블루투스를 이용한 무선 헤드셋 구현 (Implementation of the wireless headset using Bluetooth)

  • 블루투스 기술은 휴대용 장치와 전자제품 사이에 저전력, 저비용, 근거리 무선 연결을 위한 근거리 무선 통신을 위한 새로운 표준이다. 이 기술은 장치들 사이에 복잡스러운 케이블, 케넥터 그리고 혼란스러운 통신 프로토콜을 제거 할 수 있다. 휴대폰, 페이져, 랩탑, PDA, 디지털 카메라 그리고 더 많은 장치들은 생산과정에서 통신을 위한 공통된 구조를 갖게 된다. 본 논문에서는 휴대폰과 헤드셋 사이의 통신을 위한 블루투스 프로토콜 스택과 헤드셋 프로파일을 나타낸다. 그리고 나서 블루투스 프로토콜 스택에 의해서 응용을 조작하는 장치에 내장되어 있는 응용 소프트웨어를 구성한다. 다음으로 실제 동작 시스템을 사용하지 않고 MSP430을 사용하여 무선 헤드셋을 구현한다.

인체 손가락 해석을 통한 UMPC 키패드 설계 최적화 (Design Optimization of UMPC Keypad Using Human Finger)

  • As the mobile electronic product is getting slimmer and smaller, the necessity of keypad is being increased. But the possibility of mis-typing keypad is increased rapidly due to the integrated keypad in the small mobile product. The business division has not considered the methodology of keypad design essentially. In this paper, analysis method and design evaluation standard to reduce the mis-typing of UMPC(Ultra Mobile Personal Computer) is suggested. First, the finite element analysis model and the biomechanical human body model are implemented in order to simulate the exact contact characteristic between finger and keypad. The reliability of analysis model is guaranteed by the comparison of the contact pressure between analysis result and experiment result of the pressure sensor. The design optimization of key shape and layout is derived through the response surface method. The prototype model is produced with the optimized design of keypad, and then it verified the advanced function with user mis-typing detection test. The optimized keypad design reduced the mis-typing ratio from 35% of existing model to 75 of proposed model. If this paper is widely applied to not only UMPC but also the other electronic products, the emotional quality of all products could be improved considerably.

Gift-giving Behaviors via SNS Mobile App: An Exploratory Study of Fashion Products

  • As social distancing strengthened after the COVID-19 incident, people looked for things they could do alone. Additionally, as people have more financial resources, they purchase products they had previously considered purchasing, and the phenomenon of giving gifts to oneself has also appeared. Accordingly, this study analyzed fashion product reviews of KakaoTalk Gift, the service to exchange gift via SNS mobile app, to discover the phenomenon of self-gifting and the differences from interpersonal-gifting. For post-hoc data, in collected 18,354 pieces after excluding unnecessary data using a Python-based web crawling technique. The self-gifting behavior of KakaoTalk Gift different from the previous study for self-gift. Regardless of the gift-giving contexts, it determines that most self-gift products are material items. There are differences in product types and price levels when choosing gifts for others and oneself. As a self-gift, people typically buy luxury jewelry and branded bags/wallets to wear and show off. As interpersonal, among fashion products, people usually buy beauty products that reflect less personal tastes. When gift-giving to others, people buy products to appropriate prices to reduce the burden on both. When gift-giving to oneself, people buy wanted products regardless of the price. This study is significant because it suggests a new direction in self-gift research by limited online places to give gifts.

오프라인 매장에서의 온라인 채널 통합 운영방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Online Channel Integration in Offline Shops)

  • Due to recent proliferation of the mobile shopping channels, customers increasingly tend to purchase using online channel while experiencing physical products in offline shops. This phenomenon requires traditional offline retailers to consider integrating online channels. In this study, we propose strategic options for the traditional offline retailers regarding the online channel integration, and provide corresponding decision models to maximize the expected profits. We also investigate how the strategic options vary with the product characteristics, by categorizing the products based on inventory cost, demand uncertainty, and fitness to the online channels. By analyzing numerical examples we illustrate how the best online channel integration strategy should be differentiated depending on the product categories.

