  • Jini architecture's Network Plug and Work provides simple and flexible network environment for distributed applications. Through the Jini technology, facilities for dynamically registering and locating mobile agent services can be easily supported, as well as the services useful for activities of mobile agents can be dynamically supported. In this paper, we describe a Jini-based mobile agent system named JMoblet, which provides the basic functions of a mobile agent system such as creation, control, transfer, location and communication among agents. To increase the reliability of the system, it also provides exception handling and persistence of the mobile agent systems for reliability.

  • Untact marketing emerged as one of the top 10 marketing in 2018. Since then, the scale of the mobile payment market has expanded, and the ratio of payment through mobile is melting into life even offline. Various mobile apps such as Samsung Pay and Smart Order are already popular systems, and various other mobile payment systems are increasing. For such mobile payments, this paper aims to comprehensively design a general-purpose untouched offline payment system by designing a mobile payment system that applies a short-range wireless communication method along with a study on the currently available mobile payment-linked API. We propose an offline payment system with an untouch method to prevent the spread of infectious diseases and contribute to a healthy society by solving the problem and minimizing contact with others in the current situation like the Corona 19 Incident.

  • Recently mobile communication systems have supported various multimedia services based on wideband code division multiple access (WCDMA). In November 2013, the statistics reported that the domestic subscriber number of mobile communication systems was totally 54 million 514 thousand 397 in using feature phones and smart phones. Therefore, the user number of mobile communication services has surpassed over 4 million rather than the whole number of population. The sharp increase of the mobile user number has made the network management and analysis for mobile communication services more important than before. Besides, the service quality has been studied in various ways. This paper has implemented the simulator calculating the channel capacity of mobile communication systems to support secure and stable services for both feature phones on CDMA and smart phones on WCDMA. By using the simulator, this paper has analyzed the characteristics of the various channel capacity in mobile communication environments.

  • Mobile phone media have extended the terrain of human communication. Starting from the notion of McLuhan, this study suggests that the extension of human communication is a concept of multiple dimension, such as 'extension of function' and 'extension of ego' Mobile phone speed the pare and efficiency of life, but also allow more flexibility at business and professional levels as well as family and personal life. On the other hand, mobile phone is also conceived as a personality kit, that is as a symbol of user's identity. So we ran classify the mobile phone users as a typology of motivation. Group I, entitled 'hyper-coordination', has high instrumental and high expressive motivation. Group II(='instrumental') is high instrumental but low expressive. Group III(='expressive') is low instrumental and high expressive, and Group IV(='minimal') is low in both instrumentality and expressiveness of mobile phone use. Then would the hyper-coordination group have different usage pattern with the other groups? A sample of 482 university students completed survey questionnaire. , which states hyper-coordination group would most frequently make calls and text, and have largest extensity and variety of usage, is supported statistically. states that hyper-coordination group would have larger and deeper social network than the other groups. This hypothesis is also supported with statistics.

A Digital Nominative Proxy Signature Scheme for Mobile Communication (이동 통신에서 적용 가능한 수신자 지정 대리 서명 방식)

  • Based on the development of mobile communication, the future mobile communication systems are expected to provide higher quality of multimedia services for users than today\`s systems. Therefore, many technical factors are needed in this systems. Especially the secrecy and the safety would be obtained through the introduction of the security for mobile communication. In this paper, we presents a digital nominative proxy signature scheme that processes a user\`s digital signature and encryption using the proxy-agent who has more computational power than origins in mobile communication. The proposed scheme provides non-repudiation and prevents creating illegal signature by the origin and proxy-agent in a phase of proxy signature processing. Also this scheme satisfies the confidentiality and safety in the mobile communication through a confirming signature by the right receiver.

  • As the electronic commerce increases rapidly in the mobile communication, security issues become more important. A suitable authentication and key agreement for the mobile communication environment is a essential condition. Some protocols based on the public key cryptosystem such as Diffie-Hellman, EIGamal etc. were adapted in the mobile communication. But these protocols that are based on the difficult mathematical problem in the algebra, are so slow and have long key-length. Therefore, these have many limitation to apply to the mobile communication. In this paper, we propose an authentication and key agreement protocol based on NTRU to overcome the restriction of the mobile communication environment such as limited sources. low computational fewer, and narrow bandwidth. The proposed protocol is faster than other protocols based on ECC, because of addition and shift operation with small numbers in the truncated polynomial ring. And it is as secure as other existent mathematical problem because it is based on finding the Shortest or Closest Vector Problem(SVP/CVP).

