Korean university libraries has lead the advancement of library service by adopting state-of-art technology for the improvement of information service provision, which therefore contributes to the consolidation of the status of the library as a center of information circulation among related institutions. This paper examines the current conditions of wireless internet service provided by the university libraries. First, it takes 'WDL mobile campus consortium', which is an organized movement with many university libraries involved, and explores their major issues such as wireless internet service environment, platform components, service components and functions, user environment and usage. Finally, this paper makes suggestions for the continuous advancement of the university libraries' wireless services.

This study aimed to investigate the period-specific changes (Library 1.0, Library 2.0, Library 3.0 Period) of job factors and performance features in academic libraries. For this, the study categorized an academic library's job into five dimensions: 1) library administration 2) collection development and management 3) information organization 4) information services and 5) information system development and management, After the categorized library's job was defined in detail, the Delphi survey was conducted twice on librarians and professors of library and information science. The result showed that there were many changes in job factors and performance features in academic libraries towards the period of library 2.0 characterized by user participation, sharing and openness and into library 3.0 characterized by social network and semantic web. Library 3.0 is likely to bring about a significant change in user services with ever changing technological advances stemming from library 2.0, such as mobile services, RFID and NFC etc. The finding of the study suggest that library systems need to be continually upgraded in the period of library 3.0.

The current excessive limitations to mobile RFID tags and readers make it impossible to apply present codes and protocols. The technology for information and privacy protection should be developed in terms of general interconnection among elements and their characteristics of mobile RFID in order to such technology that meets the RFID circumstances. In this paper, transplanting and extending security library for protecting mobile RFID information in secure mobile RFID terminal S/W platform system to support security application on the path of all data from RFID reader to application server.

A mobile agent system is an infrastructure that supports the mobile agent paradigm. The main challenges encountered in designing this infrastructure are discussed in this paper. After introducing a generic mobile agent system, we discuss the design issues at two levels. System level issues like the provision of agent mobility and security, are mainly encountered in developing the runtime environments for agent execution. Language level issues, such as agent programming models and primitives, arise in providing support for mobile agent programming, mainly at the library level. This paper Identifies such system and language-level issues, and illustrates the different ways developers ate addressing them. We outline the specific challenges addressed by this dissertation, primarily in the area of mobile agent security.

The purpose of the study is to suggest and measure the ways to activate the use of wireless internet services in university libraries. For this, 1 reviewed the concepts and characteristics of wireless internet and investigated both local and foreign cases on wireless internet service of university libraries, library users' usage status, and their demands. Based on the case study and survey results, I suggest the strategic consideration and active publicity of university libraries, the introduction of the services students more prefer, the development of differentiated menus from ordinary wire internet services, and the consistent financial support of the university authority.

Active studies are under way on telemedicine and medical support based on mobile devices in order to vitalize U-Healthcare. Especially when the medical law is revised to allow a remote prescription system, studies on a mobile prescription system will rapidly increase. And yet since mobile apps have less compatibility due to the nature of mobile platform, there is a restriction that they have to be redeveloped to be compatible with the platform. To compensate this problem, this study designs a mobile web prescription interface by using HLTML5, the standard language of mobile web development and jQuery Mobile, a JavaScript Library. It also adds a feature of converting to a form of standard protocol HL7-based messages to share data with existing hospital information system. This interface makes it possible to be interlocked with the existing hospital information system through the transmission of the HL7 messages. The advantage of the proposed system is that it can be used in various environments since it is independent of mobile platforms and compatible with general computers.

According to the number of the books in the library growing dramatically, dealing with them becomes a serious problem. Especially Plenty of budgets have been consumedin arranging and keeping the books. To solve these confronted problems, RFID technology is researched in this thesis. By utilizing the mobile RFID readers, Book Management System which makes possible to reduce time and cost to input the information of locationand present situation of books in real time is developed. Moreover since the active tag which uses the 900 radio frequency band and mobile RFID reader are used, it is possible to achieve multi-recognizing system.

As the growing popularity of smartphones, mobile web browsing has become one of the most important and popular applications in mobile devices. Furthermore, it is clear that the demand for PC-like full browser performance on mobile devices is increasing greatly. WebKit is an open source web browser engine adopted by Google Android. This paper proposed a technique of increasing the performance of WebKit by paralleling its libraries. This method was applied to JPEG library and the performance evaluation was conducted in PC environment. The results was used to estimate the performance prediction on multi-core mobile embedded architecture and to show the feasibility of the proposed method to estimate the performance gain on heterogeneous multi-core embedded architecture.

The library tour program is a new type of cultural program that was first introduced and operated by J City, and library tourists travel to specialized libraries in the city according to a set course and experience various experiences. This study aims to build a customized course recommendation model that considers the characteristics of individual participants in addition to the existing fixed group travel format so that more users can enjoy the opportunity to participate in library tours. To this end, the characteristics of library travelers were categorized to establish traveler personas, and library evaluation items and evaluation criteria were established accordingly. We selected 22 libraries targeted by the library travel program and measured library data through actual visits. Based on the collected data, we derived the characteristics of suitable libraries and developed a persona-based library tour course recommendation model using a decision tree algorithm. To demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed recommendation model, we build a mobile application mockup, and conducted user evaluations with actual library users to identify satisfaction and improvements to the developed model.

In this paper, we developed a mobile RPG System based on real time. This system includes game engine based on real time, system library, item trade server based on network, and client tools. Also, to make inroads into USA market, we are using smart phone platform based on Microsoft Windows CE.