  • Top music 10 is a additional service product of the A mobile telephone company. Up to now, A company is just selling it by outbound TM to customers which visit any contents of Top Music 10. In this paper, we proposed a targeting method combining two score models by data mining. The proposed combining model is to find customers more likely to respond to outbound TM. The proposed targeting method is expected to improve both from 32.8% to 44.0% in the response rate and from 54.7% to 61.4% in the retention rate.

  • 유비쿼터스 사회의 도래로 모바일 비즈니스 서비스 수요의 증대와 다양한 사용자 요구사항 및 변경이 빈번해짐에 따라 소프트웨어의 특성을 적시에 반영할 수 있는 새로운 소프트웨어 개발 기술이 필수적이다. 소프트웨어 프로덕트 라인은 공통의 유사한 기능을 가지고 있는 소프트웨어 제품 혹은 소프트웨어 시스템 집합으로 특정 영역의 시장과 용도의 요구사항에 따라 재사용 가능한 아키텍처 및 컴포넌트를 구성함으로써 생산성과 품질을 향상시킬 수 있다. 특히, 시스템을 분할하고 구조화하여 시스템의 성능과 효율성을 향상시킬 수 있는 소프트웨어 아키텍처 개념이 중요시 되면서 아키텍처의 개발과 평가에 대한 체계적인 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 CBD (Component Based Development)를 기반한 소프트웨어 프로덕트 라인(PLD: Product Line based Development)을 도입하여 모바일 비즈니스 도메인에 적합한 모바일 응용 시스템 아키텍처(MASA: Mobile Application System Architecture)를 제시한다.

Wireless Audio-visual Interface over UWB

  • Typically internal mobile LCD display modules are connected to the mobile product baseband PCB with flexible printed circuit board equipped with board-to-board connector. This solution has a drawback of limiting the product concept work to certain solutions that are based on connector size, location, flexible PCB length, bending, etc. in the display module. Also flexible printed circuit board based solutions are not completely optimized from reliability point of view, causing flex circuit board breakings. For the external displays in the PC or Home entertainment market, the cable solution is too expensive and resource demanding. The wireless solution has obvious advantages over reliability, low cost and flexibility. This paper describes a wireless audio-visual interface solution.

  • This paper deals with an CAE analysis and optimization of injection molding for a mobile phone cover. Two design goals are established in the optimization; one is to switch over the feed system from cold runner to hot runner for the purpose of reducing material costs, and the other is to minimize the warpage in order to improve product quality. By the full-factorial experiments for design parameters, we showed that the cold runner design could be changed to the hot runner design by replacing the current resin with a new resin of higher fluidity. In addition, we could significantly reduce the warpage of the cover product under the hot runner system by optimizing packing pressure and packing time.

  • With the development of mobile and wireless environments, the Ubiquitous era has com on the base of technologies of Semantic Web and Web Services. To accelerate proliferation of the E-Commerce in the Ubiquitous era, the importance of information search is emphasized more and more and its time to need more intelligent search for product and service which can consider location and other context-aware related information. As a starting point to meet these requirements, we proposed more effective product information search service framework through web services under semantic web environment. Over the wireless internet and we also examined its technical validity with the prototype system, implemented prototype and investigated the technological possibility.

휴대폰 User Interface 개발을 위한 가이드라인 (Guidelines for Mobile Phone User Interface Development)

  • 신기술의 지속적인 적용으로 휴대폰의 사용 난이도가 높아짐에 따라 user interface의 중요성이 강조되고 있다. User interface 개발 프로세스의 복잡도와 이에 따르는 로드 또한 지속적으로 높아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 체계화된 휴대폰 user interface의 개발 방법론에 대하여 논의하였다. 기존 휴대폰 개발 프로세스를 검토하고, 이에 따르는 개발상의 이슈사항을 살피고, 4단계의 가이드라인 적용을 통한 user interface 개발 프로세스를 제안하고 있다. 기존 유저 인터페이스와 관련한 연구들은 대부분 개발 대상에 대해 집중되어 있으나 좋은 user interface는 좋은 UI개발 프로세스를 통하여 실현될 수 있으며, 때문에 UI 매니지먼트 레벨의 논의는 제품 UI 개발과는 별도로 다루어질 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서 제시된 4단계 가이드라인은 휴대폰의 UI 개발뿐만 아니라 타제품 및 서비스의 UI개발에도 응용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
