The growing literature on smart tourism and the increasing number of smart tourism initiatives demonstrate that the idea of smart tourism is captivating and that its potential is great. However, its concrete implementation so far has lacked the transformative focus called for by smart development principles. This paper suggests that conceptualizing smart tourism development as a utopian endeavor that requires critiquing the status quo and collective imagining of better tourism and good destinations could help smart tourism efforts transcend their instrumental, short-term, and fragmented character. It further introduces the concept of the Smart Tourism Mindset to propose that, as a utopian enterprise, smart tourism needs to be guided by specific values and traits that permeate actors at all levels. The paper concludes by calling for a greater focus on identifying what these values and traits are and how to best establish and communicate the Smart Tourism Mindset.

For this purpose, a survey was conducted on 485 female adolescent girls in D city, Chungcheongnam-do, and the data collected were analyzed for differences test, correlation analysis, and regression analysis of moderating effects. Findings are as follows. First, school adaptation differed according to parents' earning income and academic achievement. Second, growth mindset and school adaptation showed significant positive correlation, but home abuse showed negative correlation with other variables. Third, the result of regression effect of moderating effect showed that the growth mindset for personality had a moderating effect. Finally, based on this study, we discussed ways to improve the school life of female students and teenagers. Specifically, it was suggested to consider the growth mindset and age for personality.
The purpose of this study is to verify the mediating effect of career adaptability in the relationship between growth mindset and occupational engagement. A total of 203 data were collected through an online survey targeting university students. For data analysis, frequency analysis and descriptive statistics analysis were used via SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 25.0 software. As a result of the study, growth mindset had a direct effect on occupational engagement (𝛽=.254, p<.01) and the mediating effect of growth mindset on occupational engagement through career adaptability was also statistically significant. (𝛽=.137, p<.01). This study suggests that it is important to promote occupational engagement for students' correct career guidance, and to this end a practical strategy for cultivating a growth mindset and career adaptability is needed.
This study aims to provide basic data to increase the happiness of college students by verifying whether a growth mindset moderates the mediating effect of teachers' autonomy support for students in the relationship between academic achievement and happiness. The survey subjects were intentionally sampled from 396 engineering students attending a university in Guangzhou who performed a business practice project. The questionnaire method was used to collect data, and the collected data was analyzed using SPSS PC+ Win. 27.0 and PROCESS macro 4.2. The applied statistical techniques were frequency, reliability, correlation, and moderated mediation effect analysis. The research results are as follows. First, there was a significant positive correlation between academic achievement, teachers' autonomy support, growth mindset, and happiness. Second, a growth mindset played a role in increasing the impact of academic achievement on happiness through teachers' autonomy support. Therefore, it was confirmed that a growth mindset increases the mediating effect of teachers' autonomy support in the relationship between academic achievement and happiness. Based on the research results, measures to improve the happiness of college students were suggested.
This study aims to determine whether happiness and hope mediate in the relationship between growth mindset and academic achievement among Chinese college students. Data were collected through a survey targeting 337 college students purposively sampled at a university in Guangdong, China. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS PC+ Win ver. 25.0 and SPSS PROCESS macro ver. 4.2. The statistical methods applied were frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and dual mediation effect analysis. The conclusion of the study is as follows. First, growth mindset, happiness, hope, and academic achievement all showed significant positive correlations. Second, college students' happiness and hope double mediated the relationship between a growth mindset and academic achievement. Based on these results, this study proposed a plan to utilize not only a growth mindset but also happiness and hope to improve the academic achievement of college students.
Objectives: This study was conducted to analyze the factors influencing the positive psychological capital, growth mindset, and self-leadership of dental hygienists in the Seoul and Gyeonggi regions with regard to their retention intention. The findings would serve as basic data for improving the retention intention. Methods: The methods espoused for analysis comprised independent sample t-test and ANOVA for group comparisons, Pearson's correlation analysis for examining the correlation between variables, and multiple regression analysis for identifying factors affecting retention intention. Results: Positive psychological capital was higher among those under the age of 27 and employed in dental clinics. Growth mindset was higher among those with less than three years of work experience and those working in clinics. Self-leadership was higher among those aged 28-31, and retention intention was higher among those under the age of 27 and with less than three years of work experience (p<0.05). A correlation was observed between positive psychological capital and self-leadership (r=0.760), self-leadership and retention intention (r=0.514), positive psychological capital and retention intention (r=0.505), positive psychological capital and growth mindset (r=0.337), and growth mindset and self-leadership (r=0.245) (p<0.001). Factors influencing the intention to stay at work were self-leadership (β=0.309) and positive psychological capital (β=0.242) (p<0.05). Conclusions: In order to improve dental hygienists' retention intention, it is necessary to devise strategies for improving positive psychological capital and self-leadership.

To verify the hypotheses of the study, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, measurement model analysis, validation of the measuremen model, and structural equation model analysis are used based on the questionnaire. First, it is confirmed that the mindset had a negative (-) effect on the cabin crew's role stress, reward stress and relationship stress. Second, it is found that cabin crew's reward stress have a negative (-) effect on job performance. On the other hand, relationship stress is found to have a positive influence on job performance and there is no significant result in effect with role stress. Data were collected through a survey targeting 547 college students who were purposively sampled at a junior college in China. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS PC+ Win ver. 25.0 and SPSS PROCESS macro ver. 4.2. The applied statistical methods were frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and moderated mediation effect analysis. The study showed that academic burnout had a significant negative correlation with growth mindset, study engagement, and academic self-efficacy. On the other hand, growth mindset, study engagement, and academic self-efficacy showed a significant positive correlation. Second, the moderated mediating effect of a growth mindset was verified in the effect of academic burnout on academic self-efficacy through study engagement. Based on these results, this study proposed a method to protect academic self-efficacy by applying study engagement and growth mindset in situations where academic burnout among college students reduces academic self-efficacy.
