In modern society, there has been an increase in needs to protect the life and property of the people, because the number of various crimes is on the increase due to the sudden and complicated changes of the urban environment. For the needs, security persons in the urban area are expanding the role and skill of police for more effective crime prevention and surveillance, although the number of policeman/woman is insufficient and their tasks are hard. Recently, a system to observe and prevent crime in effective has been introduced by using such an artificial surveillance device as CCTV to monitor focusing on one area for 24 hours. However, the system brings such problems as the insufficiency of systematic criteria to install surveillance device and the invasion of privacy. Therefore, in this study, artificial surveillance zones to monitor crimes are selected by applying spatial features between artificial surveillance devices including CCTV and crime occurrence place, and using GIS spatial analysis techniques. As a result of selecting, it's found that the number of CCTV is absolutely insufficient and spatial distribution is not fully considered in the existing location of installed CCTV.
21st century has become an era can design human's image. By designing the each human's images it is possible to express the hidden abilities of their mind. Modern society changes rapidly where the elements such as consideration, sympathy, understandings, and female leadership of communication emerge as a spur rather than speediness or complexity. In a lot of global conglomerates, it is very common for women to be selected as CEO, and even more, the rate of woman who are the member of Congress is almost 40%. The fashion of female leader has come to the fore with an improvement of female leadership, and the fashion colour which is suitable to P.O has been developed as a significant image strategy. I am going to conduct the research and analyse the fashion of a female political leader through the colour image which is equivalent to a visual image and sensitive language. I will analyze the human image which female leaders present through fashion colors.
French poststructuralists Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari pointed out that the minority age already has come in the modern society through discussing minority topic. Futhermore, they supported 'Becoming' as new methodology that minorities escape from suppressed reality. 'Becoming' is the practical concept for how one identity could split into different lives and subjects, thus it could be explained as an exemplary that autonomous change and actively entering into different lives. The purpose of this study seeks the practical way for elder women can independently participate in media education which is based on concretely 'becoming woman'. For this, the article examines the main concept and thought of Deleuze and Guattari. The reason why this article premises this theory is for changing 'desire' of elder women's approach to 'becoming women' through new interpretation about minority and minorities which were defined by quantitative criteria. Consequently, this article would suggests the direction of senior media education for seniors for the positive and specific effect.
As performing arts including operas are getting popular these days, the importance of stage costumes is strengthened. Stage costume is one of the artistic requisites for opera performance, it plays an important role in describing the play's situation, the director's style and the person's character. Nevertheless the study regarding the opera's costumes is not active, especially the comparative study on the same opera's costumes performed by different opera companies have hardly been made. Therefore this study compared 5 Manon Lescaut opera performances: the Metropolitan Opera(1980), the Flemish Opera(1991), the Metropolitan Opera(2008), the Seoul Metropolitan Opera(2010) and the Vienna State Opera(2010) and made clear the difference between the four. From this study, we can get the following conclusions. First, the Metropolitan Opera's costumes in 1980 act and in 2008 act ascertained Rococo dressing. Because the costume designer for both acts was the same person, the general costume styles of the two acts are similar. Second, as for the Flemish Opera and Seoul Metropolitan Opera, there was a significant drop in fancy details and trimmings in the costumes. But the costumes made strong impressions dues to its color and luminosity contrast. Third, Vienna State Opera costumes had the boldest designs and it reflected modern designs as well. This study is meaningful in that it is based on the comparison study on the same opera stage costumes designed by different directors. Afterward this study is expected to contribute toward study on opera stage costumes and stage costume's development.

The purpose of this study was to re-interpret the traditional patterns in modern point of view and connect them to the apparel textile design to use them widely in our real life. For this, a documentary research on the traditional patterns and arabesque patterns was made first, and then, through the manual and photoshop workings, two apparel textile designs were suggested. As a result, the followings were acquired: First, the arabesque pattern, which is a traditional pattern of Korea, has a continuous life power and a natural formative characteristics. In its pattern, there is an abundant possibility of change. So, it has a wide usability regardless of time and space. As the symbolic image of the arabesque pattern is connected with the instinctive beauty sense of human beings, it has shown the more adhesive affinity that any other materials. Second, two kinds of textile design were suggested. The motif of work 1, "Fragrance of Woman," was the richness and the harmony, and so a lotus arabesque pattern was selected to present its concept, "Classic Elegance." The expression technique was to use a manual work and cloths to make it a voluminous one. The motif of work 2, "Green Field" was to show the clean beauty with a lotus arabesque pattern. This study considers the correlation between model pose and clothes in Patrick Demarchelier's fashion photos as well as expression characteristics. The conclusions of the study are as follows. The type of model pose in Patrick Demarchelier's fashion photos can be categorized into five types: maximized type of upper and lower body part, minimized type of upper and lower body part, maximized type of upper body and minimized type of lower body part, minimized type of upper body and maximized type of lower body part, basic type of upper and lower body part. In case of having examined the correlation between body movement and costume, the clothes in the model pose included in the maximization of the body were formed mainstream by silhouette, which was formed by decorative elements or full drapery. In the model poses included in the reduction of the body, the costume tended to expose many parts of the body to provide a simple or structural silhouette form. The costume was expressed in colorful form and poses assumed without body movements. The expression characteristics of the model poses in Patrick Demarchelier's fashion photos were sensuality, dynamicity, and simplicity. First, sensuality was expressed as feminine sensuality accompanying an erotic mood by naturally emphasizing a woman's breast or leg by reducing the body. Second, dynamicity provided a vividness to the image as if directly living and moving by highlighting the rhythmic aspect of the body. Simplicity aroused the effect of paying attention to clothes or other incidental elements rather than the image expressed by the body of a model by excluding body movement.
