  • Mobile game is a killer content among the various mobile contents provided by Telecommunication companies. Recently, Location Based Service (LBS) market is growing rapidly and LBS will be a killer content in the near future. As a consequence, mobile game combined with LBS will be a dominant trend of mobile content. However, there exist some limitations on the revitalization of the mobile service market. In this paper, analysis of the restrictions on the mobile service market is performed and then methods for the revitalization of the mobile service market are proposed various billing system is required to reduce network fee for users, a new policy to protect privacy has to be offered, and the infrastructure for high network performance should be developed. The result of this research will provide key role to find a new and more innovative approach to enhance the interaction design of the future Location Based Mobile Games.

  • In the 2000s, the PC package game market has withered, but the internet based on-line game, the wireless internet based mobile game and high-powered console game market have been main stream. Among those markets, mobile game market has rapidly increased because it has 'mobility' that overcomes the limitation of time and area. But, unlike other platforms, mobile game user have to pay the higher price for download mobile game contents through the wireless internet and mobile game developer have to overcome the limitation of storage memory capacity.of mobile phone. Chiefly, the image data consume the storage capacity of mobile game contents, this paper present a technology to optimize image data for mobile game contents through analyzing type of compression method and image formats.

Predictors of Mobile Advertising Avoidance: What Makes People Avoid Mobile Advertising?

  • This study is designed to examine antecedents and consequences of mobile advertising avoidance. However, to date, research on mobile advertising avoidance has been scarce. Thus, this study makes significant contributions by addressing understudied areas in mobile advertising. Study results show that the perceived mobile advertising risk is positively related to mobile advertising avoidance. This study found that the perceived trust in mobile advertising is negatively linked to mobile advertising avoidance. The study results show that the perceived Internet users' data privacy concerns is positively linked to mobile advertising avoidance. Finally, study results suggest that mobile advertising avoidance is positively linked to intention to delete the ad.

  • This study provides an overview of instruments for mobile contents start-up companies promotion that are currently available in Seoul. It includes a brief description of several different types of start-up companies and development processes for each of those companies so that it can analyze and figure out critical success factors for sustainable growth. In addition, the case studies of five mobile contents related companies are used to obtain more detailed insights into the development processes. The study focuses on mobile contents startups promotion used as a public policy for encouraging more productive and knowledge-intensive ventures, with the aim of upgrading management activities and creating more startups-friendly business environment. Consequently, the key target groups of the measures discussed in the study include mobile contents start-ups and start-ups that exploit new business opportunities in Seoul.

  • Video contents in the mobile environment are processed with the low bit-rate relative to normal video contents due to the consideration of network traffic; hence, it is necessary to protect the copyright of the low bit-rate video contents. The algorithm for watermarking appropriate for the mobile environment should be developed because the performance of the mobile devices is much lower than that of personal computers. This paper suggested the invisible spread spectrum watermarking method to the low bit-rate video contents, considering the low performance of the mobile device in the M-Commerce environment; it also enables to track down illegal users of the video contents to protect the copyright. The robustness of the contents with watermark is expressed with the correlation of extraction algorithm from watermark removed or distorted contents. The results of our experiment showed that we could extract the innate frequencies of M-Sequence when we extracted M-Sequence after compressing the contents with watermark easily. Therefore, illegal users of the contents can be tracked down because watermark can be extracted from the low bit-rate video contents.

  • This research proposes a personalized mobile web contents creation method that uses web news channel contents-based analysis. It promptly acquires data through the RSS and RSS-linked web pages which have been supplied by the existing web sites for a news search. And then It applies a personalization method using analysis in contents filtering and generation. The proposed method will make creating mobile web contents easier while lowering wireless contents production costs. Moreover, It can be improved a user satisfaction for contents filtering and access with using analysis that fits in with a matter of user's specific interest.

  • In spite of the rapid growth of mobile multimedia contents market, most of the customers experience inconvenience, lengthy search processes and frustration in searching for the specific multimedia contents they want. These difficulties are attributable to the current mobile Internet service method based on inefficient sequential search. To overcome these difficulties, this paper proposes a MOBIIe COntents Recommender System for Movie(MOBICORS-Movie), which is designed to reduce customers' search efforts in finding desired movies on the mobile Internet. MOBICORS-Movie consists of three agents: CF(Collaborative Filtering), CBIR(Content-Based Information Retrieval) and RF(Relevance Feedback). These agents collaborate each other to support a customer in finding a desired movie by generating personalized recommendations of movies. To verify the performance of MOBICORS-Movie, the simulation-based experiments were conducted. The results from this experiments show that MOBICORS-Movie significantly reduces the customer's search effort and can be a realistic solution for movie recommendation in the mobile Internet environment.

It is obvious that every country, based on politics, economy, society, industry, has a different understanding to the design. With the popularity of mobile phone, it has been in close contact with our lives. Mobile phone is changing our way of life, it also has become a culture, and is reflected in a period in different countries and different ethnic's cultural traditions and lifestyle. In this paper, the study is about the impact of culture on mobile telephone design and application, especially for appearance and input for mobile telephone.

  • With development of mobile communications terminal and expansion of mobile Internet, a large number of users can use mobile web contents at anytime and anywhere and will demand service of greater contents. Due to such demand, many studies are being carried out on transcoding contents so that wired web contents can be used in mobile web. However, transcoding and creation of mobile web contents involve difficulties because specifications available from telecommunications companies and mobile terminals have not been standardized. Especially, in order for serving dynamic object of wired web page contents to dynamically change according to time or user, it is required not only to program scripts to suit each terminal, but also to transcode the resources used in advance. For solution to this problem, this study uses the hierarchy structure of DOM (document object model) to display structural characteristics of wired web page. In other words, this study proposes the following technique Wired web pages are analyzed and the results are established as data structure. Then, dynamic object is extracted and the domain is indexed so that, when serving mobile web page, information can be extracted at the indexed position to create mobile web contents for service on real-time basis.

  • When mobile node moves into the different IP address area, the mobile node can be set the proper environment parameters automatically by DHCP. If we extend the DHCP option field to support the roles of home agent and foreign agent in mobile IP protocol, mobile node can perform the foreign address registration process of mobile IP protocol when DHCP IP environment is achieved automatically, too. DHCP is supplied in the PC with a series of Windows NT. This paper proposes and implements the functional blocks of extended DHCP nodes and this enables the DHCP node have a role of mobile IP agents without another protocol functional blocks.
