceiver Modules)

  • 본 논문에서는 2중의 송수신 모듈을 이용하여 2차원 상의 표적 위치를 탐지하고, 실시간으로 추적할 수 있는 근거리 FMCW 레이다를 설계 및 제작하였다. 시분할로 동작하는 송수신 모듈로부터 수집된 1차원 거리 정보를 교차 활용하여 2차원 위치를 추출하는 기법을 제안하였고, 2차원 근거리 레이다에 성공적으로 적용하였다. 개별 레이다의 송수신 모듈에 대한 성능 측정 결과로 10 m와 30 m 위치에 있는 표적에 대한 결과를 제시하였으며, 주파수 분해능에 대응하는 range bin을 이용한 2차원 표적 맵을 활용하여 2차원 레이다의 성능 검증이 수행되었고, 제안된 기법의 유효성을 확인하였다.

  • Question Answering (QA) 서비스는 사용자의 자연어 질의에 대응하는 정확한 답변을 제공하는 시스템이다. 본 연구는 특정 도메인에 관련한 사용자들의 질문에 대해 QA 서비스가 자동으로 대응하는 방법에 관한 연구이다. 이를 수행하기 위하여 사용자의 자연어 질문을 이해하고, 정형 데이터 및 비정형 데이터로부터 사용자 질문에 적합한 답변을 도출하여 제공하는 방법을 제시한다. 실험 결과 top 1 accuracy 68%, top 5 accuracy 77% 결과를 얻었다. 또한 본 논문은 QA 시스템 내부 모듈이 전체 accuracy에 미치는 영향에 대해서도 기술하였다.

  • Three dimensional (3D) position determination and motion recognition using a 3D depth sensor camera are applied to a developed penguin-shaped robot, and its validity and closeness are investigated. The robot is equipped with an Asus Xtion Pro Live as a 3D depth camera, and a sound module. Using the skeleton information from the motion recognition data extracted from the camera, the robot is controlled so as to follow the typical three mode-reactions formed by the operator's gestures. In this study, the extraction of skeleton joint information using the 3D depth camera is introduced, and the tracking performance of the operator's motions is explained.

  • Correlation Filter was recently demonstrated to have good characteristics in the field of video object tracking. The advantages of Correlation Filter based trackers are reflected in the high accuracy and robustness it provides while maintaining a high speed. However, there are still some necessary improvements that should be made. First, most trackers cannot handle multi-scale problems. To solve this problem, our algorithm combines position estimation with scale estimation. The difference from the traditional method in regard to the scale estimation is that, the proposed method can track the scale of the object more quickly and effective. Additionally, in the feature extraction module, the feature representation of traditional algorithms is relatively simple, and furthermore, the tracking performance is easily affected in complex scenarios. In this paper, we design a novel and powerful feature that can significantly improve the tracking performance. Finally, traditional trackers often suffer from model drift, which is caused by occlusion and other complex scenarios. We introduce a relocation component to detect object at other locations such as the secondary peak of the response map. It partly alleviates the model drift problem.

구조 최적화를 위한 비정형 구조시스템의 인터페이스 기법 (Interface Technique for Optimization of Free-form Structural System)

  • 최근 컴퓨터 기술의 발달로 인해 복잡한 형태를 가지는 기념비적인 건축물이 설계, 시공됨에 따라 비정형건축에 관한 사회적인 관심이 해외뿐만 아니라 국내에서도 증가하고 있다. 하지만 비정형 구조시스템의 구현하기 위한 기술 및 연구에 대한 사례가 부족하여 많은 어려움이 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 연구에서는 3D모델링 프로그램과 최적설계를 수행하는 프로그램간의 인터페이스 모듈에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 3D 모델링 프로그램에서 자동 메쉬를 생성하고, 모델링에 대한 정보를 바로 추출하여 최적화를 수행하였다. 결과적으로 개발된 인터페이스 모듈의 검증을 위해 예제 모델을 선정하여 형상최적화을 수행하였다.