  • The development of the mobile communication has been enlarged gradually and has been changed voice centered services into data centered ones supporting Internet to provide various kinds of mobile internet services. Researches for data transmission have been achieved actively lot the effective approachment of web in the mobile terminal. The users using mobile communication are increasing for its easy handcarried and movement and the information in internet based upon wire communication has been changed into mobile communication fast. The development of mobile internet requires various mobile contents using mobile internet at any time and at any place due to rapid enhance of network capacity and mobile internet according to network expansion. To accept these needs, there are many difficult problems that contents must be remade according to various terminal features and the develoument costs much. To solve these problems, this paper has the pun)me that contents of Web documents are changed and processed through XML palter and design new mobile contents system, providing mobile services rapidly and obtaining the charge reduction result with the enhance of contents development to the shortening of a development Period.

Gratification Obtained from Telephone Use and Characteristics of Telephone as Interpersonal Communication Medium (전화의 이용과 충족 그리고 대인매체로서의 전화의 속성: 이동전화, 면대면 채널과의 비교를 중심으로)

  • Despite the ubiquity of telephone, the medium has received far less scholarly attention than it should deserve. This study begin with the purpose of fair appraisement of telephone in Korean social communication. To accomplish this purpose, the gratification obtained from telephone, the appropriateness of it as interpersonal communication medium and communication network through telephone were studied. The related raw data were collected from on-line survey process, and statistically analyzed. The result showed sociability, information, transaction, entertainment, emergency, and reassurance are gratifications obtained from telephone use. Younger persons tend to have more positive attitude to mobile phone as interpersonal communication medium. Particularly when the seniors are interpersonal communication partner and impending task is advice or request, younger persons tend to perceive mobile phone more appropriate than the elder persons do. And mobile phone deepens 'communication endogamy' of our society, especially in the youth. Thus, it is plausible to predict that mobile phone will be more important in social communication of our society when the youth become the mainstream of our society.

  • The rapid growth of mobile communication technology has provided the expansion of mobile internet services, particularly mobile realtime transaction takes much weight among mobile fields. There is an increasing demand for various mobile applications to process transactions in a mobile computing fields. Thus, During transmission in wireless networks a base station failure inevitably causes data loss of the base station buffer. It is required to compensate the loss for communication. The existing methods for a base station failure are not adequate because they all suffer from too much overhead and resolve only the link failure. In this paper, we study an efficient recovry systems for a mobile DBMS. We propose SLL (Segment Log List) that enables the mobile host to compensate data loss efficiently in the case of base station failure. In SLL, a base station deliveries an output information of data cells to a mobile host. when a base station fails, the mobile host can retransmit just next data cells. We also prove the efficiency of new method.

The Effects of E-marketing Communications on Brand Loyalty: The Case of Mobile Telephone Operators in Kosovo

  • Purpose - This study evaluates the effects of e-marketing communication on brand loyalty in the mobile communication market in Kosovo. given that no prior studies of this nature are found. It explores the relationships, between e-marketing communication, brand image and customer satisfaction, and their impact on the brand loyalty. Research design, data, and methodology - The research model of four constructs was developed. The data was collected via online surveys, 423 completed surveys from mobile subscribers were received. To test the relationship between the individual variables and multiple variables with the dependent variable several test were performed including data validity and reliability, bivariate correlation, simple linear and multiple regression analysis using stepwise method. Results - Positive significant effect of e-Marketing communication on brand loyalty, as well its significant effect on both brand image and customer satisfaction, which subsequently have significant impact on brand loyalty as it was confirmed by previous studies. Conclusions - The findings confirm that e-Marketing communication is key factor in building well perceived brand image, fostering customer satisfaction, and leading to customer commitment and loyalty towards brands of mobile operators in Kosovo.
